Objective: To observe the effects of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with hypertension on lipid metabolism and insulin sensitivity. Methods: A case-matched study of fasting plasma glucose (FBG), total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HIDL), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL), insulin (FIN), C-peptide (FCP) and insulin sensitivity index (ISI) were detected in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with and without hypertensiorn. Results: Twenty patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated hypertension had higher TG、 FINS and FCP, lower HDL and ISI levels than 20 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus without hypertension. Conclusion: Type 2 diabetes mellitus with hypertension had more remarkable lipid metabolic disorder and insulin resistance than type 2 diabetes mellitus without hypertension.

Ischemic cerebrovascular disease may result in severe neurological deficits, and even death. Rho kinase is an important downstream substrate of Rho protein. It involves in multiple biological effects, including vascular smooth muscle contraction, cell migration, inflammatory cell infiltration and vascular endothelial dysfunction. It plays important roles in the processes of the occurrence, development and expansion of infarct volume in ischemic cerebrovascular disease. Rho kinase inhibitor can effectively relax vascular spasm, reduce local inflammatory response, protect endothelial function, increase blood flow in ischemic region, reduce infarct volume, and improve neurological function.

Animal models of endometriosis with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptoms, not only provided a useful experimental method for TCM syndrome differentiation of endometriosis, also verified the pathogenesis of TCM of endometriosis, which offered the theoretical support for the clinic. This article discussed the establishment, result examination, existing limit, and solutions of animal models of endometriosis with TCM symptoms.

Objective To observe the influence and safety of rosuvastatin on high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP),Endothelin-1 (ET-1),N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP),pulmonary artery systolic pressure(PASP) and cardiac function in patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease.Methods Eighty patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease were enrolled and divided into the statin group(n =40) and the control group (n =40).All patients were given conventional therapy,while the statin group received additionally rosuvastatin 10 mg/d for 6 months.The control group did not receive any lipid-lowering drugs.The plasma levels of hs-CRP,ET-1,NT-proBNP,liver and kidney functions and creatine kinase (CK),echocardiographic indicators of PASP and right ventricular ejection fraction (RVEF) were measured and compared before and after 6-month treatment.Results The levels of hs-CRP,ET-1,NT-proBNP and PASP were significantly lower after 6-month treatment than before treatment in the two groups (Statin group:hs-CRP:(7.45 ± 1.96) mg/L vs.(20.67 ± 5.12) mg/L,t =9.57,P ＜ 0.01 ; ET-1:(45.72 ± 6.85) ng/L vs.(56.39 ±7.34) ng/L,t =3.78,P ＜ 0.01 ; NT-proBNP:(136.54 ± 20.67) ng/L vs.(182.83 ± 23.27) ng/L,t =4.15,P ＜0.01 ;PASP:(42.6 ± 6.3)mm Hg vs.(52.3 ± 8.4) mm Hg,t =3.54,P ＜ 0.01 ; Control group:hs-CRP:(12.73 ±3.14) mg/L vs.(20.58 ±4.98)mg/L;t =4.96,P ＜0.01 ;ET-1:(51.66 ± 6.42)ng/L vs.(56.43 ±7.81) ng/L,t =3.43,P ＜ 0.01 ; NT-proBNP:(162.74 ± 21.59) ng/L vs.(181.56 ± 22.78) ng/L; t =3.60,P ＜0.01 ;PASP:(45.7 ±6.5) mm Hg vs.(51.8 ± 8.2) mm Hg,t =3.62,P ＜ 0.01),but the statin group reduced even more significantly (t =2.36,2.21,2.25 and 2.09 respectively,P ＜ 0.05).The level of RVEF was significantly higher after 6-month treatment than before treatment in the two groups (Statin group:(50.8 ±7.9) ％ vs.(41.5 ±6.7)％,t =3.69,P ＜0.01 ;Control group:(46.6 ±7.8)％ vs.(42.0 ±6.2)％,t =3.58,P ＜ 0.01),but the statin group increased even more significantly(t =2.18,P ＜ 0.05).Statistical differences of liver and kidney function and serum CK were not found in the two groups before and after treatment(P ＞ 0.05).The adverse reaction in the statin group was few.Conclusion Rosuvastatin can reduce the levels of hs-CRP,ET-1,NT-proBNP and PASP,improve RVEF and cardiac function in patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease,and its security is fine.

