To explore the change and significance of serum levels of corticotropin releasing hormone (CRH),nitric oxide synthase (NOS) and 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) in the pathogenesis of acute carbon monoxide poisoning delayed encephalopathy (DEACMP).The groups of DEACMP (n =42),acute carbon monoxide poisoning (ACOP) (n =40) and normal control (n =40) were selected.The peripheral blood levels of CRH,NOS and 5-HT were measured for acute and convalescent phases of three groups.Information-memory-concentration test (IMCT),activities of daily living (ADL) and Hasegawa's dementia scale (HDS) were used to evaluate the intelligent state of acute and convalescent phases.When DEACMP and ACOP groups in acute phase were compared with normal control group,the serum levels of CRH and NOS significantly increased while the serum level of 5-HT decreased markedly (P ＜ 0.05).And statistically significant difference existed between DEACMP and ACOP groups (P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,the serum levels of CRH and NOS significantly decreased while the serum level of 5-HT increased markedly in DEACMP and ACOP groups in convalescent phase (P ＜ 0.05).The IMCT and HDS scores of acute phase DEACMP group were significantly lower than those of ACOP group while ADL was significantly higher (P ＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of IMCT and HDS increased and ADL decreased in DEACMP group in convalescence (P ＜ 0.05).CRH was correlated positively with NOS (P ＜ 0.05) and negatively with 5-HT (P ＜ 0.05).Hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal cortical axis,NO-NOS system and the presence of 5-HT may be related with the pathogenesis of DEACMP.

Objective To research the determination of hypersensitivity C-reactive protein(Hs-CRP) and cardiac troponin T(Hs-cTnT) in patients with coronary heart disease,and to analyze the correlation with cardiac function.Methods The function of left ventricle and the serum levels of Hs-CRP and Hs-cTnT in 100 patients with coronary heart disease and 50 healthy subjects were detected.Results The function of left ventricle and the serum levels of Hs-CRP and Hs-cTnT were significantly different in patients with coronary heart disease and healthy subjects(P ＜0.01).The function of left ventricle and the serum levels of Hs-CRP and Hs-cTnT were significantly different in coronary heart disease patients with different New York Heart Association class(P ＜ 0.01).The serum levels of Hs-CRP and Hs-cTnT were positively correlated with class of New York Heart Association,left ventricular end diastolic diameter,and negatively correlated with left ventricular ejection fraction and fraction shortening (Absolute value of r:0.536 ～ 0.849,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The serum levels of Hs-CRP and Hs-cTnT significantly increase in patients with coronary heart disease,which is correlated to function of left ventricle,and it can be used as the indicators of cardiac function in patients with coronary heart disease.

Hand,foot and mouth disease was caused by many kinds of enterovirus,while enterovirus 71 (EV71)and coxsackievirus A16(CA16)were prevalent causative agents of this disease,and each various subtypes of EV71 and CA16 were appear alternatively. Early diagnosis is significant for timely treatment and prognosis of children with hand,foot and mouth disease. Now,the laboratory detection methods of the etiology including virus isolation cul-ture,reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction,real - time polymerase chain reaction,reverse transcription loop -mediated isothermal amplification,enzyme - linked immunosorbent assay,neutralization tests. This review will summa-rized the advancement in the research of the etiology and detection method of hand,foot and mouth disease.

Objective:To study the expression of extracellular matrix metalloproteinase (MMP-9) inducer CD147 and MMP-9 protein in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and explore their correlation with invasion, metastasis, and prognosis of HCC.Methods:SP immunohistochemistry was used to evaluate the expression of CD147 and MMP-9 in 83 HCC tissues and 15 normal liver tissues. Results:The positive rate was 73.5% for MMP-9 and 68.7% for CD147, significantly higher than normal tissues (MMP-9: 6.7%;CD147: 0%, P<0.05). Expressions of CD147 and MMP-9 were positively correlated with the tumor size, pTNM stages, differentiation degree, the portal vein cancer embolism, and postoperative recurrence (P<0.05), but not with the patient's age, gender, the serum level of alpha-fetal protein (AFP), and the Child-Pugh grades. Patients with positive expression of CD147 and MMP-9 had shorter survival time than those with negative expression of CD147 and MMP-9. Expression of CD147 was positively related with expression of MMP-9 in HCC tissues.Conclusion:CD147 and MMP-9 had positive correlation with tumor size, pTNM stages, differentiation degree, portal vein cancer embolism, and postoperative recurrence. Detection of the expression of CD147 and MMP-9 may be helpful to make a comprehensive prediction of the prognosis of HCC.

Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) can treat the lesions in asurgical manner and inhibit tumor cell proliferation.Furthermore,it has a character of non-invasive,which shortens the duration of treatment.Although surgery and radiotherapy are the major means for early stage peripheral non-small cell lung cancer,some studies in recent years show that SBRT has certain advantages in local control ratio and adverse reaction compared with radiotherapy,and acquires the similar curative effect with surgery.

The Qirongrunchang Mixture(QRRCM)is a prescription composed of Radix Astragali,Fructus Cannabis,etc.It is effective for habitual constipa- tion and constipation in the aged and the debilitated,It was shown in this study that oral administration of this mixture could accelerate the intestinal movement in mice with yang-deficiency in a dose-dependent manner,and exerted a cathartic effect on mice with eonstipation.It increased the volume of intestinal content in rabbits,but did not influence the absorption of water in the intestines.

[Objective]To evaluate the efficacy of percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP) in managing vertebral compression fractures due to osteoporosis(OVCF).[Method]Thirty-one OVCFs patients (46 vertebrae) undergoing PKP were retrospectively analyzed.In these patients,there were 9 males and 22 females who were from 61 to 78 years old with averaged 68 years,and the injured vertebrae were from T7 to L3.All the patients had plain X-rays and CT scan as well as MR images preoperatively.With all of the patients,local infiltration anesthesia were performed,20 were injected bilaterally while 11 unilaterally.Before and after operarion,the visual analogue scale (VAS) score was estimated and sagittal index(SI) as well as Cobb′s angle of the vertebrae were measured.The data were statistically analyzed with the method of paired t-test.[Result]The duration of follow up after operetion were 6 to 30 months with a mean of 18 months.The VAS score reduced from 8.7 before operation to 2.5 after operation (P

Inflammation plays a key role in the formation of intracranial aneurysm. At present, the pathophysiological processes of intracranial aneurysms are mainly caused by both hemodynamic abnormalities and inflammation. Studies have shown that the inflammatory cels in the intracranial aneurysm wal are mainly mononuclear macrophages, and can secrete various effector molecules, weakening and destroying the structures of the vessel wal . Therefore, the research of the roles of differences played in different subtypes of macrophages and their effector molecules in the pathophysiological processes of intracranial aneurysms wil provide clues for exploring the pathogenesis of intracranial aneurysms and effective targeted therapy.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the determination of the dissolution of Qingyangshen dispersible tablets so as to provide method and parameters for quality control of this kind of tablets.METHODS:With water as dissolution medium in a rotating speed of 100 r?min-1,the dissolution of Qingyangshen dispersible tablets was determined by HPLC at a wavelength of 259 nm.RESULTS:Similar dissolution rates were obtained for 3 batches of Qingyangshen dispersible tablets,with accumulative dissolution rates of all samples at 45 minutes reached above 90%,and a good reproducibility was noted.CONCLUSION:The quality of Qingyangshen dispersible tablets is up to the standard stated in Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2005 Edition).
