1.Results analysis of Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum detection in patients with cervical erosion

Objective To investigate the current infection situation of Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) and Ureaplasma urealyticum (Uu) in patients with cervical erosion .Methods CT and Uu were detected in cervical secretions of 562 cases of cervical erosion pa‐tients (observation group) and 218 healthy controls (control group) .Drug susceptibility testing was performed for the patients with Uu infection .Results Positive rate of CT ,Uu and mixed infection was 20 .11% ,42 .35% and 9 .61% ,higher than those of control group (P<0 .05) .The difference of the positive rate between moderate cervical erosion and severe cervical erosion was not signifi‐cant (P>0 .05) ,while the positive rate of CT ,Uu and mixed infection was significantly different between the two groups and mild cervical erosion (P<0 .05) .The highest susceptibility rate of Uu to antimicrobial agents was josamycin (91 .78% ) ,followed by pristinamycin (84 .25% ) .The highest resistant rate of Uu was to ciprofloxacin (85 .96% ) ,followed by ofloxacin(73 .29% ) .Conclu‐sion The infection of CT and Uu could be intimate correlated with cervical erosion and the extent of erosion .Varying degrees of drug resistance of Uu could be found ,and the sensitive and effective antibiotics should be chosen to treat cervical erosion infection of Uu .
2.Flavanone O-glycosides from the rhizomes of Dryopteris sublaeta

The aim of this study was to look for the chemical constituents from the rhizomes of Dryopteris sublaeta. The fresh plant was extracted twice with boiling water, the extract was concentrated to small volume under reduced pressure at 50 ℃. The concentrated material was partitioned with ether, ethyl acetate and n-butanol. The fraction of ethyl acetate was repeatedly chromatographied over silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 columns. Structures of pure compounds were established on the basis of their physiochemical and spectral data. Nine compounds were obtained and identified as sublaetentin A (1), sublaetentin B (2), sublaetentin C (3), sublaetentin D (4), matteuorienate A (5), matteuorienate C (6), arbutin (7), 3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl-1-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (8) and 3,4-dimethoxyphenyl-1-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (9). Compounds 1-4 are new compounds, the others were isolated from this plant for the first time.
3.A new stilbene glycoside from Dryopteris sublaeta

Aim To study the chemical constituents of Dryopteris sublaeta Ching et Hsu. Methods Fresh plant of Dryopteris sublaeta Ching et Hsu was extracted twice with boiling water, concentrated to small volume under reduced pressure at 50 ℃. The concentrated material was partitioned with ether, ethyl acetate, and n-butanol. The fraction of ethyl acetate extract was chromatographed over macroporous adsorption resin (Diaion HP-20) eluted with a mixture of H2O and MeOH in increasing MeOH content.Their fractions from resin were repeatedly chromatographed over Toyopearl HW-40, Sephadex LH-20 and silica gel column chromatography. The compounds were identified on the basis of their physiochemical and spectral data. Results Four compounds were obtained and identified as 3,5-dihydroxy-stilbene-3-O-neohesperidoside ( 1 ), 3,5-dihydroxy-stilbene-3-O-β-D-glucoside ( 2 ), polydotin peceid (3) and 3,5,4'-trihydroxy-bibenzyl-3-O-β-D-glucoside (4). Conclusion Compound 1 is a new compound, the others were isolated from Dryopteris for the first time.
4.A new flavanone from Dryopteris sublaeta

Results Four compounds were obtained and identified as 2 (S)-5,7, 3'-trihydroxy-6,8-dimethy1-5'-methoxyflavanone ( 1 ), matteucinol ( 2 ), desmethoxymatteucinol ( 3 ) and 5,7,2'-trihydroxy-6,8-dimethy1-flavanone (4). Conclusion Compound 1 is a new one, the others were isolated from Dryopteris for the first time.
5.Clinical diagnostic analysis of simpson intracranial malignant meningioma in 29 cases

Objective To explore the methods for diagnosis and treatment of malignant meningioma.Methods The clinical data of twenty-nine patients with malignant meningioma were retrospectively analyzed.Results Among the 29 patients,15 underwent Simpson Ⅰ resection,8 underwent Simpson Ⅱ resection and 6 had Simpson Ⅲ resection.Among these patients,Twenty-five cases were successfully followed up for 20-100 months.There are 11 cases who occurred relapse (44%),of whom 2 received Simpson Ⅰ resection,3 received Simpson Ⅱ resection and all the 6 cases receiving Simpson Ⅲ cases.Conclusion Head CT and MRI examination is helpful to diagnose malignant meningioma.The treatment mainly involved surgical resection combined with radiation and chemotherapy,with high postoperative recurrence rate and short survival time depending on the differentiation of the tumor.
6.The effects of proprioception training and intra-articular injections of sodium hyaluronate on knee osteoarthritis in the elderly

Objective To observe any therapeutic effect of proprioception training and intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate on knee osteoarthritis (KOA) in the elderly.Methods Forty-five patients with KOA were randomly divided into a treatment group (23 cases) and a control group (22 cases).The arthritic knees of both groups were treated with sodium hyaluronate injections,but the patients in the treatment group also received proprioception training.Before treatment,and after 5 weeks and 3 months of treatment,knee function was assessed against Lysholm's assessment standard.Results There was no significant difference in the average Lysholm scores of the two groups before treatment.After 5 weeks and 3 months the patients in each group scored significantly higher than before treatment.After 3 months the average score of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group.Conclusion Proprioception training and sodium hyaluronate injections together constitute a useful method to treat KOA in elderly patients.
7.Surface functional electrical stimulation combined with electroacupuncture in treating neurogenic bladder after the spinal cord injury

