China Pharmacy 2007;0(25):-
OBJECTIVE:To establish an HPLC method to determine the content of main component in idrocilamide ointment. METHODS: The samples were separated on HP-ODS column with column temperature maintained at room temperature. The mobile phase consisted of methanol-water (65∶35) with a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1. The detection wavelength was set at 276 nm and the injection volume was 20 ?L. RESULTS: The linear range of idrocilamide was 0.05~4 ?g?mL-1,the average recovery rate was 99.97% (RSD=0.80%). CONCLUSION: This method is sensitive, accurate and applicable for the determination of the content of main component in idrocilamide ointment.

Objectives This paper is focused on the investigation of effects of inhomogeneous head tissues and anisotropic skull as well as white matter conductivity distribution on magnetic and electric field distribution of electric impedance tomography (EIT) and magnetic resonance electrical impedance tomography (MREIT) based on the five-layer FEM head modeling. Methods Four different characteristics head models were set:homogeneous distribution, inhomogeneous distribution, anisotropic skull and white matter distribution.Electric and magnetic field distribution were obtained by the performance of numeric solving of the forward problem, and the effects of inhomogeneous conductivity and anisotropic conductivity on the distribution were studied by applying the quantitative statistical analysis. Results The present results showed that inhomogeneous and anisotropic characteristics can significantly alter the electric field and current density distributions then the magnetic field distribution induced in the brain. Conclusion The conclusion provides theoretical basis for the application of MREIT in the reconstruction of inhomogeneous and anisotropic conductivity of head tissues.

OBJECTIVE: To optimize the prescription of traditional Chinese medicine for motion sickness (MS).METHODS: Zingiber officinale,Herba pogostemonis,Aucklandia lappa were extracted respectively, and rotating-inducing MS mice were enrolled in uniform design. The prescription was optimized with MS index as the parameters.RESULTS: The optimal prescription was as follows:60 g Z.officinale,45 g Herba pogostemonis,5 g A.lappa.The extractive of prescription was significantly better than dimenhydrinate in the treatment of MS.CONCLUSION: MS index is a stable and sensitive parameters and it is suitable for screening and evaluation of anti-MS drugs.R.zingiberis,H.pogostemonis,A.lappq are potential drug for MS.

Objective To observe the effect of needle warming moxibustion on cognitive dysfunction after stroke. Methods 76 stroke patients with cognitive dysfunction were randomly divided into treatment group (n=38) and control group (n=38). The treatment group received needle warming moxibustion and routine rehabilitation for 4 weeks, while the control group only received routine rehabilitation. They were assessed with Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) and activities of daily living (ADL) scale before and after treatment. Results The score of MoCA and ADL improved in both groups (P<0.05), and improved more in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05) after treatment. Conclusion Needle warming moxibustion could improve cognitive function in patients after stroke and activities of daily living.

Objective To observe the effect of intelligent trunk intensive training on motor and balance for patients with stroke. Methods 80 stroke patients were divided into treatment group (n=40) and control group (n=40) randomly. Both groups accepted routine rehabilitation, and the treatment group accepted intelligence trunk intensive training in addition for 6 weeks. They were assessed with Rivermead Movement Index (RMI), the Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Sheikh trunk control ability evaluation before and after treatment. Results All the scores improved after treatment in both groups (P<0.001), and improved more in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.001).The score of trunk control positively correlated with the score of RMI and BBS respectively (r=0.576, r=0.592, P<0.05). Conclusion Intelligent trunk intensive training can further improve the motor and balance of patients with stroke.

Objective To investigate the effects of rehabilitation stroke unit on patients with shoulder-hand syndrome after stroke. Methods 90 stroke patients with shoulder-hand syndrome were divided into two groups: control group (45 cases) was treated with conventional treatment and experimental group (45 cases) was incorporated into the rehabilitation stroke unit. The therapeutic course was 6 weeks.Brunnstrom stage, Fugl-Meyer assessment (FMA) and modified Barthel index (MBI) were used to assess the degree of the motor function of upper limb and hand, and activities of daily living (ADL), and the total clinical efficacy were evaluated. Results The motor function of upper limb and hand and ADL improved in both groups after treatment (P<0.05), while the experimental group was significantly superior to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Rehabilitation stroke unit has preferable effect on shoulder-hand syndrome after stroke.

Aim To investigate the effect of astragalus injection on the expression of JNK3(c-jun N terminal kinase)protein and JNK3 mRNA interrelated by apoptosis after hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation in hippocampal neurons of rats. Methods The hippocampal neurons cultured for eight days were divided into four groups:normal control group,hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation group, astragalus injection group and astragalus solution group.Hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation group, astragalus injection group and astragalus solution group were treated with hypoglycemia and reoxygenation after being deprived of oxygen and glucose for 30 minutes. Methods of Western blot,ELISA and RT-PCR were used respectively to measure the expression of JNK3 mRNA after hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation 0,0.5,2,6,24,72,120 h.Results Compared with normal control group, the mean optic density(MOD)of expression of JNK3 protein and activation of JNK3 protein in hippocampal neurons of rats every time points increased obviously in hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation group except 120 h(P<0.05);compared with hypoxia/ hypoglycemia and reoxygenation group,MOD of expression of JNK3 mRNA and activation of JNK3 protein in hippocampal neurons of rats every time points decreased obviously except 120 h in astragalus injection group (P<0.05);compared with hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation group, there was no difference in astragalus solution group.Compared with normal control group,MOD of expression of JNK3 mRNA in hippocampal neurons of rats every time points increased obviously in hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation group(P<0.05);compared with hypoxia/ hypoglycemia and reoxygenation group,MOD of expression of JNK3 mRNA in hippocampal neurons of rats every time points decreased obviously in astragalus injection group except 120 h(P<0.05);compared with hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation group, there was no difference in astragalus solution group. Conclusion Astragalus injection can inhibit the expression of JNK3 mRNA after hypoxia/hypoglycemia and reoxygenation, moreover,it can inhibit the expression of JNK3 protein and decrease the activation of JNK3 protein, accordingly it inhibits hippocampal neuronal apoptosis.
