Objective To analyze the incidence and related risk factors of hyperuricemia after liver transplantation. Methods A total of 286 cases undergoing liver transplantation from 2009 to 2012 in the Armed Police General Hospital , who had normal uric acid before transplantation and had been followed up for more than 1 year, were enrolled in this study. The clinical data, including liver and kidney function , blood glucose, and lipids were collected .The potential risk factors of hyperuricemia were analyzed .Results 53.5% cases ( 153/286)had hyperuricemia after transplantation.Hyperuricemic patients were predominately older (P =0.038). They also had a higher prevalence of increasing creatinine (P=0.000),and hyperlipidemia(P=0.000).Among female cases, hyperuricemic patients had a higher average BMI (P=0.027).Hyperuricemia group had an elevat-ed ratio of blood lipids 60.1%(92/153), higher than normal uric acid group (39.1%,52/133) ( P<0.05). Conclusions Liver transplantation recipients have a higher incidence of hyperuricemia , particularly in elderly and overweight female patients .Our findings suggest that postoperative hyperuricemia may be associated with high serum creatinine, elevated blood lipids. We should strengthen follow-up, take early detection and early treat-ment.

Objective To study the association of liver fat content (LFC) with insulin resistance and β cell function. Methods One hundred and nine subjects including 31 cases with impaired glucose regulation (IGR), 31 newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes (NT2DM) and 47 normal controls (NC) with normal metabolic parameters were involved in the study. LFC was measured by 1H magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H MRS) and the insulin resistance and β cell function were evaluated by oral 75 g glucose tolerance test. Results (1 ) LFCs were3.83% (2.35% ~7.59% ) ,12. 82% (8.10%~21.37%), and 21.99% (11.89%~34.43%), being progressively raised in the respective NC, IGR, NT2DM groups(P<0.01). (2) The subjects were divided into four subgroups according to LFC Quartile: Quartile 1 (LFC<4. 04% ) , Quartile 2(4. 04% ≤LFC<9. 77% ), Quartile 3 (9.77% ≤LFC<20.78% ) ,and Quartile 4( LFC≥20.78% ). Homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) values were elevated significantly and progressively starting from Quartile 2(P<0. 01). (3) Insulin from 0 to 30 min ( △I30), the ratio of insulin from 0 to 30 min to glucose from 0 to 30 min ( △I30/ △G30) , C peptide from 0 to 30 min (△CP30) had a trend of increase in Quartile 2,then trended to decrease in Quartile 3. In Quartile 4, △CP30 and △I30/△G30 sharply decreased (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The ratio of C peptide from 0 to 30 min to glucose from 0 to 30 min ( △CP30/△G30) began to decrease from Quartile 3 (P<0. 05). The ratio of area under curve of C peptide to area under curve of glucose (CPAUC/GAUC) was significantly decreased from Quartile 3(P<0.05). From Quartile 3,glucose level became abnormally elevated to impaired fasting glucose and impaired glucose tolerance (P<0.01). (4) LFC was positively correlated with HOMA-IR (rs =0. 618 ,P<0.01), but was negatively correlated with △CP30(rs =-0.282), △CP30/△G30(rs = -0. 404), and CPAUC/GAUC(rs = -0. 308,all P<0.01). (5) Stepwise regression analysis demonstrated that LFC was the strongest predictor of HOMA-IR. Conclusions When LFC accumulated to 4% , insulin resistance occurred and the early phase of insulin secretion was compensatively increased. As the LFC further accumulated to 10% , both the early phase as well as β cell function in whole were deteriorated, and hyperglycemia developed.
3.Influence of WeChat official account platform on continuing medical education for medical professionals
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2022;21(8):1059-1063
Objective:To explore the role of WeChat official account platform (WOAP) in knowledge acquisition for medical professionals (MPs), and to provide a new way for continuing medical education. Methods:With the help of the "Tencent Questionnaire" platform, an electronic version of the questionnaire was designed, which was sent to the MPs through "Spine Jizhu" WOAP, and forwarded by WeChat groups and friends circle. The survey included the general information of MPs, the evaluation on "Spine Jizhu" WOAP and the influence of medical WOAP on their knowledge acquisition. The questionnaires were collected and analyzed descriptively. Results:A total of 901 valid questionnaires were recovered, and 91.9% (828) of the MPs chose the rest time as the most suitable push time, with the most choice from 18: 00 to 21: 00, and the most push frequency of "twice a week"; 97.3% (877) of MPs selected "very satisfied" or "relatively satisfied" for the overall evaluation of "Spine Jizhu" WOAP; MP rated the quality of articles pushed by "Spine Jizhu" WOAP with a score of (8.5±1.4); 79.1% (713) of MPs followed 5 or more medical WOAPs, and most of them valued the quality and reliability of the pushed contents; 92.7%(835) of MPs believed that the medical WOAP was "very helpful" and "relatively helpful" in enhancing their professional knowledge. In terms of access to the latest professional knowledge, 68.4%(616) of MPs chose "WOAP pushed articles", while only 18.4%(166) of MPs chose "traditional paper media (periodicals, magazines, newspapers and books)".Conclusion:WOAP is aimed at followed people and pushes original articles at a fixed time and frequency to help MPs to acquire knowledge and provide a new supplementary form for continuing medical education.
