3.Pay more attention to the role of macrophages in chronic low-grade inflammatory diseases
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2011;27(3):189-192
It is well known that the macrophages play an important defensive role in the innate immune system. During recent years, with the introduction of the concept of chronic low-grade inflammatory diseases and their further intensive study, the activation and balance of macrophage, as well as its inflammatory effects in chronic lowgrade inflammatory diseases, such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, atherosclerosis, and non-alcoholic fatty liver, are gradually becoming a hot topic of current research. The present article mainly gives an overview of the important role played by macrophages in the inflammatory effects in these diseases.
4.Effects of pulsed electromagnetic fields on BMD and TGF-?_1 in disuse osteoporosis rats
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(10):-
Objective To investigate the effects of pulsed electromagnetic fields(PEMF)on the bone mineral density(BMD)and serum level of transforming growth factor-beta 1(TGF-?1)in the disuse osteoporosis(DOP)rats. Methods Eighty 4-month-old female SD rats were randomly divided into 4 matched groups according to their weight:control group(INT group),DOP group, calcitonin group(CT group)and PEMF group.Rats in INT group were raised with the average amount of food consumed by the DOP rats.Right hindlimbs of rats in DOP,CT and PEMF groups were immobilized by tibia-tail fixation to establish DOP model as Zarzhevsky described.Rats in CT group were injected with calcitonin(2 IU/kg,i.p,once a day),and rats in group PEMF were irradiated with PEMF(8 Gs,15 Hz,a pulse time of 8 ms)immediately after operation. The rats(5 animals per time of each group)were killed at 1,2,4 and 8 weeks after operation and their right hindlimbs were resected. The BMD and serum TGF-?1 concentration were measured with a dual energy X-ray bone densitometer and ELISA respectively. Results Significant difference was observed in the femur proximal BMD between rats with right hindlimb immobilization(DOP group)and INT group 2 weeks later(P

International Journal of Pediatrics 2014;(5):489-492
With the rapid development of general anesthesia technology and the occurrence of new types of inhalation and intravenous anesthetics, safety and comfort requirements of general anesthesia become increas-ingly higher. Therefore, emergence agitation and its adverse consequences gradually receive more and more atten-tion . Thus the etiology and prevention of emergence agitation is an important issue in pediatric anesthesia at pres-ent. In recent years, some achievement has been made in emergence agitation following general anesthesia in children. This article will summarize the related factors, possible mechanisms and prevention strategics of pediat-ric emergence agitation.

Chinese Journal of Geriatric Heart Brain and Vessel Diseases 2014;(9):975-977
Objective To study the effect of 3-n-butylphthalide on expression of MMP-2 ,MMP-9 andβ-APP in rats following chronic cerebral hypoperfusion at molecular level .Methods Seventy-two male Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham operation group ,ischemic group ,and bu-tylphthalide group (24 in each group) .Rats in ischemic group and butylphthalide group were di-vided into postischemic 7 ,14 ,30 ,60 d subgroups (6 in each group) .Expressions of β-APP ,MMP-2 , MMP-9 in each group were detected by Western blot .Results The β-APP expression level was significantly higher in postischemic 14 d ,30 d ,60 d subgroups than in postischemic 7 d subgroup (P<0 .05 ,P<0 .01) ,and in postischemic 30 d ,60 d subgroups than in postischemic 14 d sub-group (P< 0 .01) .The β-APP expression level differed greatly in 30 d and 60 d butylphthalide subgroups (P<0 .01) .The MMP-2 expression level was significantly higher in postischemic 60 d subgroup than in postischemic 30 d subgroup (P<0 .05 ,P<0 .01) .Theβ-APP and MMP-2 ex-pression levels were significantly higher in ischemic group and butylphthalide group than in sham operation group (P<0 .05 ,P<0 .01) ,and significantly lower in butylphthalide group than in is-chemic group (P< 0 .01) .Conclusion MMP-2 and β-APP tend to change similarly and are in-volved in blood brain barrier destruction and amyloid deposition .Butylphthalide intervenes in am-yloid deposition by downregulating the expression of MMP-2 andβ-APP .

Objective To summarize the method of forearm skin flap with dorsal interosseous artery placed by turning the proximal end of the flap to the distal side of the wound to repair skin and soft tissue defect of palm and thumb of hand, and put forward the key points of operation. Methods From 2008 to 2013,the forearm skin flap with interosseous dorsal artery to repair skin and soft tissue defect of palm and the part between thumb and index finger in 20 cases.Dorsal interosseous artery in the forearm is passing through between superficial and deep layers of extensor muscles and sends out 5-13 cutaneous branches to dorsal antebrachium skin. The large skin flap has good blood supply with high survival rate. Results All flaps survived, and good results were achieved in all 20 cases. Conclusion The flap preserved two main arteries from upper limb with good blood supply, and the amount of blood supply of the flap depended on the size of flap, and the wound of donor site can be directly sutured up or covered with free skin graft, thus minimizing the alteration of appearance and function of donor area.

Military Medical Sciences 2015;(4):257-260
Objective To establish a regional medical information sharing platform used to promote the sharing of regional medical data such as electronic medical records( EMR) and medical images in order to improve medical services. Methods With reference to results and experience of the domestic and foreign research and by virtualizing re-establish-ment of the existing medical information resources,a regional medical information sharing platform was established based on cloud computing, SOA,and Web services, and then the heterogeneous information systems in different medical institutions were integrated. Results A novel cloud platform solution was proposed for clinical information exchange between medical institutions based on Web services that exchanged data and ensured the data security and privacy using XML encryption and compression. The prototype developed in a cloud environment was put into use in dozens of military hospitals to enable the sharing of clinical information. Conclusion This cloud computing platform has the advantages of dynamic scalability, distributed and ubiquitous access. It is highly feasible and practical for regional medical informatization.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 2004;0(05):-
Objective:To explore the difference in susceptibility to high-fat diet induced obesity in rats,as well as the changes of serum proteins. Method:Forty male SD rats were divided into basic group and high-fat diet group randomly. After 5w feeding DIO(diet-induced obesity)and DIO-R(diet-induced obesity resistance) rats were selected according to their body weight gain. The rats were sacrificed and the changes of serum proteins were screened using WCX2 proteomic chips made by American Ciphergen Biosystems. Results: DIO rats were significantly different from DIO-R rats in body weight,body-fat ratio, blood glucose and blood lipids. At the molecular weight range between 2 to 100 ku,the proteins with molecular weight of 7 945 and 9 513 were significantly expressed differently between DIO and DIO-R rats, and the proteins with molecular weight of 4496, 6152, 6267 were significantly expressed differently between DIO-R and control rats (the rats were fed basic diet). Conclusion:Different susceptibility to DIO or DIO-R was found in SD rats when they were fed high-fat diet. The differentially expressed serum proteins between DIO rats and DIO-R were observed, which might provide the basis for further isolation, purification and identification of these proteins.
