1.Analysis of 58 cases of laparoscopic myomectomy or hysterectomy

Objective To explore the clinical value of myomectomy and hysterectomy under laparoscope.Methods Fifty-eight cases of gynecological laparoscopic surgery were analyzed retrospectively,including 30 cases of myomectomy and 28 cases of classical intrafascial supracervical hysterectomy(CISH) or laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy(LAVH). Results The laparoscopic operation was successfully completed in all the 58 cases.The operation time was 89.4?12.1 min for myomectomy and 108.5?10.2 min for hysterectomy.On the second postoperative day,the decrease rate of hemoglobin was 11.3%?3.3% and 14.2%?3.2%.The length of hospital stay was 5.6?0.2 d and 6.6?0.5 d.Postoperative follow-up in the 58 cases for 3~17 months(mean,11.4 months) found 2 cases of complications(3.4%). Conclusions Laparoscopic myomectomy and hysterectomy offers little invasion and rapid recovery.
2.Correlation between C-JUN activation domain binding protein 1 and P27~(kip1) in ovarian cancer cell HO-8910

Objective To investigate the expression and relationship of Jab1 and P27kip1 in ovarian cancer cell HO-8910. Methods Cells were treated with serum starvation and release.The expression and distribution of Jab1 and P27kip1 were detected by western blot and subcellular fractionation.HO-8910 cells were transfected in vitro with pcDNA3.1-MYC-Jab1.Western blot as well as subcellular fractionation was used to detect the expression and localization of P27kip1.Results The growth of HO-8910 cells was blocked by serum starvation.P27kip1 increased while Jab1 decreased.The reverse changes were found after serum release.P27kip1 and Jab1 could form compound in HO-8910 cells detected by immunoprecipitation.48h after transfected by pcDNA3.1-MYC-Jab1,the expression of P27kip1 decreased and the distribution of P27kip1 translocated from nucleus into cytoplasma in HO-8910.Conclusion Jab1 may control the location and expression of P27kip1 through integrating with P27kip1,and participate in regulating the growth of ovarian cancer cells through interfering with the function of P27kip1.
3.Report of 9 cases of pelvic abscess complicated with septic shock

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics,diagnosis and treatment of pelvic abscess complicated with septic shock.Methods The clinical symptoms,laboratory tests,surgical procedures,and prognosis were analyzed retrospectively for 9 patients with pelvic abscess complicated with septic shock.All the patients were treated in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from August 2009 to March 2017.Results High fever and abdominal pain were reported in all the 9 patients,associated with hypotension,cardiac,pulmonary and renal dysfunction,and other symptoms.Eight patients were referred to ICU after early volume resuscitation,antimicrobial treatment,surgery or puncture.These 8 patients finally survived.The remaining one patient experienced multiple organ failure,disseminated intravascular coagulation,and extensive bleeding during treatment,and died finally.Conclusions Early diagnosis,adequate volume resuscitation,antimicrobial therapy,appropriate vasoactive drugs,and timely surgical removal of abscess are important for improving the survival of patients with pelvic abscess and septic shock.
4.Low-frequency electrical stimulation relieves pain and promotes gastrointestinal function recovery after gynecological laparotomy

Objective To observe the effect of low-frequency electrical stimulation on the rehabilitation of pa-tients after gynecological abdominal surgery.Methods Sixty-three patients who underwent open surgery in gy-necology department of Taixing Clinical College of Bengbu Medical College from June 2021 to July 2022 were selected.The patients were randomly divided into control group(31 cases)and a low-frequency electrical stimulation group(32 cases).The low-frequency electrical stimulation group was subjected to stimulation with-in the patient′s tolerable range once a day for 30 minutes each time,and the intensity of each stimulation was adjusted based on clinical situation.The control group selected the same acupoints and pasted electrodes,connected to the treatment device but no electrical stimulation.The electrode strip was removed after 30 minutes,then re-cord the postoperative Visual Analog Scale(VAS)score as well as the time from the end of the surgery to the first discharge and defecation.Results The VAS score at 48 hours after surgery showed a low degree of pain in the low-frequency electrical stimulation group(3.6±1.2)compared to that in control group(4.5±1.4);After 72 hours of surgery,the VAS score was lower in the low-frequency electrical stimulation group(1.7±0.9)compared to the control group(3.3±1.4),indicating a lower degree of pain.The first exhaust time(26.9±6.7)h vs.(35.5±13.0)h was shorter in the low-frequency electrical stimulation group;The first bowel movement time(49.0±5.4)h vs.(64.4±13.8)h was shorter in the low-frequency electrical stimula-tion group compared to the control group.Conclusions Low frequency electro-physiological stimulation can alleviate post-operative pain and shorten exhaust and defecation time in patients undergoing gynecological open surgery.
