Objective: To explore the comorbidity and associated factors of dental caries and overweight/obesity among primary and secondary school students in Guangxi, so as to provide a scientific basis for the development of targeted prevention strategies. Methods: A stratified cluster random sampling method was used to survey 178 700 students from the fourth grade of primary school to the third year of high school in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from September to November 2023, including physical examination, oral screening, and questionnaire survey. Chisquare tests and binary Logistic regression analysis were employed to investigate the related factors of the cooccurrence of dental caries and overweight/obesity among students. Results: The comorbidity rate of dental caries and overweight/obesity was 9.55%, with urban areas (9.95%) higher than rural counties (9.24%), boys (10.54%) higher than girls (8.54%), primary school students (11.49%) higher than senior high school students (8.92%) and junior high school students (8.05%), and nonboarding students (11.44%) higher than boarding students (7.94%), and all differences were statistically significant (χ2=26.07, 207.91, 471.54, 629.14,P<0.01). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that consuming cereal for breakfast (OR=0.91, 95%CI=0.88-0.94), drinking milk in the past week (OR=0.89, 95%CI=0.83-0.95), meeting sleep standards (OR=0.95, 95%CI=0.91-0.99), and brushing teeth at least once a day (OR=0.82, 95%CI=0.73-0.93) had a lower risk of the comorbidity of dental caries and overweight/obesity. In contrast, drinking beverages in the past week (OR=1.14, 95%CI=1.09-1.20), consuming fried foods in the past week (OR=1.11, 95%CI=1.06-1.17), eating fruit ≥1 time every day (OR=1.06, 95%CI=1.02-1.11), consuming fruit ≥1 type every day (OR=1.07, 95%CI=1.01-1.12), and having fish, poultry, meat, or eggbased breakfasts (OR=1.03, 95%CI=1.05-1.13) had a higher risk of the comorbidity of dental caries and overweight/obesity (P<0.05). Conclusions Dietary habits and lifestyle behaviors are associated with the comorbidity of dental caries and overweight/obesity among primary and secondary school students in Guangxi. Guiding students to form healthy living habits is helpful to preven dental caries and overweight/obesity.

Objective To investigate the correlation between plasma nucleotide-binding oligomer-ization domain-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome and atrial remodeling in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation(NVAF).Methods A total of 199 elderly NVAF patients hos-pitalized in the Department of Cardiology of the First Affiliated Kunming Medical University from July 2019 to October 2020 were enrolled in this study.The levels of inflammatory factors,such as plasma NLRP3 and IL-1β were detected using ELISA.Their clinical data and echocardio-graphic indicators were collected.According to the first quartile of left atrial diameter(LAD),they were divided into a LAD ≤36 mm group(52 cases)and a LAD＞36 mm group(147 cases).Based on the mean level of NLRP3(97 ng/L),the patients were assigned into a low level group(95 ca-ses)and a high level group(104 cases).Using the first quartile of IL-1β at 49 ng/L and the third quartile at 106 ng/L,they were categorized into low,middle and high level groups(40,82 and 77 cases,respectively).The correlation between plasma NLRP3 and IL-1β levels and atrial remode-ling were analyzed.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was conducted to determine whether NLRP3 inflammasome was an independent influencing factor of atrial remodeling in NVAF pa-tients.Results The IL-1β and NLRP3 levels were significantly elevated in the LAD＞36 mm group than the LAD ≤36 mm group(P＜0.05,P＜0.01).The patients with high NLRP3 level had an obviously larger transverse diameter of the middle right atrium than those with low level(P＜0.05).Higher LAD index(LADI)was found in the high IL-1β level group than the low and middle level groups,and larger long diameter of right atrium was observed in the high level group than the low level group(P＜0.05).Plasma NLRP3 level was positively correlated with LAD and transverse diameter of the middle right atrium(r=0.143,P=0.044;r=0.180,P=0.011),and plasma IL-1β level was positively correlated with LAD,LADI,and long diameter of the right atri-um(r=0.153,P=0.031;r=0.148,P=0.037;r=0.142,P=0.046).Multivariate logistic regres-sion analysis indicated that persistent atrial fibrillation,creatinine,pulmonary artery systolic pres-sure,and NLRP3 were independent risk factors for left atrial enlargement(P＜0.05,P＜0.01).Conclusion NLRP3 inflammasome is closely associated with atrial remodeling in elderly NVAF patients,and elevated plasma NLRP3 level is an independent risk factor of left atrial remodeling.