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of surface functional electrical stimulation combined with electroacupuncture on neurogenic bladder after the spinal cord injury.Methods Forty cases of neurogenic bladder after the spinal cord injury were randomly divided into a control group (n =20) and a combination group (n =20).The combination group was treated with surface functional electrical stimulation combined with electroacupuncture on the basis of internal urethral catheterization,while the control group was treated with surface functional electrical stimulation on the basis of internal urethral catheterization.The bladder urination was tested using urodynamic study before and after two months of treatment.Results There was no significant difference between the 2 groups in the average maximum bladder capacity,detrusor pressure at filling time,maximal urethral closure pressure,maximum urine flow rate and residual urine volume before the treatment.After the treatment,however,the average maximum bladder capacity,maximal urethral closure pressure and maximum urine flow rate in the combination group were significantly higher than those of the control group,while the average detrusor pressure at filling time and the residual urine volume of the combination group were significantly lower than the control group.Conclusion Surface functional electrical stimulation combined with electroacupuncture could remarkably improve bladder function of patients with the neurogenic bladder after the spinal cord injury.
8.Analysis of characteristics of schistosome cercarial infested water contacts of residents in Poyang Lake endemic areas after operation of Three Gorges Proj-ect

Objective To understand the characteristics of schistosome cercarial infested water contact of residents in Poyang Lake endemic areas after the operation of Three Gorges Project,so as to provide the evidence for formulating a well-directed con-trol strategy. Methods The residents in two villages in schistosomiasis endemic areas were selected and surveyed for their activi-ties of infested water contacts by questionnaire. Results The proportion and frequency of infested water contacts of residents in Poyang Lake region were high and the average rate of infested water contacts was 69.77%,and 98.96%of infested water contacts occurred in spring,summer and autumn. The main ways of infested water contacts were fishing/swimming/playing for adult men, washing clothes/fishing for adult women,and swimming/playing for school children,respectively. The rates of infested water con-tacts were 73.33%,71.63%and 61.87%in adult men,women and school children,respectively. The frequencies of infested water contacts>1 time/week,1 time/week-1 time/month,and<1 time/month were 62.61%,23.74%and 13.66%respectively. Conclu-sions The infested water contacts mainly occurs in spring,summer and autumn,and the main way of infested water contacts was fishing. Farming and mowing grass,which had been the primary way,now become the secondary way for the adult residents.
9.Study on relevance of serum uric acid and lipids and fasting blood glucose levels in the elderly in health examination

Objective To investigate the prevalence of hyperuricemia and its relationship with hy-perlipaemia and hyperglycemia in the elderly .Methods We chose the elderly people whose age were over 60 years and who had routine physical examine during August and September in 2009 , the number of them is 1321.Hyperuricemia is defined as the level of serum uric acid (UA) >416 mmol/L.Hyperlipaemia is defined as the level of serum total cholesterol ( TC)≥5.18 mmol/L; triglyceride ( TG)≥1.70 mmol/L;high-density lipoprotein ( HDL) <1.04 mmol/L and low-density lipoprotein ( LDL)≥3.37 mmol/L.Hy-perglycemia is defined as the level of fasting blood glucose ( FBG)≥6.1 mmol/L.Results There were 344 patients with hyperuricemia accounting for 26.04%.With increasing age , the propotion of the patients with hyperuricemia and the mean levels of UA , TC, TG and LDL respectively showed gradually rising ( P<0.05 respectively).The incidence of hyperlipaemia and hyperglycemia was higher in the hyperuricemia group than those in the controls ( P <0.05 respectively ) .Hyperuricemia in the elderly displayed a positive correlation to TC, TG, LDL and FBG( r =0.9954,0.9805,0.9715,0.9682, P <0.05).Conclusion Hyperuricemia , related with hyperlipaemia as well as hyperglycemia , is common in the elderly and should be paid more attention .
10.The risk factors of deep vein thrombosis in the lower extremities among acute spinal cord injury patients

Objective To identify the risk factors for deep vein thrombosis(DVT) in the lower extremities during hospitalization for acute spinal cord injury(SCI).Methods Retrospective data analyses were performed for 49 SCI patients admitted within a week after they were diagnosed.The patients were divided into a DVT-free(n =40) group and a DVT group(n =9) according to their lower limbs' color Doppler ultrasound results.And the subjects' gender,age,chronic diseases (diabetes,hypertension and hyperlipidemia,etc.),complications (pulmonary infection,urinary tract infections and pressure sores,etc.),the history of cancer,smoking history and lower extremity fractures were recorded.Intermittent pneumatic compression treatment,the early rehabilitation intervention,antithrombotic therapy,history of venous catheterization,operative intervention,blood transfusion history,muscle strength of lower extremity and time from onset to being transfered to rehabilitation department were also recorded Single factor analysis,was conducted,followed by Binary logistic regression to pick out the risk factors for DVT.Results The result of the binary logistic regression analysis showed that gender (OR 6.87 ; 95% CI 1.09-43.22 ;P < 0.05) and intermittent pneumatic compression treatment (OR 12.47 ; 95% CI 1.09-142.36 ; P < 0.05) were significant predictors of DVT.Conclusion Gender and intermittent pneumatic compression treatment are related with DVT risk for patients with acute SCI.
