Objective To explore the status of early postoperative social relationship quality and hope level in patients with breast cancer and analyze the correlation between them. Method A questionnaire survey was conducted among 100 patients with breast cancer using the social relationship quality scale and Herth hope scale. Results The total score and expected total score of early postoperative social relationship were (47.86±6.10)and (30.81±1.86), respectively. There was a positive correlation between the two groups (r=0.324,P<0.05). Conclusions The quality of social relations in the postoperative patients with breast cancer is positively correlated with the level of hope. Nursing staff should give breast cancer patients hope and strength at the same time, helping them understand and use social relations to improve the quality of life.

In this work, a new method of heart sound signal preprocessing is presented. First, the heart sound signals are decomposed by using multilayer wavelet transform. And then double parameters as thresholds are used in processing each layer after decomposition for denoising. Next, reconstruction of heart sound signals could be done after processing last layer. Four methods, i.e. wavelet transform, Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT), mathematical morphology, and normalized average Shannon energy, were used to extract the envelop of the heart sound signals respectively after reconstruction of heart sounds. All methods were improved in this study. We finally in our study chose 30 cases of raw heart sound signals, which were selected randomly from a database comed from The Clinical Medicine Institute of Montreal, and processed them by using the improved methods. The results were satisfactory. It showed that the extracted envelope with the original signal has a high degree of matching, whether it is a low frequency portion or high frequency portion. Most of all information of heart sound has been maintained in the envelope.

Objective:To observe the changes of glyeemia, urine protein, serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen and glycosylated hemoglobin in diabetic nephropathy rats and treating effects of Xiaokekang. Methods: Streptozotocin (STZ) was abdominally administered and was feeded by high lipid diet to establish diabetic nephropathy model in rats. Animals were divided into three groups: model group, Xiaokekang treatment group and normal group. Changes in glycemia, serum lipids, serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen were measured at the 8th, 12th and 16th week after STZ injection. Glycosylated hemoglobin was measured at the 16th weeks after STZ injection. Results: Glycemia, serum lipids, serum creatinine were higher at the 8th, 12th and 16th week compared with normal group. Serum creatinine was higher at the 12th and 16th week, and glycosylated hemoglobin was also highter than that of the normal group. Xiaokekang reduced these changes. Conclusion: Xiaokekang can reduce glycemia, serum lipids and protect renal function.

Heart sounds are highly valuable to the clinical diagnoses of most cardiovascular diseases, so the analysis of phonocardiographic signals is helpful to diagnosing cardiovascular diseases clinically. Phonocardiographic signals are non-stable, so it is necessary to choose appropriate method in time-frequency analysis. The traditional method such as Fourier Transform is dissatisfactory. Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT) and Matching (MPM) Pursuit Method are both effective methods. They can be used to extract and cluster the characteristics of the signals. By analysis and comparison, the two methods showed the advantages over traditional methods. Additionally, their respective merits and demerits are indicated.

Objective:To optimize the extraction process of Shenghua pills and establish the best method for the TLC identification and the HPLC determination of effective components to provide an effective method and reliable basis for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of Shenghua pills. Methods:TLC was used for the identification of angelica,Rhizoma Chuanxiong and Licorice. Ferulic acid was determined by HPLC,and the separation was performed on an Agilent 5 TC- C18(2)(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm)column using a mixture of methanol-5% acetic acid solution(25 :75) as the mobile phase with the detection wavelength at 322 nm. The flow rate was 1.0 ml·min-1and the column temperature was room temperature. Results:Angelica sinensis(Oliv.) Diels.,Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort. and Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. could be detected by TLC. Ferulic acid was linear within the range of 1.28-20.51 μg·ml-1(r=0.999 9). The average recovery was 98.47% with the RSD of 0.36% (n=6).Conclusion:The method can be used to efficiently extract the active components in Shenghua pills. The method is feasible, accurate and reproducible. It can be used for the quality con-trol of Shenghua pills.

Independent component analysis (ICA) is a novel method developed in recent years for Blind Source Separation. In this paper, the phonocardiogram (PCG) was separated into three components by applying ICA. The basic principle of ICA was introduced in this paper. A fast and robust fixed-point algorithm for ICA was used to analyze PCG signals in this study. The experiments showed that ICA could separate the components of heart sounds from PCG signals successfully.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2017;23(7):912-916
Objective To explore the effect of core self-evaluation on turnover intention of clinical specialized nurses and provide reference for nursing administrators. Methods A total of 220 nurses from Ji'nan City,Shandong Province were selected to conduct a questionnaire survey from April to June 2016. The general nurses' general questionnaire, core self-evaluation scale and turnover intention scale were used to investigate. Results The total score of core self-evaluation of clinical specialized nurses was (36.42±5.86),and the total score of nurse's turnover intention was (15.66±3.48). Age,job title, education background and core self-evaluation had predictions of turnover intention for the nurses. Conclusions Nursing managers should take measures to improve the core self-evaluation of specialist nurses in order to reduce their turnover rate and stabilize the nursing team.

To assess relationships between xanthine oxidase (XOD) and nephropathogenic infectious bronchitis virus (NIBV) infection, 240 growing layers (35 days old) were randomly divided into two groups (infected and control) of 120 chickens each. Each chicken in the control and infected group was intranasally inoculated with 0.2 mL sterile physiological saline and virus, respectively, after which serum antioxidant parameters and renal XOD mRNA expression in growing layers were evaluated at 8, 15 and 22 days post-inoculation (dpi). The results showed that serum glutathione peroxidase and superoxide dismutase activities in the infected group were significantly lower than in the control group at 8 and 15 dpi (p < 0.01), while serum malondialdehyde concentrations were significantly higher (p < 0.01). The serum uric acid was significantly higher than that of the control group at 15 dpi (p < 0.01). In addition, the kidney mRNA transcript level and serum activity of XOD in the infected group was significantly higher than that of the control group at 8, 15 and 22 dpi (p < 0.05). The results indicated that NIBV infection could cause the increases of renal XOD gene transcription and serum XOD activity, leading to hyperuricemia and reduction of antioxidants in the body.
