This paper introduces the concept, characteristics and applications of fault tolerant technique, which can ensure high availability of network server.

Objective To evaluate the effect of octreotide on the survival of patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods Electronic databases searches were conducted.Meta-analysis of all randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing octreotide versus placebo or no treatment was performed.Results Five RCTs including 579 patients with HCC wers assessed.Meta-analysis of the five studies showed that octreotide had no significant effect on the 6,12 and 24 months survival rates of the patients(6months:OR=1.69,95%CI 0.89-3.21,P=0.11;12 months:OR=2.41,95%CI 0.83-6.93,P=0.10;24months:OR=0.58,95%CI 0.28-1.17,P=0.13).To perform the sensitivity analysis,the blank study,the trial detecting somatostatin receptor expression,the study with short survival or the two trials with short follow-up intervals were excluded,and the results also showed that the octreotide treatment had no significant effect on the 6 and 12 months survival rates.A sensitivity analysis based on two trials indicated that the 24months survival rate of the octreotide group was even lower than that of the control group(OR=0.51,95% CI0.27-0.98,P=0.04).Conclusions This Meta-analysis demonstrates that octreotide could not improve the survival of patients with advanced HCC.The administration of octreotide should not be recommended for the treatment of advaneed HCC.

Through the collection of Practice of acupuncture and moxibustion written by CHEN Jingwen, the acupuncture master in the Republic of China, the academic characteristics on acupuncture and moxibusiton were analyzed. The literature comparison method was adopted to compare the works of LUO Zhaoju, ZENG Tianzhi and LI Wenxian, etc. at the same period. It was discovered that CHEN Jingwen was the medical master who systematicly brought up the theory of acupoint properties earlier in the modern times. Classifying drugs based on acupoints was his academic feature. Additionally, the compatibility therapy of Chinese medicine was introduced to explain the essential ideas on the acupoints combination. The treatment was determined on the basis of zangxiang theory and the reinforcing and reducing therapy of acupuncture was emphasized in the determination of treatment and prescription. CHEN Jingwen's theory of acupoint property had been stressed and spread among the medical scholars in the Republic of China and he had made the beneficial exploration for the development of modern acupuncture and moxibustion therapy.

Objective To investigate the clinical and imaging characteristics of tumor like inflammatory demyelinating disease of CNS, We have analyzed the reason of misdiagnosis, and summed up the main point of differential diagnosis.Methods We have analyzed 14 cases which were confirmed as demyelinating disease in pathology after the operation, and all the clinical and image data were included.Results CNS inflammatory demyelinating disease could present edema and mass effect by CT or MRI, there was ring potentialization after enhancement, it was difficulty to distinguish from CNS demyelinating disease. All the 14 patients were misdiagnosis as CNS tumor before the operation.Conclusion CNS inflammatory demyelinating disease could have some atypical representation on CT or MRI image, they were made easily the misdiagnosis. We should get the differential diagnosis by many ways including clinical manifestation, course, laboratory examination and imaging characteristics.

Purpose: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect in the treatment of enuresis by ginger-partitioned moxibustion plus cupping therapy. Methods: Ginger-par -titioned moxibustion was applied on Guanyuan (CV 4)and bilateral Zusanli (ST 36) and cupping therapy was applied on Shenque (CV 8) in the treatment of 82 cases of enuresis, in comparison with 76 cases treated by Chinese herbal medicine. Results: The effective rate was 84.1% in the treatment by ginger-partitioned moxibustion plus cupping therapy and was 64.5% in the treatment by Chinese herbal medicine. Conclusion: Ginger-partitio -ned moxibustion plus cupping therapy was better than Chinese herbal medicine in the treatment of enuresis (P ＜0.05).

Objective To explore the clinical significance of serum total bile acid (TBA) test in evaluation of the prognosis of posthepatitis cirrhosis.Methods 92 patients with posthepatitis cirrhosis were selected as the observation group,and divided into A,B,C groups according to the Child-Pugh grades.32 healthy people were selected as the control group.The level of serum TBA was detected and compared.Results The level of TBA in the observation group was (84.26 ±49.03) μmol/L,which was higher than that in the control group[(3.52 ± 2.67) μmol/L](t =17.53,P ＜ 0.01).The level of TBA was gradually increased in Child-Pugh grade A,B,C grade,and the differences were statistically significant (t =3.84,6.21,5.49,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion TBA test is benefit for the diagnosis and prognosis of posthepatitis cirrhosis.

