Cancer Research and Clinic 2011;23(11):736-738
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of ALIMTA (pemetrexed disodium) plus cisplatin. Methods Patients with malignant mesothelioma were allocated to two treatment groups envelope:pemetrexed plus cisplatin (PEM-group) or cisplatin alone (DDP-group).Results A total of 64 patients were randomly assigned and evaluated. The number of patients in PEM- and DDP-group had a significant pathologic complete response were (56.25 % vs 21.88 %,x2 =7.943,P <0.05).Progression-free survival was significantly higher in PEM-group (P <0.05),and 2-year survival rate was lower in DDP-group (P <0.05).Conclusion Pemetrexed elicit significant tumor response and delays disease progression compared with DDP alone in patients with advanced MPM.Improvement in OS is seen in this study.
2.Updates of radical antegrade modular pancreatosplenectomy applied to the surgical treatment for pancreatic carcinoma of body and tail
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2016;15(6):641-644
The traditional distal pancreatosplenectomy (DPS) has been the standard surgical procedure for the treatment of resectable pancreatic carcinoma of body and tail. With the development of medical technology, however, the results including the rate of R0 resection, number of lymph nodes dissected and postoperative 5-year survival rate were not significantly improved after DPS.According to pancreatic anatomy and phylembryogenesis, combined with renewed tumor treatment concept, the radical antegrade modular pancreatosplenectomy (RAMPS) was put forward after continuous exploration of pancreatic surgeons to improve prognosis of patients with pancreatic carcinoma of body and tail.Compared with DPS,RAMPS has advantages of R0 resection rate and regional lymphadenectomy and might become the standard surgical procedure.
3.Research on tumor suppressor mechanisms of maternally expressed gene 3
International Journal of Surgery 2016;43(7):495-498
As long non-coding RNA (LncRNA) research boom,Maternally Expressed Gene 3(MEG3) as LncRNA family is also a widespread concern.MEG3 not been studied in benign disease, and malignant disease more and more in-depth research.MEG3 because of the uniqueness of the tumor suppressor much attention in cancer research, but its specific mechanism of action of tumor suppressor and associated pathways have not been yet entirely clear, remains to be further research and clarify. This article will be now anticancer activity MEG3 and related Pathway summarized.

Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2009;37(12):1771-1775
The cyclic voltammetric behaviors of sodium selenite on the gold electrode modified by L-cysteine self-assembled monolayer (L-Syc,Au/SAMs) has been investigated in 0.05 mol/L H_2SO_4 solutions with sodium selenite. Sensitive anodic stripping current of selenium (Se) with the peak potential at 0.99 V (vs. SCE) has been observed. In comparison with the electrochemical properties of sodium selenite on the modified electrode with those on the naked gold electrode, it was found that selenite was reduced to selenium by the redox interaction with sulfur on the monolayer and the monolayer catalytically oxidizes Se as the electrode was positively scanned. According to the electrochemical properties of sodium selenite both on the naked and modified gold electrode, the Se deposition mechanism and catalytic mechanism as well as bionic membrane model were proposed for the bio-utilization of selenite through nano scale selenium.

[Objective]A new device of gear-distraction plate (GDP) for spine reduction and fixation was designed and its biomechanical characteristics was evaluated.[Method]The GDP implants were made of titanium alloy (TC4,Ti6AL4V) and the instruments were made of stainless steel after design.Eighteen fresh calf lumbar specimens were randomly divided into three groups, the GDP group had a biomechanical test contrast to control group(CD, Steffee) in load-responsive change, load-displacement, strength, stiffness, torsion intensity and ultimate strength.[Result]Results It is better than control group in load-responsive change, load-displacement, strength, stiffness, torsion intensity and ultimate strength, there was a significant difference between them (P
8. Induction of apoptosis in human renal tubular epithelial HK-2 cells by emodin and mediation of endoplasmic reticulum stress
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2013;44(12):1621-1627
Objective: To investigate the induetion of apoptosis in human renal tubular epithelial HK-2 cells by emodin and whether endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress is involved in its mechanism. Methods: HK-2 cells were cultured and treated with various concentration of emodin at different time points. The cell viability was determined by MTT assay. The gene expression of glucose-regulated protein 78 (GRP78), CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein-homologous protein (CHOP), activating transcription factor 3 (ATF3), and X-box binding protein 1 splicing (XBP1s) was evaluated by quantitative real-time PCR. The protein expression of caspase-3, GRP78, CHOP, and eukaryotic initiation factor 2 alpha (eIF2α) was detected by Western blotting. Results: The viability of HK-2 cells was decreased by emodin in a dose-dependent manner, and the apoptosis of the cells was associated with caspase-3 shear activation. The treatment with emodin in HK-2 cells caused the increase in eIF2α phosphorylation, XBP1 mRNA splicing, the gene expression of GRP78, CHOP, and ATF3, and the protein expression of GRP78 and CHOP. The pretreatment with 4-phenylbutyric acid and salubrinal significantly increased the viability of HK-2 cells, indicating the role of ER stress in emodin-induced apoptosis. Conclusion: Emodin induces the apoptosis in HK-2 cells and ER stress is involved in emodin-induced apoptosis.

Objective To analyze effect of oxycodone hydrochloride injection preemptive analgesia on serum cellular immune factors and analgesic effect in postoperative patients with humeral fracture surgery. Methods 52 patients treated by surgical treatment of humeral fractures in our hospital were collected. All patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,26 cases in each group.Preemptive analgesia drugs were given corresponding, before and 24h after surgery, the serum levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), venous blood CD4 +T, CD8 +T cells and CD4 +/CD8 + T levels and analgesic effect were detected in all patients. Results After surgery, compared with control group, the serum levels of TNF-αand IL-6 were lower in experimental group (P<0.05); the venous blood CD4 +T cell and CD4 +/CD8 + T levels were higher(P<0.05), CD8 +T cell level was lower in experimental group (P<0.05);the visual analogue scale(VAS) score was significantly lower in 2,4,6,12 and 24h after surgery in experimental group (P<0.05).Conclusions The oxycodone hydrochloride injection preemptive analgesia can significantly inhibit the increase of the serum TNF-αand IL-6 levels, prevent the decrease of immune function, improve the analgesic effect.

Objective To optimize the prescription and technology of Brucea javanica oil subnanoemulsion injection. Methods Using superfine Brucea javanica oil as oil phase, yolk lecithin and poloxamer 188 as the complex emulsifying agents. The dosage of oil, emulsifier and stabilizer were optimized and the preparation was optimized by orthogonal experiments. Results The optimum precription was 10% oil phase,1.2% emulsifier and 0.1% stabilizer. The optimum technology was that aqueous phase and oil phase mixed at 70 ℃,sheared 20 min by high speed shearing machine and then passed the ultra-high pressure nano homogenizer 6 times under the pressure of 900 bar. Conclusion The physical stability of Brucea javanica oil subnanoemulsion injection is good.
