Objective To investigate the respiratory pathogen distribution characteristics in children with acute respiratory disease(ARD).Methods Distribution of respiratory pathogen in 28 600 children with ARD,treated from January 2011 to December 2014 in this hospital, were analyzed. Results Among the 28 600 children,12 162 cases were pathogen positive, including 7 704 cases(63.34%) with single pathogen infection and 4 458 cases(36.66%) with more than two kinds of pathogens infection.Time, season, sex and age distribution of pathogen infection were with statistical difference(P<0.05).There was significant difference in infection rate of pathogens between different time(P<0.05).Infection rate of Mycoplasmal pneumonia(MP) was the highest, and the infection rate of MP and influenza B virus(IFB) increased year by year.Except Legionella pneumophila(LP),the season distribution of infection rate of MP,Coxiella burneti(COX),Chlamydia pneumoniae(CP),adenovirus(ADV),respiratory syncytial virus(RSV),influenza A virus(IFA),IFB and parainfluenza virus(PIVs) were with statistical difference(P<0.05).The infection rate of MP and IFB were higher in the whole year. Conclusion Distribution of respiratory pathogen in children with ARD might be related with the changes of gender, age and season.Detection of respiratory infection pathogen could be with guiding value for clinical diagnosis and drug selection.

Objective To investigate the effect of erythropoietin(EPO)as a brain-protective factor and inflammatory cytokines in the pathogenesis of cerebral palsy(CP).Methods Serum samples from 31 CP patients,37 neonates with CP risk factors such as hypoxic-ischemic injury and/or perinatal infection, and 20 controls of neonates or children were obtained respectively.EPO,tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α and interleukin(IL)-6 levels were measured with the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay double sandwich method(ABC-ELISA).Results The serum EPO level of neonatal patients was higher than that of controls or CP group(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference between CP group and controls. The serum TNF-α and IL-6 levels of CP and neonatal patients were higher than that in controls(P<0.01).The serum TNF-α level of CP group was higher than that of neonatal patients(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between CP group and neonatal patients in serum IL-6 level. Conclusion The inflammatory responses mediated by proinflammatory cytokines may play a role in the pathogenesis of cerebral palsy.

OBJECTIVETo explore the genetic basis for fetuses with cleft lip and palate.
METHODSFor 100 fetuses diagnosed with cleft lip with or without palate, G-banding chromosomal karyotyping and copy number variation sequencing (CNV-seq) were carried out on chorionic villi, amniotic fluid or cordocentesis samples.
RESULTSNo genomic abnormality was found among 49 fetuses with isolated cleft lip and palate, while 12 genomic aberrations were found among 51 fetuses with syndromic cleft lip and palate, which included 4 cases with trisomy 13, 2 cases with trisomy 18, 1 with X chromosome aneuploidy, 2 with other chromosomal aneuploidies and 3 with pathogenic CNVs.
CONCLUSIONThe incidence of genomic abnormalities in fetuses with cleft lip and palate was high. In addition to chromosomal abnormalities, attention should also be paid to pathogenic CNVs.

Objective To investigate high risk human papillomavirus(HR-HPV)prevalence among married women in Beijing and to study the high risk flactors.nethods During March 2007 to September 2008.a total of 6185 married women sampled from 137 communities in 12 districts were screened bv HR-HPV DNA test and cytogical test. The interview was carried out with unified questionnaires. The databage was set up and twice entered in EpiDam 3.0.After checked up,the data were analyzed in SPSS 15.0.Results (1) The HR-HPV infection rate was 9.89%.The HR-HPV infection rate of the city zone, the suburb and the exurb were 9.34%,10.51% and 9.51% (P>0.05).The HR-HPV infection rate of the native and the oudander were 9.53%,11.30% (P<0.05).(2) The age distribution of HR-HPV infection was that the rate was around 10% among 25 to 44 age groups, which was the highest(11.21%) in 30 to 34 age group;then the rate was descended as the age raising, the rate of 50 to 54 age group was the lowest(7.78%).(3) Multiple logistic regression showed that the related risk factors of HR-HPV infection mainly included 1000 RMB and above of family income per person per month.possessing more than 1 sexual partner of her husband, outlander and hish levels of education.(4) The prevalence of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)in HR-HPV positive group wag significantly higher than that in HR-HPV negative group(29.76% vs 3.32%,P<0.01).Conclusions(1)The HR-HPV infection rate among aged 25 to 54 years was 9.9% and there was no significant difference in area distribution.(2)The hish risk population which should strengthen screening was the married bearing-age women with high level of family income, outlander, high levels of education and her husband possessing more than 1 sexual partner.(3)HR-HPV infection is the main risk factor for CIN and cervical cancer.while does not provide a causal relationship with them. The high risk population should be checked regularly to understand the development of HR-HPV infection and CIN incidence.

The study is aimed to research the relationship between the seedling grade of Codonopsis pilosula and yield and quality of medicinal materials, so as to provide basis for establishing seedling standard. Thirty seedlings of C. pilosula were collected from the main production areas in Gansu province, such as Weiyuan, Minxian, Zhangxian, Dangchang and Longxi, root length and diameter and weight of all the samples were measured. According to the clustering results, seedlings were divided into 3 levels, and field experiments were conducted with three levels seedling, yield and quality were tested in laboratory. Results have showed that emergence of grades 1 was faster than that of grades 2 and 3. Yield of grades 1 was significantly higher than that of grades 2 and 3 (P<0.05). Propargyl glycoside content of grades 1 was the highest, and significantly higher than that of grades 3. Polysaccharide content of grades 3 was the highest and significantly higher than that of grades 1 and 2 (P<0.05). So considering yield, quality and investment cost of C. pilosula, planting seedlings of C. pilosula should select that root length>15.6 cm, root diameter>2.7 mm, root weight>0.56 g.

The progressive destruction of condylar cartilage is a hallmark of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) osteoarthritis (OA); however, its mechanism is incompletely understood. Here, we show that Kindlin-2, a key focal adhesion protein, is strongly detected in cells of mandibular condylar cartilage in mice. We find that genetic ablation of Kindlin-2 in aggrecan-expressing condylar chondrocytes induces multiple spontaneous osteoarthritic lesions, including progressive cartilage loss and deformation, surface fissures, and ectopic cartilage and bone formation in TMJ. Kindlin-2 loss significantly downregulates the expression of aggrecan, Col2a1 and Proteoglycan 4 (Prg4), all anabolic extracellular matrix proteins, and promotes catabolic metabolism in TMJ cartilage by inducing expression of Runx2 and Mmp13 in condylar chondrocytes. Kindlin-2 loss decreases TMJ chondrocyte proliferation in condylar cartilages. Furthermore, Kindlin-2 loss promotes the release of cytochrome c as well as caspase 3 activation, and accelerates chondrocyte apoptosis in vitro and TMJ. Collectively, these findings reveal a crucial role of Kindlin-2 in condylar chondrocytes to maintain TMJ homeostasis.