Objective To observe clinical effect of traumatic patellar dislocation treated with integrative traditional Chinese and western.Methods 103 patients with traumatic patellar dislocation were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group.The treatment group was given the therapy of traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine,while the control group was treated only with western medicine.After 3 months'treatment,observed it's the clinical effect.Results Efficacy of the treatment group was obviously higher than the control group,with a significant difference (P＜0.05).Conclusion The integrative traditional Chinese and western medicine exerts a better effect than the sole therapy of western medicine.

Objective To discuss the effect of psychological intervention on prevention of posloperation infection in patients with breast cancer .Methods 336 patients with breast cancer after operation were divided into the control group and the intervention group with 168 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing while the intervention group Was given psychological intervention based upon routine nursing.The incidence of postopemtion infection was observed in the two groups.Results Incidenc of infection took place in 27 patients(8.04%)among 336 cases.The incidence rate infection in the control group was 12.50%,which was evidently higher than that of the intervention group(3.57%),x2=9.06,P＜0.01.The infection location and time in the intervention group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion Psychological intervention could reduce the incidence rate of posteperation infection in patients with breast cancer.

Objective To systematically review the efficacy of ilaprazole in duodenal ulcer by Meta analysis.Methods Randomized controlled trial (RCT) comparing ilaprazole with other proton pump inhibitors in duodenal ulcer were searohed for Meta analysis.Results Six RCT met the inclusion criteria and 1319 patients were included.Meta analysis showed that the healing rate at 4-week in the dose of ilaprazole 10 mg/d was higher than that in control group [ 89.1％ (591/663 ) vs.86.4％ (426/493) ],but there was no significant difference (P＞ 0.05 ).When including high-quality literature,English literature,Chinese literature,or the literature using omeprazole as control,there was no significant difference either (P ＞ 0.05 ).The adverse rate in the two groups had no significant difference [ 9.7％ (64/663) vs.12.6％ (62/493)] (P ＞0.05 ).The 4-week healing rate between the doses of ilaprazole 5 mg/d and 10 mg/d had no significant difference [84.7％(138/163) vs.84.0％(131/156)](P＞0.05).Conclusions Ilaprazole has high healing rate for duodenal ulcer,with low adverse rate.The effect of the dose ot5 mg/d is comparable to 10 mg/d.

Objective To study the clinical characteristics and differential diagnosis of Miller-Fisher syndrome (MFS) and Bickerstaff's brainstem encephalitis (BBE).Methods The clinical data of 12 patients with diagnosis of MFS and 15 patients with diagnosis of BBE were analyzed retrospectively.Results In MFS group, the patients showed diplopia (12 cases), loss of pupillary light reflex (3 cases), peripheral facial paralysis (7 cases), hydroposia bucking (1 case), weakness of limbs (6 cases), sensory disability (4 cases) and ataxia (10 cases). In BBE group, the patients presented with diplopia (11 cases), central facial palsy (4 cases), tinnitus (4 cases), hydroposia bucking (6 cases), weakness of limbs (10 cases), sensory disability (2 cases), ataxia (10 cases), somnolence or coma (5 cases) and positive Babinski's sign (9 cases). CSF examination showed elevation of protein in 10 patients from BBE group and 10 patients from MSF group, however, leucocytosis was found in 6 cases from BBE group and 2 cases from MSF group. There were 4 patients of MFS and 1 patient of BBE with abnormal results of electromyogram (EMG) examination. 6 patients in BBE group had abnormal results of CT or MRI examinations, and the lesions mainly located in brainstem, thalamus and so on. Both groups had good prognosis after therapies. Conclusions MFS and BBE have similar and overlapped clinical characteristics. This indicates that these two diseases are closely related and may form a continuous spectrum. The main identifications of BBE are conscious disturbance, positive reflex of Babinski's sign and abnormal imaging results in some patients.
