Objective:To study the clinical value of lectin reactive alpha fetoprotein(AFP) detection in primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC) and benign liver diseases.Methods:According to the different affinity with AFP, AFP L 3 was detected by affinity immunoelectrophoresis blotting method, AFP detected by Chemiluminescent Immunoassay.Results:Taking AFP L 3≥15% as the diagnosis criteria of PHC,the sensitivity was 91.1%,the specificity in differential diagnosis in chronical liver diseases was 95.0%,the levels of AFP L 3 has no correlation to serum AFP levels and the sizes of PHC.Conclusion:It is of great clinical value to detect AFP L 3 and serum AFP levels for PHC in early diagnosis and benign differential diagnosis in liver diseases. Objective To investigate the effect of pidotimod granules and Carboxymethyl starch sodium solution in treating children with recurrent respiratory tract infection curative effect and effect on immune function of children.Methods 128 cases of children with recurrent respiratory tract infection in our hospital from June 2013 to June 2016 were selected and divided into treatment group and control group with 64 cases in each group. Children in the control group were treated with Carboxymethyl starch sodium solution, the treatment group was given pidotimod granules on the basis of the control group.Two groups of children were treated for 12 weeks.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared, the changes of immune function before and after treatment, cough, fever, lung rales disappear time, and the incidence of adverse reactions.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group (90.62%) was higher than the control group (75.00%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the levels of IgA, IgM and IgG increased after treatment in both groups, the levels of IgA, IgM and IgG in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the levels of CD3 +, CD4 +and CD4 +/CD8 +increased after treatment in both groups, and the levels of CD3 +, CD4 +and CD4 +/CD8 +in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), the treatment group in children with cough, fever, pulmonary rales disappeared faster than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), two groups were no obvious adverse reactions.Conclusion Pidotimod granules combined with carboxymethyl starch sodium solution in treating children with recurrent respiratory tract infections is effective, and could significantly improve the immune function of children.

OBJECTIVE:To analyze the characteristics and regularity of cross allergic reaction between carbopenems and penicillin.METHODS:2 cases about cross allergic reaction between ertapenem and penicillin were reported,716 cases of cross allergic reaction between carbopenems and penicillin in 9 literatures were collected from databases from Jan.1986 to Jan.2010 and analyzed statistically.RESULTS:The incidence of allergic reactions caused by carbopenems in patients with allergic history were higher than that in patients without allergic history.Allergic reaction mostly occurred within 15 min～49 d.Sound therapeutic efficacy can be achieved because of immediate withdrawal of drug and anti-allergy treatment,patients were with good prognosis.CONCLUSION:Great importance should be attached to monitoring of cross allergic reaction between carbopenems and penicillin and rational use of drugs.

Objective To explore the effects of Tongfu Huayu Daotan Decoction (通化阏导痰汤)on the serum concentration of S-100β protein, neuron-specific enolase(NSE) and Prognosis in patients with severe craniocerebral injury.Methods Sixty patients with severe craniocerebral injury were randomly divided into a a'eatment group and a control group.The treated group was treated with Tongfu Huayu Daotan Decoction plus conventional treatments including dehydration,antibiotics, organ functional support, nerve nutrition, prevention of complication, etc.; the control group was treated with conventional treatments alone. The concentration of serum S-100β protein and neuron-specific enolase(NSE) in plasma at admission and at24, 36, 72huors, and 5, 7 days after treatment were determined respectively; the Glasgow outcome scale (GOS)and neurological deficits scoring at 2weeks and 4weeks after hospitalization were compared to observe the efficacy of the patients. Results The concentration of serum S-100β protein and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) in plasma at previous treatment and at 24, 36 hours after the treatment had no statistical difference in the two groups(P＞0.05 ), The concentration of serum S-100β protein and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) in plasma at 72huors, 5 and 7 days after the treatment in the Tongfu Huayu Daotan Decoction group were lower than those in the control group, the differences being significant (P＜0.01). The Glasgow outcome scale (GOS) and neurological deficits scoring at 2weeks and 4weeks after the treatment in the Tongfu Huayu Daotan Decoction group were significantly nigher than those in the control group, the differences being significant (P＜0.01) .Conclusion Tongfu Huayu Daotan Decoction can alleviate the plasma concentrations of S-100β protein and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) in patients with severe craniocerebral injury and markedly improve the clinical therapeutic effects. Combined Tongfu Huayu Daotan Decoction and western medicine can significantly reduce mortality and improve the Glasgow outcome scale (GOS), neurological deficits scoring and therapeutic effect.

ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation between polymorphism of interleukin(IL)-1β genes and risk and pathological characteristics of gastric cancer in human.MethodsFrom January to December 2010,200 cases of gastric cancer(patient group) and 200 cases of chronic superficial gastritis (control group) were collected.DNA was extracted and IL-1β gene -511,-31,-1473,+3954 site were detected by gene chip technology.The correlation between IL-1β gene -511,-31,-1473,+3954 site and risk and pathological characteristic of gastric cancer was observed.ResultsThe genotype frequency of IL-1β gene -511,-31,-1473,+3954 site was 48.75％(195/400),55.25％(221/400),53.25％(213/400),50.75％ (203/400) in patient group,47.25％ (189/400),53.00％ (212/400),52.50％ (210/400),52.50％ (210/400) in control group,and there was significant difference between two groups (P ＜0.05).While IL-1β gene -511,-31 site T allelic with the lower degree of differentiation of gastric cancer,IL-1 β gene -511,-1473 site T allelic with the early age of gastric cancer.ConclusionsIL-1β gene -511,-31,-1473,+3954 site genotype increase the risk of gastric cancer.IL-1β gene -511,-31 site T allelic are related with the degree of differentiation of gastric cancer.IL-1β gene -511,-1473 site T allelic are related with age of gastric cancer patient.

BACKGROUND: Implantation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) is a potential alternative for promoting bone defects healing or osseointegration in osteoporosis. However, the reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulated and excessive inflammation in the osteoporotic microenvironment could weaken the self-replication and multi-directional differentiation of transplanted BMSCs. METHODS: In this study, to improve the hostile microenvironment in osteoporosis, Poloxamer 407 and hyaluronic acid (HA) was crosslinked to synthetize a thermos-responsive and injectable hydrogel to load MnO2 nanoparticles as a protective carrier (MnO2 @Pol/HA hydrogel) for delivering BMSCs. RESULTS: The resulting MnO2 @Pol/HA hydrogel processed excellent biocompatibility and durable retention time, and can eliminate accumulated ROS effectively, thereby protecting BMSCs from ROS-mediated inhibition of cell viability, including survival, proliferation, and osteogenic differentiation. In osteoporotic bone defects, implanting of this BMSCs incorporated MnO2 @Pol/HA hydrogel significantly eliminated ROS level in bone marrow and bone tissue, induced macrophages polarization from M1 to M2 phenotype, decreased the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines (e.g., TNFa, IL-1b, and IL-6) and osteogenic related factors (e.g., TGF-b and PDGF). CONCLUSION This hydrogel-based BMSCs protected delivery strategy indicated better bone repair effect than BMSCs delivering or MnO2 @Pol/HA hydrogel implantation singly, which providing a potential alternative strategy for enhancing osteoporotic bone defects healing.
