Objective To improve the DXC series of psychology test instrument and its supporting software.Methods The nRF905 chip and STC89LE516AD chip were used to design the question system.Results Such shortcomings in the DXC-5 system were improved as overweight,too many link-wires,too much time in the initial deployment,etc.Conclusion The system can be used to select not only flight personnel and cosmonauts,but also personnel in other special professions.

3.Analysis of 220 Cases of Drug Counseling in Inpatient Pharmacy of Our Hospital

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for continuous improvement of drug counseling and pharmaceutical care. METH-ODS:220 cases of drug counseling answered by inpatient general pharmacist were collected from our hospital during 2012-2013, and the contents of drug counseling were classified and analyzed. RESULTS:Among consultants,73.18% of them were physi-cians;the type of drug involved mainly were antibiotics,accounting for 42.73%;main contents of drug counseling included drug selection,usage and dosage,accounting for 47.27%. CONCLUSIONS:Pharmacists provide drug counseling for physicians and nurses,answer various questions about usage,and guide rational drug use so as to enhance the communication between pharma-cists and physicians,nurses,and promote rational drug use in the clinic.
4.Effect of basic fibroblast growth factor on rat brain intracellular free calcium following focal ischemia-reperfusion injury

BACKGROUND: Basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) possesses multiple functions such as promoting neuronal survival and growth of cell processes in vitro and antagonizing the toxicity of excitatory amino acids,thereby playing import roles in functional recovery of the central nervous system (CNS). But whether bFGF offers neuroprotection on ischemic brain tissues by modulating intracellular free calcium content remains unknown.OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of bFGF on intracellular free Ca2+ in the neural cells in the event of focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion (IR)injury.DESIGN: Randomized controlled study.SETTING: Department of Neurology of Second Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University.MATERIALS: This study was conducted in the Laboratory of the Department of Neurology, Second Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University between August and December 2003. Totally 24 SD were randomized into sham operation group, ischemic group, IR group and bFGF exposure group with 8 rats in each group.METHODS: Middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) model was established in rats in IR group and bFGF exposure group by inducing arterial thrombosis with thread, which was not preformed in rats in the sham operation group. Rats in bFGF exposure group received intraperitoneal injection of 10 μg/kg bFGF immediately after ischemia,which was replaced by the same volume of physical saline in the other two groups. Free Ca2+ in brain cells was detected at 24 hours of IR.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Free Ca2+ in the brain cells at 24hours of IR.RESULTS: All the 24 rats survived the experiment. Free Ca2+ in IR group was significantly higher than that of the sham operation group [(673.46±18.44) vs (224.71±10.58) nmol/L, F=1 329.06, P < 0.01], and also significantly higher in bFGF exposure group [(378.37±21.08) nmol/L,F=1 329.06, P < 0.01].CONCLUSION: Intracellular free calcium can be obviously depressed by bFGF following IR injury, which benefits cell membrane stability and help prevent intracellular Ca2+ overload.
10.The expression and correlation analysis of serum n-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide andprocalcitonin in patients with sepsis

Objective To investigate the expression and correlation of serum n-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP) and procalcitonin in patients with sepsis.Methods A total of 120 patients with sepsis and 40 healthy volunteers(control group) were enrolled.Sepsis patients were divided into general sepsis group,severe sepsis group and septic shock group according to the severity of the disease,each group of 40 cases.According to the prognosis of patients admitted to hospital after 28 d,all patients were divided into survival group and death group.Serum NT-pro BNP,PCT levels and acute physiology and chronic health status scores (APACHE-Ⅱ) were recorded.Results Compared with the control group,the serum levels of NT-pro BNP,PCT were significantly higher in sepsis group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);As sepsis progressed,serum NT-pro BNP,PCT level and APACHE Ⅱ score were significantly increased among 3 groups(P<0.05).The serum levels of PCT,serum NT-pro BNP and APACHE Ⅱ score in the death group were significantly higher than those in the survival group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of serum NT-pro BNP were 81.34% and 86.27% and PCT was 83.08% and 88.61%,respectively.The level of serum NT-pro BNP and serum PCT levels were positively correlated (r=0.826,P<0.05),the serum NT-pro BNP level correlated with the APACHE Ⅱ score positively (r=0.756,P<0.05),serum PCT level and APACHE Ⅱ score were positively correlated (r=0.702,P<0.05).Conclusion Prediction and assessment of disease severity in patients with sepsis and survival have important clinical application value of serum NT-pro BNP and PCT levels in BNP.