Objective To analyze the antibody types of autoimmune hemolytic anemia(AIHA)patients in Panyu dis-trict,Guangzhou and track the therapeutic effect of blood transfusion,so as to provide reference for clinical transfusion treat-ment strategy of AIHA patients.Methods From January 2021 to October 2023,96 ambiguous cross-matching blood sam-ples from Blood Transfusion Departments of local hospitals sent to Panyu Central Blood Station were analyzed,and 25 sam-ples of AIHA patients were identified.Then blood group identification,Rh system antigen phenotyping,antibody screening and cross-matching were further performed to analyze the correlation between antibody types and transfusion efficacy in AIHA patients.Results Among the 25 samples of AIHA patients,17 showed consistency between forward and reverse blood grouping and8 showed discrepancy.There were 19(19/25,76%)samples incompatible in cross match on the major side,of which 18(18/19,94.7%)were positive for direct Coombs test,autoantibodies and non-specific antibodies,and1(1/19,5.3%)was positive for autoantibody and alloantibody.There were 6(6/25,24%)samples compatible in cross match on the major side,of which 3(3/6,50%)were positive for autoantibodies,3(3/6,50%)were positive for au-toantibody and alloantibody.Of the 25 AIHA patients,20 received blood transfusion treatment and could be traced,and 5 patients did not receive blood transfusion treatment or transferred to other hospitals and could not be traced.Blood transfu-sion was effective in 11(11/20,55%)cases,partially effective in 6(6/20,30%)cases,and ineffective in 3(3/20,15%)cases.Among the ABO blood group incompatibility samples,transfusion was effective or partially effective in 17(17/20,85%)cases.Conclusion The transfusion efficacy of AIHA patients is not directly related to the results of cross-matc-hing.Under the premise of regulating the autoimmune environment and eliminating the ABO blood group incompatibility caused by unexpected alloantibodies,AIHA patients with incompatible cross-matching can be transfused when necessary,and transfusion of ABO and Rh system antigen homologous blood can improve the safety and efficiency of transfusion.

Objective To investigate the status of occult hepatitis B virus infection(OBI)among blood donors in Pan-yu District of Guangzhou,so as to provide reference for blood transfusion safety.Methods From January 1,2021 to July 31,2023,60 872 blood donors in Panyu District with HBsAg-/HBV DNA+were screened as OBI subjects.The age,gen-der and frequency of blood donation of OBI donors were statistically analyzed.HBV DNA viral load was detected and hepati-tis B five-panel test was performed.Results The HBsAg-/HBV DNA+positive rate of blood donors in Panyu District was 0.08％(50/60 872).The OBI positive rate of male blood donors was higher than that of female blood donors,with no statis-tically significant difference(P＞0.05).The OBI positive rate of blood donors increased with age,with statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).The OBI positive rate of first-time blood donors was higher than that of repeat blood donors,with sta-tistically significant difference(P＜0.05).Of the 50 HBsAg-/HBV DNA+donors,42 had a follow-up test,among which 14 had no HBV DNA detected.The mean value of the initial screening resolution CT was 37.77.In hepatitis B five-panel test,single HBsAb+accounted for the highest proportion as 50％(7/14).HBV DNA viral load was detected in 28 cases,and vi-ral load＜10 IU/mL accounted for 50％(14/28)and that＜200 IU/mL accounted for 96％(27/28).The mean value of ini-tial screening resolution CT was 34.55,mainly HBeAb+/HBcAb+in hepatitis B five-panel test,accounting for 32.14％(9/28).After multiple follow-up of 24 blood donors,37.5％(9/24)were detected with viral load,33.33％(8/24)were de-tected with no viral load,and 29.17％(7/24)had both negative and positive results.The hepatitis B five-panel test out-come of 29.17％(7/24)donors showed a turnover,while 70.83％(17/24)did not.Conclusion The OBI positive rate is lower in young repeat blood donors.Since OBI is the result of a variety of complex mechanisms,and the existing serological NAT cannot detect all OBI donors,strict pre-donation consultation and screening of previous HBV DNA+donors are very important for blood safety.It is recommended that patients with weakened immunity,such as organ transplantation,tumor chemoradiotherapy,or the use of immunosuppressive drugs,use virus inactivated blood products.

