Objective To evaluate the early effect of Wallis interspinous dynamic stabilization system (Wallis system) in treatment of lumbar degenerative disease. Methods From January 2008 to Jan-uary 2009,21 patients(23 intervertebral spaces) with early lumbar disc herniation and lumbar spinal stenosis were treated with Wallis system. Four intervertebral spaces of L_(3-4) 19 intervertebral spaces of L_(4-5). Observed the time of total operation and implantation, the blood loss, and early recovery. The patients' visual analogue scale (VAS) and Oswestry disability index (ODI) scores were evaluated before and after operation. Results All patients were followed up for average (12.5 ± 0.4) months (7-18 months) after operation. The VAS and ODI scores at 7 days after operation dropped from (7.5 ± 1.5), (40.0 ± 2.0) scores before operation to (2.5 ± 0.5), (23.0 ± 1.5) scores (P < 0.01). Conclusion It is safe and easy to use Wallis system in the treatment of lumbar degenerative disease, with the advantage of mini-invasion and early effect.

Background and purpose: Currently endoscopic ultrasonography is clinically accepted for preoperative staging of gastric cancers. Endoscopic raucosai resection (EMR) and endoscopic subraucosal dissection (ESD) have been widely applied in the treatment of early gastric cancer. We need to improve the accuracy of pre-operative staging of gastric cancers, especially of early gastric cancers. This paper was to investigate the clinical significance of high frequency endoscopic ultrasound mini probe (UMP) in the preoperative T-staging of gastric cancer. Methods: Both UMP and MSCT were performed in 63 patients with pathologically proven gastric cancer frora Oct. 2008 to Apr.2009, and the results of UMP and MSCT were compared with surgical pathologic findings. Results: The accuracy of UMP and MSCT in T staging was 82.26% (51/62) and 88.71% (55/62) respectively, and there was no statistical difference (P>0.05). The accuracy of UMP and MSCT for early gastric cancer was 100.00% and 88.89% respectively. The accuracy of UMP and MSCT for advanced gastric cancer was 79.25% and 88.68% respectively. Conclusion: UMP appears to have a substantial diagnostic value for early stage gastric cancer. It is the approach of choice for superficial lesions.

Objective To explore the demographic factors and the risk of the pedicle screw insertion of the narrow pedi?cles. Methods Thoracolumbar spine thin?section CT image data of 312 adults from September 2014 to September 2015 were ana?lyzed. The pedicle width, medial and lateral cortical thickness, spongy bone thickness, spongy bone thickness/cortical thickness, e angle and screw path length of each pedicle were measured. The incidence and the distribution characteristics of the narrow pedi?cle were analyzed. Anatomic parameters and age, gender and stature were compared between the narrow pedicle group and non?narrow pedicle. The risk of the pedicle screw insertion of the narrow pedicle was assessed. Results Among the 3 081 pedicles, 74 narrow pedicles were determined as their pedicles width were less than 5 mm, and the proportion of narrow pedicle was 2.40%. Among the 312 subjects, 26 subjects were found having narrow pedicles, and the proportion of individuals with narrow pedicles in the population was 8.33% (26/312). The incidences of narrow pedicle in thoracolumbar spine were T10 0.32%, T11 0.32%, T12 0.98%, L1 7.54%, L2 2.92%. The spongy bone thickness, spongy bone thickness/cortical thickness of narrow pedicle were lower than non?narrow pedicle. However, there were no significant differences of medial and lateral cortical thickness, e angle and screw path length between the narrow pedicle and non?narrow pedicle. Difference of the mean age between the two subjects groups had no statistical significance. The percentage of female in narrow pedicle subjects group was 84.6%(22/26), which was higher than that in non?narrow pedicle subjects group (49.7%, 142/286). The mean stature of the male and female of stenosis pedicle group subjects were 163.8±1.3 cm and 152.5±4.3 cm, which were shorter than those of non?narrow subjects pedicle group (169.5±5.6 cm, 160.1±6.6 cm). The percentage of the cortical bone breakthrough by the pedicle screws of narrow pedicle group was (84.6%, 27/32), which was higher than that of non?narrow pedicle group (14.7%, 33/224). Conclusion L1 is the most common segment of thoracolumbar spine that narrow pedicle exist, which is the result of reduction of the spongy bone thickness. Narrow pedicle mostly appears in short stature female. There is high risk of cortical bone breakthrough by insertion of the posterior pedicle screws in the narrow pedicle.

The drug cues of multi-sensory have higher reliability and ecological validity, and play a key role in the substance and behavioral addiction. However, the comprehensive discussion on the relation-ship of addiction and the disorder of emotional audiovisual integration was very limited so far. Reviewing re-cent studies on multi-sensory integration of substance and behavioral addictions,it had been found that both two addiction groups had disorders of audiovisual integration, especially the negative emotion. Neuroimaging studies found that the abnormal activation on prefrontal cortical during emotional audiovisual integration com-monly tended to live in substance and behavioral addictions, suggesting that the disorder of emotional audiovi-sual integration for addictions might be related to the weakening of cognitive control. Further improvements of the neural mechanism of emotional audiovisual integration disorder of addictions,as well as the more ecologi-cally predictive indicators and clinical diagnosis criteria are needed.

Objective To analyze the genetic characteristics of VP1-VP4 genes carried by cox-sackievirus A6 (CVA6) strains isolated from severe cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) in Shenzhen during 2012 to 2015. -ethods The VP1-VP4 genes of CVA6 strains isolated from severe HFMD cases in Shenzhen during 2012 to 2015 were amplified and sequenced. Phylogenetic analysis was performed to analyze the VP1-VP4 genes of CVA6 isolates and sequences downloaded from GenBank by using DNASTAR6. 0 and MEGA6. 02 software packages. Results Four cases of severe HFMD were caused by CVA6 in Shenzhen during 2012 to 2015. All of the patients had the symptom of fever, skin rash and aseptic encephalitis. The CVA6 strain causing severe HFMD in 2013 shared 98. 8%-98. 9% homology in nucleotide sequences and 99. 3%-99. 8% in amino acid sequences with the strains isolated in 2012. Two amino acid mutations were found in the CVA6 strain isolated in 2013, which were G73E in VP2 region and S13G in VP1 region. However, the CVA6 strain isolated in 2015 only shared 95. 0% homology in nucleotide sequences and 99. 3% homology in amino acid sequences with the strain isolated in 2013. Six amino acid mutations were identified including E73G in VP2 region and T5A, S27N, A30V, N137S and V242I in VP1 region. The phylogenetic analysis revealed that the four CVA6 strains belong to D3 sub-genotype. The CVA6 strains causing severe cases in 2012 had the nearest genetic relationship with the strain isolated in Changsha in 2012 (KJ156349). The CVA6 strain isolated in Shenzhen in 2013 had the nearest genetic relationship with the strain isolated in Shanghai in 2013 (KJ612513). The Shenzhen CVA6 isolate in 2015 showed high similarity to Weifang CVA6 isolate in 2014 (KX752785). Conclusions All CVA6 strains causing severe HFMD ca-ses in Shenzhen during 2012 to 2015 belongs to D3 sub-genotype. Mutations of S27N and A30V in the VP1 region of the CVA6 isolate in 2015 are located in the B cell epitopes. In addition, the VP1-V242I mutation in the CVA6 strain isolated in 2015 is located in the binding site of PSGL-1 receptor. These mutations may affect the binding of CVA6 strains to the cellular receptors and their infectivity to people.
