1.Determination of Main Components in Idrocilamide Ointment by HPLC

OBJECTIVE:To establish an HPLC method to determine the content of main component in idrocilamide ointment. METHODS: The samples were separated on HP-ODS column with column temperature maintained at room temperature. The mobile phase consisted of methanol-water (65∶35) with a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1. The detection wavelength was set at 276 nm and the injection volume was 20 ?L. RESULTS: The linear range of idrocilamide was 0.05~4 ?g?mL-1,the average recovery rate was 99.97% (RSD=0.80%). CONCLUSION: This method is sensitive,accurate and applicable for the determination of the content of main component in idrocilamide ointment.
2.Sentinel lymph node biopsy for breast cancer: a result of 126 cases

Objective To study the significance of sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLND) in clinical stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ breast cancer patients. MethodsFrom January 1999 to January 2000, 126 patients with clinically stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ breast cancer received SLND guided by methylenc blue staining, and axillary lymph nodes clearance. Multilevel section and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) were performed in lymph nodes of patients with negative nodes. Results SN was identified in 95/126 cases(75.4%). The sensitivity of SLND was 91.7%, the specificity was 100%. It had 100% positive predictability and 92.5% negative predictability. The accuracy rate of intraoperative frozen-section examination of SN was 93.4%. One of 35 patients (2.9%) with H&E negative nodes had evidence of lymph node metastasis in the SN by multilevel sectioning and IHC.ConclusionSLND is extremely accurate in prediction of the lymph node status in patients with breast cancer. Multilevel sectioning and IHC analysis of SN improves the sensitivity of this staging technique.

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and drug resistance of gram -negative bacillus in Department of Respiratory Medicine.Methods 100 patients in Department of Respiratory Medicine were selected, analyzed the clinical characteristic and drug resistance of 125 strains of gram -negative bacillus that was separated. Results 125 strains of pathogenic gram negative bacilli were isolated out of 100 patients,among which 34 strains were pneumonia klebsiella bacteria,24 strains were acinetobacter baumannii,18 strains were pseudomonas aeruginosa, 10 strains were enterobacter cloacae,18 strains were escherichia coli and 21 strains were other bacteria.Results The drug resistance rates were 79.4%,76.5%,76.5% and 76.5% respectively in klebsiella pneumoniae to amikacin, cefotaxime,ampicillin and imipenem,was more sensitive to meropenem and cefoperazone,the drug resistance rate was 100.0% in acinetobacter baumannii to ampicillin and cefazolin,and was 91.7% to ceftriaxone,and the resistance rate for other drugs are higher generally.The drug resistance rate was 100.0% in pseudomonas aeruginosa to ampicillin and ceftriaxone,and was 94.4% to cefotaxime and levofloxacin,the drug resistance rate was 90.0% in enterobacter cloacae to ampicillin,and was 60.0% to ceftriaxone,cefazolin and cefoxitin,the drug resistance rate on the other drug was relatively low.Conclusion Klebsiella pneumoniae,acinetobacter baumanni and pseudomonas aeruginosa were the main gram negative bacillis the cause hospitalized patients with drug resistance.
5.Optimization of the Prescription of Traditional Chinese Medicine for MS by Uniform Design

OBJECTIVE: To optimize the prescription of traditional Chinese medicine for motion sickness (MS).METHODS: Zingiber officinale,Herba pogostemonis,Aucklandia lappa were extracted respectively,and rotating-inducing MS mice were enrolled in uniform design.The prescription was optimized with MS index as the parameters.RESULTS: The optimal prescription was as follows:60 g Z.officinale,45 g Herba pogostemonis,5 g A.lappa.The extractive of prescription was significantly better than dimenhydrinate in the treatment of MS.CONCLUSION: MS index is a stable and sensitive parameters and it is suitable for screening and evaluation of anti-MS drugs.R.zingiberis,H.pogostemonis,A.lappq are potential drug for MS.
6.Discussion on Reasonable Medication Work Mode in Pharmacy Intravenous Admixture Service (PIVAS)

Objective:To discuss the effect and significance of reasonable medication review mode for intravenous medical advice on the platform of pharmacy intravenous admixture service( PIVAS) . Methods:The effect of prescription review interference in intrave-nous drugs on the platform of PIVAS was studied through analyzing irrational prescriptions before and after the performance of PIVAS for 25 departments in our hospital. Results:The real-time review and interference procedure for intravenous transfusion was established, which could significantly increase the percentage of reviewed medical advice and the correction rate of irrational medical advice, and re-duce the percentage of irrational medical advice. The medical advice review quality was also increased, which could guarantee the med-ication safety in patients. Conclusion:The real-time review and interference procedure for intravenous transfusion on the platform of PIVAS can significantly improve the rational medication level of intravenous drugs and avoid the hidden danger of irrational medical ad-vice to the maximum extent to ensure the medication safety in patients, which is also beneficial to the provision of medication service and new platform establishment for the development of clinical pharmacy in hospitals.
7.Influence of out-hospital nursing with no gap on the level of HbAlc for patients with diabetes

Objective To know the influence of out-hospital nursing with no gap on the level of HbAlc for patients with diabetes.Methods Divided 80 patients with diabetes into the intervention group and control group randomly,there were 40 cases in the each group.Out-hospital nursing cares with no gap were used in the intervention group,while the routine nursing cares were used in the control group.Fellowed up 1 year.Compared the FPG,2 hPG and HbAlc between the two groups at the time points of the 3rd,6th,9th and 12th month when out of hospital.Results All the indexes which had monitored were better in the intervention group than those of in control group.Conclusions Out-hospital nursing with no gap can remain the indexes in the normal level,and then promote their quality of life,which should be developed in clinical field.

9.Content Determination of Paeoniflorin in Bazhen Pill(Concentrated Pill)by HPLC

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the content determination of paeoniflorin in Bazhen pill(concentrated pill). METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of wondasil C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile-1% phosphoric acid(15∶85, V/V)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,the detection wavelength was 230 nm,and column temperature was 30 ℃. RESULTS:The lin-ear range of paeoniflorin was 0219-1.32 μg(r=0.999 9);RSDs of precision,stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 1%;recovery was 95.82%-101.82%(RSD=2.13%,n=6). CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple,stable and reproducible, and can be used for the content determination of Bazhen pill(concentrated pill).