This paper summarized the experience of fire needling combined with black cloth ointment in the treatment of keloid. In terms of the pathogenesis of keloid， it is believed that "phlegm causes stasis， and then stasis accumulates into tumors" is the key； the internal obstruction of phlegm and stasis caused by insufficient endowment and invasion of external pathogens is the root of the disease， while the endogenous generation of phlegm and dampness is the branch. It is therefore proposed to explore the etiology and pathogenesis of keloid from the perspective of "phlegm-stasis-tumor"， and the treatment principle is mainly to eliminate phlegm， dispel stasis and dissolve tumors， supplemented with heat-clearing and toxin-resolving. Treatment methods include oral administration of Chinese herbal medicinals and external treatment. Self-made formula for keloid is taken orally， with the main functions of dissolving phlegm， dispelling stasis and clearing heat， to finally dissolve the tumors. For external treatment， fire needling is used to pierce the skin and to open the striae and interstices， and force out the toxin pathogens such as phlegm-heat and stasis-heat with fire power， thereby clearing heat， dissolving phlegm， dispelling stasis and resolving toxins. Black cloth ointment can be used to the affected area to unblock meridians and collaterals， clear heat-toxin and dissolve phlegm-stasis， thereby softening hardness and dissipating masses.

Objective To explore the inter-rater and within-rater reliability of the 30 categories of the International Classification of Functioning Disability,and Health(ICF)dysfunction set(ICF generic-30 set)in clinical function assessment,to provide a basis for its clinical application.Methods Ninety patients from the Neurorehabilitation Department of the First People's Hospital of Suqian City were enrolled in this study.All patients were evaluated by the same functional evaluator's ICF dysfunction combination at the two time points of admission and discharge for the internal reliability analysis of the evaluator.Thirty patients in the neurorehabilitation department were randomly selected to be evaluated by two ICF function evaluators at the same time to conduct test-retest reliability analysis among evaluators.The internal consistency of the Cronbach's α coefficient test scale,and the intra-group correlation coefficient(ICC)test inter-rater reliability and within-rater reliability.Results The Cronbach's α coefficients of the combination of ICF dysfunction,physical function and activity,and participation in the two subscales were 0.941,0.717,and 0.942,respectively.The inter-rater reliability analysis showed that the ICC of the total score of the scale and the total scores of physical function and activity and participation in the two subscales were 0.998,0.971,0.999(P<0.01),and the inter-rater reliability good;the internal reliability analysis of the evaluator showed that the total score of the scale and the total scores of physical function and activity and participation in the two subscales were 0.988,0.917,0.991(P<0.01),except that b640 sexual function is not applicable,and b130 energy Harmony drive function ICC is 0.558,b280 pain ICC is 0.409,ICC of other combination items is 0.838-0.986(P<0.01),the evaluator's internal reliability is good;90 patients'ICF dysfunction combination scale has 30 categories.The comparison between admission and discharge was statistically significant except that b640 was not applicable for sexual function(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of ICF dysfunction has good internal consistency and inter-evaluator and intra-evaluator reliability in the functional evaluation of patients in neurorehabilitation department.

Biological chemistry of Chinese herbal germplasm resources (BCCHGR) is a new cross-discipline formed from rapid development of modern science and technology and its application in the area of Chinese herbal resources. BCCHGR was defined as probing and understanding biological processes like heredity, gene transcription, expression and metabolism of Chinese herbal germplasm, at the interface of biochemistry, molecular biology and chemistry, elu-cidating the nature of Chinese herbal germplasm using as TCM medicine as well as the forming mechanism thereof. In this paper, the scientific background, definition, significance and contents of BCCHGR were discussed to depict a preliminary picture of BCCHGR and arouse popular consideration and discussions.

This study was aimed to identify original plants of Xi-Huang-Cao (XHC) through DNA barcodes. The nu-cleotide sequence information of rbcL, psbA-trnH, matK and ITS2 regions were abstracted using standardized man-ners from 41 samples (including Rabdosia serra, R. lophanthoides and R. lophanthoides var. graciliflora). Sequencing efficiency of each marker was calculated. Species identification capability was tested on the basis of TaxonGap. The results showed that sequence success rates were 100% for rbcL, 90.2% for psbA-trnH, 87.8% for ITS2, and 70.7%for matK. Three markers (rbcL, psbA-trnH and ITS2) were competent for species discrimination (not for subspecies). It was concluded that rbcL can be the preferred barcode for XHC because of its convenience and efficacy.

This article was aimed to study the species identification capability of psbA-trnH among Guanzhong herbs from Dryopteri. The nucleotide sequence information of psbA-trnH region was abstracted using standardized manners from 9 Dryopteri species (19 samples). The identification efficiency of psbA-trnH was analyzed based on TaxonGap among both tested materials (9 species, 19 samples) and tested materials plus GenBank data (17 species, 44 samples in total). The results showed that with the expanded species range, the discriminative efficiency of psbA-trnH de-clined from 100% (9/9) to 82.4% (14/17), while the proportion of within-specific heterogeneity larger than between-specific separability increased from 11.1% (1/9) to 52.9% (9/17). It was concluded that psbA-trnH can be recom-mended as the valuable barcode for homonym distinguishment among Guanzhong herbs, with attention of adequate sampling within species.
