ncreased. But it remains controversial how vaspin is correlated with insulin sensitivity. More studies based on large population are needed to identify the associ-ation between vaspin and insulin sensitivity.

Objective To explore and compare the effect of sevoflurane and disoprofol to inflammatory factors in patients received abdominal surgeries. Methods Patients with sevoflurane and disoprofol respectively were anaesthetized and detected IL-6,IL-8,IL-10 and TNF-α in their serum at T1 (when anesthesia induction),T2 (after anesthesia induction),T3 (30min after beginning of operations) and T4 (after operations). Results Compared with T1,the serum level of IL-6,IL-8,IL-10 and TNF-α increased significantly in all patients(all P < 0.05) ; Compared with disoprofol group, the serum level of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α increased significantly (all P < 0.05) ; Compared with sevoflurane group, the serum level of IL-10 increased significantly(all P < 0.05).Conclusion Intravenous anesthesia with disoprofol in patients receiving abdominal operations is proper for maintenance of inflammatory balance.

International Journal of Surgery 2012;39(7):485-488
MicroRNA (miRNA) is a class of endogenous,single-stranded non-coding small RNA that contains 21 to 23 nucleotides and is widely distributed in eucaryon,miRNA plays an important regulatory role in cell proliferation, apoptosis, growth and development through the regulation of gene translation after transcription and expression,miRNA has a close relationship with pathogenesis and development of hepatocellular carcinoma. And in this process, part of miRNA acts as oncogenes or tumor suppressor genes.A number of miRNA,such as miR-30d,miR-221,miR-222 and miR-101,had been found to express abnormally in hepatoeellular carcinoma. Here we summarize the related progress in research of miRNA and hepatocellular carcinoma.

Objective To investigate the correlation among HBV infection models,HBV Pre-S1 antigen and HBV DNA loads in serum and to provide evidence for the diagnosis and treatment of hepatitis B.Methods Hepatitis B markers,HBV Pre-S1 antigen and HBV DNA loads in serum samples were detected simultaneously for 1037 cases. Results The positive rate of HBV Pre-S1 antigen was higher in HBsAg,HBeAg and HBcAb positive model than that in other models(P0.05).Conclusion The quantitative detection of HBV DNA is important for the prevention of HBV infection. The combination assay of serum HBV markers,Pre-S1 antigen and HBV DNA load was beneficial to the monitoring of disease condition of hepatitis B and to the improvement of therapeutic effect.

Journal of Clinical Neurology 1993;0(03):-
Objective To study the clinical and imaging features of paraneoplastic limbic encephalitis (PLE). Methods The clinical, latoratorial and imaging information of two patients with clinically diagnosed PLE associated with invasive thymoma or lung cancer are reported. Results Two cases had typical findings in clinical symptoms ( severe neuropsychological deficits, disorientation, memory impairment and seizures) and MRI showed ( abnormal high-signal intensity in hippocampal formations and temporal lobe on T2-weighted imagings) , One patient was investigated by cerebral 18 F-fluoro-2-deoxy-D- glucose- positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) , and highly significant focal hypermetabolism in bilateral temporal and other areas was found. Conclusion The clinical and imaging examination are the improtant method for the diagnosis of PLE.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(11):-
To evaluate the inhibitory effects of fas gene transduction on oesophageal cancer cells in vitro, the eukaryotic expression vector fas pBK was constructed and transfected into oesophageal carcinoma cells EC109. Western blot results showed high expression of Fas protein in gene transfected cells Fas EC109. Cell growth curve and plating efficiency test revealed that Fas EC109 had longer population doubling time and lower plating efficiency compared with control cells. Results of MTT assay showed increased sensitivity of Fas EC109 cells to CDDP, VCR and 5 FU. All these data suggested that transgenic expression of fas gene could effectively inhibit the proliferation and increase the drug sensitivity of oesophageal carcinoma cells in vitro.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(12):-
Aim To study the mechanisms of protective effects of extract of astragalus against focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats. Methods Focal cerebral ischemia was induced by intraluminal thread occlusion of middle cerebral artery. Immunohistochemistry was used to determine expression of TNF-?,IL-1? was measured by radioimmunity, and the apoptosis was observed by TUNEL. Results EA(20、40、80 mg?kg -1,ig)could decrease the expression of TNF-? and the level of IL-1? and reduce cell apoptosis. Conclusion EA has inhibitory action on the increase in the expression of TNF-?,the level of IL-1? and the apoptosis of neurons induced by focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2001;0(01):-
Objective To construct the genes expression profile database of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) mice model and to screen the high candidate genes with microarray analysis. Methods Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) products on behalf of 4 096 genes from mixed mice tissue library were assembled on the modified Oako glass slide. The general RNA from 6 EAE mice model and 6 normal mice head was transcripted into cDNA by RT-PCR and labelled with cy-3 and cy-5.6 groups each consist one EAE mice and a control. These two probes were mixed and hybridized with the above mentioned gene chips. Scan array 4000 was used for scanning the hybridizing signals and GenePixPro 3.0 for date analysis. Results Of the total 4 096 genes monitored, 43 genes in group one showed changes in expression level of the ratio outside 0.5 and 2, 30 genes differed in group two, 176 genes changed in group three, 76 in group four, 294 in group five and 129 in group six. Conclusions The results showed the consistent different genes expression throughout the EAE mice model. The genes related to immune, cell structure, cell cycle, ion channel, signal transduction, protein synthesis and metabolism are involved in EAE pathogenesis. The results provide deeper insights into the mechanism of EAE and multiple sclerosis.
