Objective To compare the postoperative recovery of vaginal and abdominal hysterectomies of non-prolapsed uterus ,in order to offer the advantages, surgical indications and contraindieations ,surgical characteristic and diflieuhy of transvaginal hysterectomies of non-prolapsed uterus. Methods To retrospectively analyze 480 cases transvaginal hysterectomies (TVH) and 440 cases transabdominal hysterectomies (TAH) with similar indications in the corresponding period, and compare the operation duration ,blood lost during the procedure, postoperative analgesic, morbidity, recovery time of the function of intestine, activity time of getting up and hospitalization between those surgi-ca] techniques. Results There were no intraoperation and postoperative complications in group TVH. In group TAH: more blood was lost(P <0.01) ,the function of intestine recovered more slowly(P <0.01) ,more analgesic needed, more morbidity noted (P < 0.01), activity time of getting up is much longer(P < 0.01). The hospital stay after opera-tion was much shorter in group TVH(P <0.01). No statistical difference was found between the two groups in terms of the duration(P 0.05). Conclusion TVH is minimal invasive surgery that include small trauma,reduced pain, no abdomen scar and quick recovery. So the patients are happy to accept it.

In 51 patients with gastrointestinal diseases,diseases,abdondnal X-lay Photos at lying POSition weretaken 6.5 hours after barium ined and 12 healthy volunteers served as coneal. The longitudinal axis,the transverse diameter,the number and the height of colonic bags in the colonic X-ray photes at fillingand evacuating Phases were counted.Chronic colitis was mainly manifested as loose stool, alternation ofconstipation and diarrhea,dyschesia or abdominal pain whenever desire to defecate. The colonic X-rayphotos showed that the diameter and the number of colonic bag in chronic colitis were reduced and the evacuation of barium became accelerated.These colonic X-ray images can explain the pathophysiologicmechasm of the above manifestations and may serve as a kinetic index providing evidence for the clinicaldiagnosis and treatment of the disease.

Two DNA fragments, designated as P190CRI (AA1-55) and P190CRV (AA1597-1667) respectively, which encoded amino acid residues of conserved region I and V on the P190 antigen, were amplified by polymerase chain reaction from genomic DNA in FCC1/HN strain of Plasmodium falcipamm isolated from Hainan Province, China. It was found that there were five bases substitution in the P190CRV, in comparison with the nucleotide sequences of MAD20 strain. These two sequenced fragments were inserted into pGEX-2T plasmid. E.coli JM109 (DE3) were transformed with the recombinant plasmids and the parental plasmid. The results show that the two fragments were expressed at high level as C-terminal fusions with glutathione s-transferase (GST). The fusion proteins were easily purified from bacterial lysates by affinity chromatography using glutathione sepharose 4B.

[Summary]_ This is a pedigree of multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1(MEN1). The proband pursuit medical assistance because of hypertension and weakness. Adrenal cortical carcinoma with possible Cushing's syndrome was diagnosed after a series of tests. During this process, the proband was found to have hypercalcemia, and he was diagnosed as primary hyperparathyroidism. Adrenal carcinoma plus primary hyperparathyroidism suggested MEN1, which was confirmed by MEN1 gene 400_401insC mutation. Pedigree investigation found six additional patients, including one with high parathyroid hormone level and two without clinical evidence of any MEN1 diseases. The proband died of metastatic malignancy 7 months after diagnosis while the other 3 patients with clinically confirmed MEN1 tumor responded well to surgery, including one with adrenal cortical carcinoma.

