Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(11):-
Objective To detect the level of interleukin(IL)-12 and IL-10 in the serum patients with progressive psoriasis vulgaris and to investigate the role them. Methods The serum samples were collected from 10 patients with progressive psoriasis vulgaris. The levels of IL-12 and IL-10 in the serum both the patients and health controls were detected by ELISA. Results IL-12 level increased significantly and IL-10 decreased remarkably in the patients compared with the control. Conclusion IL-12 and IL-10 play an important role in pathogenesis of psoriasis vulgaris.

The rate of stroke has been rising year by year and become the world's major cause of mortality and disability. The high rate of disability did not only bring economical burden to society and family, but also induce psychological damage to patients. Post-stroke depression (PSD) is a most common mental complications of stroke. In recent years, More and more attentions have been paid to PSD. This article reviewed the cause and mechanism of PSD and the treatment with Chaihu Shugan Powder on it.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(22):3519-3524
BACKGROUND:Many previous retrospective smal-sample studies analyzed the short-term effects using pedicle screw placement to repair thoracolumbar fracture. Conclusions are relatively thin. Simultaneously, screw placement in the injured vertebra can further stabilize the vertebral body, and reduce screw and rod breakage and loss of correction. OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the long-term effects of pedicle screw placement fixation through the injured vertebra in the repair of thoracolumbar fracture. METHODS: From February 2010 to February 2012, 36 patients with thoracolumbar fracture, who were treated in the Department of Orthopedics, Guangzhou Panyu District Second People’s Hospital, were selected. They were treated by vertebral pedicle screw placement fixation. Height ratio of preoperative injured vertebral leading edge was averagely 36%. Kyphosis angle (Cobb angle) was 25°. Sagittal diameter of the center of the vertebral canal was 60%. Nerve function was classified according to Frankel classification: grade A, 2 cases; grade B, 6 cases; grade C, 10 cases; grade D, 9 cases; grade E, 9 cases. The height ratio of injured vertebra, kyphosis angle (Cobb angle), sagittal diameter of the center of the vertebral canal and Frankel classification of nerve function were compared before and after treatment. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The postoperative folow-up was 3-3.5 years. Pain was obviously aleviated postoperatively in 36 patients. Average height ratio of injured vertebra was 95%. Kyphosis angle (Cobb angle) was 3.5°. Sagittal diameter of the center of the vertebral canal was 96%. Significant difference was found in the above indexes before and after treatment (P < 0.05). Postoperative neurologic recovery: grade A in 1 case, grade B in 2 cases, grade C in 3 cases, grade D in 4 cases, and grade E in 26 cases. Postoperative fractures were reset. Complications such as breakage, loosing or correction loss were not found. These findings suggest that pedicle screw placement fixation through the injured vertebra in the repair of thoracolumbar fracture can make a satisfactory reduction, enhance the pressure stability of the spine, reduce the internal fixation of fracture and vertebral height loss, and have good long-term effects, indicating that the implant and host have good biocompatibility.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2011;(z1):1-3
Objective To evaluate the value of the fusion of 99m Tc-MIBI imaging technology apply in the diagnosis of malignant lung tumor. Methods Thirty - four cases with lung nodules proved by X-ray and/or CT scanning, a total of 48 lung nodular lesions. And the imaging with-99m Tc-MIBI of chest performed at 10 minutes and 2 hours delayed after injection by GE Infinia Hawkeye 4 SPECT-CT. then the regions of interesting ( ROI) were drawn in the tumor and contra lateral position to calculate the radioactivity ratios of tumor to normal ( T/NT) , and fused with the spiral CT scanning image in the same machine, and reading the early and delayed image respectively. Judged the result of the image develops, and statistical analysis of the ratio (T/NT) according to the final pathologic consequence. Results All cases with total of 48 nodular lesions, 21 nodules were positive in early imaging, 16 nodules were positive in delayed imaging (the ratio T/NT over 3. 33). defined the delayed image positive as the final criterion, The(T/NT)ratios of Malignant lung lesions were significantly higher than the benign lesions ( P <0. 05). Negative nodes 27, 13 cases of lung cancer lesions were malignant, confirmed by postoperative pathologic examination. The falsepositive nodules 3, false-negative nodules 2. The sensitivity was: 88.88%, the specificity was: 90.9% positive predictive value ( +PV) was: 84. 21% , negative predictive value (-PV) is: 93.75%. Conclusion 99mTc-MIBI as a tumor positive imaging agent is highly sensitivity to lung lesions, but specificity is not so high.

AIM: To explore the mechanism of apoptosis in pulmonary arterial vascular smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) induced by nitric oxide (NO). METHODS: Wistar rat PASMCs were isolated from explants from the intrapulmonary, incubated with NO donor, sodium nitroprussid (SNP) under 12 or 24 hour normoxic and hypoxic conditions. The cell cycle progression and sub-G 1 of PASMC were analyzed via flow cytometric staining of propidium iodide, and the expression of nuclear transcription factor NF-?B and pro-apoptotic factors caspase-3 were detected using immunochemistry staining. Meanwhile gel electrophoresis of extracted DNA by PASMC was performed. RESULTS: SNP induced PASMC apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner ( P