Objective To investigate the electrocardiographic(ECG) characteristics and assess the safety of radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) of ventricular tachyeardia (VT), and frequent ventricular premature con- tractious(VPCs) originating from left ventricular outflow tract(LVOT). Methods Twelve-lead ECG analysis and RFCA were performed in 9 patient with VT or VPCs originating from LVOT. Results The sites to be successfully ablated were in left valsalva sinus in 6 patients,and subaortic valve in 3 patient. ECG revealed tall R wave in leads Ⅱ, Ⅲ ,aVF, V5 and V6. QS morphology in both leads aVR and aVL,QS morphology in lead Ⅰ in most cases. R wave in lead Ⅰ was relative tall, the R/S wave amplitude in lead V1 was over 0.62 ,and precordia R wave transition was irregular. All 9 patients were successfully ablated. No death or recurrenced case during follow-up. Conclusion Ventricular taehycardia and frequent ventricular premature rcontractions originating from left ventricutar outflow tract could be known by some specific ECG characteristics and could be radically treated safely by RFCA.

Objective To estimate the effection of orbital blowout fracture when Medpor was implanted to restore it. Methods The plastic operations on 15 patients with orbital blowout fracture were reviewed and studied. Results On discharge from the hospital, function and outline form was improved greatly in all cases. Conclusion Early diagnosis, early treatment and early movement training after surgery were emphasized. Medpor is one of the preferred material on reparing orbital blowout fracture.

Objective Compare the difference on vision,vision field between treating on central retinal artery with compound anisodine retrobulbar injection associate with emporat artery side injection and emporal artery side injection simply.Estimate the curative effect of the two ways on the disease.Methods Observe the patients'vision,vison field and cross-check,analyze the results who have central retinal artery and there are 20 who treated by compound anisodine retrobulbar injection associate with emporal artery side injection together with 20 who treated by emporal artery side injection purely.Results The therapeutics that is compound anisodine retrobulbar injection associate with emporal artery side injection is excellence to 10,effective to 6 and ineffective to 4;the therapeutics that is arter3,side injection purely is excellence to 5,effective to 5 and ineffective to 10.The two therapeuticses has significant difference on improving vision and ameliorating vision field.Conclusion It's quite effective to treat central retinal artery occlusion by compound anisodine retrobulbar injection associate with emporal artery side injection.

Objectives The aim of the study was to establish a mouse model of endometriosis , and to observe the effects of endometriosis on the reproductive ability in the mice .Methods The mouse models of endometriosis was estab-lished by subcutaneous and intraperitoneal injection of heterogenous endometrium .The pregnancy rate and live embryo number in the experimental , sham operation and blank groups were observed and compared , and the effects of endometrio-sis on reproductive ability of the mice were evaluated .Results Two weeks after the establishment of the mouse model of endometriosis , there were lesions in the peritoneal cavity and subcutaneous tissue of the mice .Compared the pregnancy rates among the model group , sham operation group and blank group , the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05).Compared the live embryo number in the three groups , there were also significant differences (P<0.05).Con-clusions A mouse model of endometriosis is successfully established , and it demonstrates that endometriosis may affect the reproductive ability of mice .

Objective To observe the effect of CYP4F2(rs2108622)polymorphism on the dose of warfarin in old patients(65 to 75 years old)who were treated with atrial fibrillation.Methods Sixty cases of old patients with atrial fibrillation were enrolled in the study.All the subjects had taken warfarin for 3 months,and the international normalized ratio(INR)maintained between 1.6 and 2.5.And the CYP4F2(rs2108622)variant were detected by PCR.Results The patients with CYP4F2(rs2108622)allele C/C scored significantly lower warfarin dose than patients with variant allele C/T and T/T (P < 0.05 ).Conclusion CYP4F2 (rs2108622)gene polymorphism have been related with warfarin dose in old patients.

Objective:To explore significance of brain natriuretic peptide (BNP)and N terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP)for diagnosis of acute respiratory distress syndrome and its guidance of treatment.Methods:A total of 124 cases with definite organic heart disease and sudden respiratory distress syndrome (measurement group) received measurement of BNP and NT-proBNP to judge whether they suffered from heart failure or not.Another 110 patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome but no receiving BNP and NT-proBNP measurement were en-rolled as no measurement control group.Relevant data,including diagnosis time,length of hospital stay,hospitali-zation cost and mortality rate etc,were collected in all patients.Results:Compared with no measurement control group,there were significant reductions in diagnosis time [(24.2±6.4)min vs.(16.3±5.2)min],length of hospi-tal stay [(12.5±3.5)d vs.(8.5±4.5)d]and mortality rate (8.18% vs.4.84%)in measurement group,P<0.05 all;there was no significant difference in mean hospitalization cost between two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:Measurement of brain natriuretic peptide and N terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide possesses important value for early diagnosis,elevating therapeutic effect and improving prognosis in patients with acute respiratory distress syn-drome.