: To investigate the current status of milk and dairy product intake of primary and middle school students in Guangzhou and to explore the influencing factors, to provide the basis for promoting the consumption of milk and dairy products for students. Methods: Questionnaire survey was conducted among 7 948 students selected from 3 primary schools and 3 middle schools in Guangzhou. The contents included general information, average amount of the intake of milk and dairy products (including pure milk, yoghurt, milk powder, cheese and other dairy products). Using χ2 test and multivariate Logistic regression to analyze the influencing factors of students’ milk and dairy product intake. Results: About 76.12% of all participants reported milk and dairy products intake<7 times/week, 78.88% reported milk and dairy products intake<300 g/d and the median of milk and dairy products was 178.57 g/d. In the multiple Logistic regression model, girls and high school students were more likely to consume milk and dairy products insufficiently, with the OR of 1.42 (95%CI=1.26-1.60), 1.86 (95%CI=1.51-2.28) respectively. The students with father’s education level being college degree or above (OR= 0.75, 95%CI=0.59-0.94), mother’s education level being high school or above (high school:OR=0.75, 95%CI=0.61-0.93, college degree or above:OR=0.58, 95%CI=0.46-0.72) and annual household income ≥200 000 (OR=0.77,95%CI=0.64-0.92) were more likely to consume sufficient milk and dairy products. Conclusion Consumption of milk and dairy products among primary and middle school students in Guangzhou was high but not meet the recommended amount,should be strengthened. Health and nutritional education for students and their parents,especially girls and senior students,should be strengthened to promote the milk and dairy products consumption.

Objective To investigate the effects of the genetic polymorphisms in osteoporosis-related genes and the gene-gene interaction on bone mineral density (BMD) and osteoporotic fractures.Methods Thirty-nine single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) sites in 23 genes that related to bone mineral density ( BMD ) and osteoporotic fractures were scanned in 683 Shanghai Han postmenopausal women.TaqMan SNP Genotyping Assay or Sequenom Mass ARRAY System were applied for genotyping analysis.The relation of these SNP sites with BMD and osteoporotic fractures were analyzed.Results Altogether,12 SNPs in 9 candidate genes ( rs7524102 and rs6696981 in ZBTB40 gene,rs9479055 in ESR1 gene,rs6993813,rs6469804,and rs11995824 in OPG gene,rs3736228 in LRP5 gene,rs1107748 in SOST gene,rs87938 in CTNNB1 gene,rs1366594 in MEF2C gene,rs7117858 in SOX6 gene,and rs10048146 in FOXL1 gene) were associated with BMD at lumbar spine(L1-L4) or total hip.In addition,rs11898505 in SPTBN1 gene was related to osteoporotic fractures ( OR 0.522,95％ CI 0.326-0.838,P =0.007 ).Gene-gene interaction involving rs1038304 in ESR1 gene,rs1366594 in MEF2C gene,and rs10048146 in FOXL1 gene was associated with osteoporotic fractures ( P =0.010 7 ).Conclusions ( 1 ) SNPs in gene ZBTB40,ESR1,OPG,LRP5,SOST,CTNNB1,MEF2C,SOX6,FOXL1,and SPTBN1 are associated with BMD of lumbar spine or total hip,as well as osteoporotic fractures.(2) Gene-gene interaction involving rs1038304,rs1366594,and rs10048146may contribute to the risk of osteoporotic fractures.

Objective: To understand the relationship between screen time and dietary behaviors among urban middle school students in Guangzhou, and to provide scientific evidence for improving students’ health. Methods: Based on the regular medical examinations for elementary and middle school students in Guangzhou, a total of 12 357 middle school students (grade 7 and grade 10) were investigated by using a cross-sectional study. The physical indicators and daily routine were collected by physical examination and questionnaire survey. Multiple Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the association between screen time and dietary behaviors among students. Results: The proportion of excessive screen time was 18.80% (2 323). There was no significant difference between boys (18.52%, 1 165/6 292) and girls (19.09%, 1 158/6 065) (χ2=0.67, P>0.05). Logistic regression results showed that excessive screen time was negatively associated with consumption of vegetables and fruits, with the aORs of 0.50 (95%CI=0.42-0.58) and 0.64 (95%CI=0.58-0.70) respectively, and positively associated with consumption of fried food (OR=1.90, 95%CI=1.70-2.09), western fast food (OR=1.90, 95%CI=1.65-2.19), sweets (OR=1.36, 95%CI=1.25-1.49) and sugar-sweetened beverage (OR=1.70, 95%CI=1.57-1.84). Conclusion Excessive screen time was associated with unhealthy dietary behaviors among middle school students in Guangzhou. Intervention should be tailored to screen time as well as dietary behaviors.

Objective:To provide a promising and optimal laboratory susceptibility-testing method for the clinical usage of antibiotic (polymyxin), four susceptibility-testing methods were performed and the broth microdilution (BMD) was chosen as the gold standard.Methods:A total number of eighty-eight nonduplicate clinical Enterobacteriaceae specimes were collected from January to December of 2019 in the First Affiliated Hospital, Fujian Medical University. Among the clinical specimens, of which six strains were positive for mcr-1. The minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) of polymyxin of the clinical specimens were examined by the following methods: (1) broth microdilution, (2) colistin broth disk elution, (3) Vitek-2?, (4)BD PhoenixTM,(5)commercial broth microdilution. With BMD as reference, essential agreement (EA), categorical agreement(CA), very major error(VME) and major error (ME) of polymyxins for different methods were analyzed. The Kappa-consistency testing, paired Chi-square testing and the Spearman-rank correlation testing were used to analyze the consistency between the four antimicrobial susceptibility testing methods and the gold standard.Results:Taking broth microdilution as reference, the EA of colistin broth disk elution, Vitek-2?, BD PhoenixTM, commercial broth microdilution were 94.32% (83/88), 92.05% (81/88), 90.90% (80/88), and 96.59%(85/88), respectively. The CA of all the four methods were 100% (88/88). No VME and ME were recorded for four methods. Moreover, the consistency between four susceptibility testing methods and the gold standard is acceptable (Kappa values=1, P<0.001, McNemar test P=1 and r>0.5, P<0.05). Conclusions:In the present work, four susceptibility testing methods all met the standards recommended jointly by the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute and European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing, of which the performance of the commercial broth microdilution and CBDE fared relatively well. Thus, these four methods could be routinely used in clinical microbiology laboratory of our hospital for colistin and polymyxin B susceptibility testing.

OBJECTIVE：To reference for the rational use of sodium va lproate in clinic. METHODS ：By retrospective analysis，blood concentration monitoring results of sodium valproate and medical record data in 856 patients were collected from the Affiliated Tianyou Hospital of Wuhan University of Science and Technology during Jan. 2016-Dec. 2018. The dosage form of sodium valproate ，monitoring times of therapeutic drugs ，monitoring results of steady-state blood concentration of sodium valproate up to the standard ，dosage adjustment and the combination with carbamazepin ，fluconazol and carbapenem drugs were analyzed. Fisher exact test was used to analyze the factors influencing the steady-state blood concentration of sodium valproate up to the standard. RESULTS ：A total of 1 270 cases of sodium valproate were monitored in 856 patients，involving 407 males and 449 females，with age of （38.2±13.8）years and body mass of （52.3±10.0）kg. Among 1 270 cases of monitoring ，steady-state blood concentration of sodium valproate in 554 cases were in the range of 50-100 µg/mL，and 43.6％ of which reached the standard. The rate of reaching the standard in patients with multiple monitoring was higher than patients with single monitoring ；the dosage of patients with last monitoring reaching the standard was higher than that of patients with the first monitoring reaching the standard. The rate of reaching the standard in Sodium valproate sustained-release tablet group was higher than general Sodium valproate tablet group；the carbamazepin/fluconazol free group was higher than the carbamazepin combination group and fluconazol combination group；the carbapenem free group was higher than the carbapenem combination group （all P＜0.05）. CONCLUSIONS ：Clinical pharmacists should pay attention to the monitoring of sodium valproate treatment drugs ， strengthen the publicity and 3551851542@qq.com education of patients and their families ，and try to use Sodium valproate sustained-release tablets. When patients additionally receive carbapenem drugs like carbamazepin or fluconazol ， the standard level of sodium valproate will be reduced ，then the dosage of sodium valproate should be adjusted.
