1.Basis of molecular pathology in colorectal carcinogenesis

Colorectal carcinogenesis is the result of accumulation of genetic and epigenetic alters.Gene mutations and changes in DNA methylation patterns,resulted from genomic instability,are the main molecular events in colorectal cancer.Identification of key mutations and methylation phenotypes in genes leading to colorectal cancer progression,and molecular pathology classification and diagnosis are likely to be the prerequisites for individualized and targeted treatment.
2.Histogenesis and cell differentiation of desmoplastic ameloblastoma

Objective:To study the histogenesis and cell differentiation of desmoplastic ameloblastoma.Methods:The expression of various protein filaments was detected by immunohistochemical stainning in 20 cases of desmoplastic ameloblastoma and the ultrastructure of the tumor was observed in 4 cases.Results:CKH,CK8 and CK19 were positive in spindle-shaped and polygonal epithlium tumor cells.Vimentin was positive in mesenchymal fibrocytes and smooth muscle actin in some mesenchymal cells.Ultrastructural observation found that tonifilaments were in epithelial cells and there were desmosomes between these cells.In stroma myofibroblasts were presented.Loose connective tissue could be seen around some epithelial cell nests.Conclusion:Desmoplastic ameloblastoma may be arise from the early stage of the dental germ formation, epithelial cells of the tumor had the tendency to differentiate to the keratinized cells.
3.Application of Care kV combined with Care Dose 4D in abdominal CT

Objective To study the application of the intelligent optimum tube voltage ( Care kV) combined with automatic tube current ( Care Dose 4D) technique in dual source CT scanning for the abdomen .Methods 180 adult patients underwent whole abdominal CT examination from February 2016 to March 2016 of were selected as the retrospective research objects .On the basis of reference mAs of the image quality the patients were divided into three groups using completely randomized grouping method with 60 patients in each group, such as 250 mAs group, 200 mAs group, and 150 mAs group.The other scanning parameters and image reconstruction parameters were the same .The liver parenchyma CT values and image noise( SD) at the second hepatic portal level were measured .The signal-to-noise ratios ( SNR) in the three groups were compared as well as contrast to noise ratio ( CNR ) , noise ( SD ) , the average volume CT dose index (CTDIvol), dose length product (DLP) and effective dose(E).Results The kV and mAs values in the plain scan , arterial phase scan and portal phase scan in the three groups of patients had statistically significant differences(F=35.25, P<0.05).With the reducing of the refference mAs, the frequency of choosing lower kV in three groups of patients increased gradually .The CTDIvol, DLP and E of plain scan, arterial and portal phase in three groups of patientshad significant difference (F=31.51, P<0.05).With the decline of the reference mAs, the radiation dose decreased gradually , with 150 mAs group lowest.The SNR, CNR and noise of three phases in 250 mAs group and 200 mAs group had no statistically significant difference (F=1.61, P>0.05).In 250 mAs group and 150 mAs group, the SNR and the noise of plain scan and arterial phase images had no statistically significant difference ( F=1.98, P>0.05) , and SNR of portal phase images and CNR of three phases had statistically significant difference (F=27.64, P<0.05);In group 200 mAs and group 150 mAs, the SNR, CNR and noise of plain scan and arterial phase images had no statistically significant difference (F=1.95, P>0.05), and the SNR and CNR of portal phase images had significant difference (F=19.63, P<0.05).Conclusions For the combined use of Care kV and Care dose 4D,it is feasible to select appropriate reference mAs in reducing radiation dose without sacrificing imaging quality .
4.Analysis of related risk factors of prognosis in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus complicated with lung infection

Objective To investigate the related risk factors of prognosis in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) complicated with lung infection.Methods The clinical data of 84 cases with SLE complicated with lung infection were analyzed retrospectively.Multivariate Logistic regressive analysis was made with death and survival as the independent variable.Results There were 23 out of 84 patients dead,and fatality rate was 27.38%.Multivariate Logistic regressive analysis showed that the urine volume,immune globulin treatment,cyclophosphamide pulse therapy,plasma albumin and SLE disease activity (SLEDAI) score were the risk factors that influenced the prognosis (OR =0.53,0.72,4.29,0.94,1.58,respectively,P<0.0l or <0.05).Conclusions The prognosis of patients with SLE complicated with lung infection is the result of the joint action of many factors.The higher SLEDAI score and cyclophosphamide pulse therapy are the independent risk factors of the prognosis.The increase of plasma albumin level and urine production and immune globulin treatment are helpful to decrease the fatality rate.
5.Comparative study on morphology and histology about the chronic atrophic gastritis narrow-band imaging

Objective To compare the morphology and histology about the chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) narrow-band imaging (NBI),in order to improve the rate of final diagnosis.Methods The clinical data of 100 CAG patients who diagnosed by NBI from September 2011 to December 2012 were analyzed retrospectively.The morphological diagnosis by NBI and histodiagnosis by endoscopy were compared.Results In 100 patients,94 patients were diagnosed by histodiagnosis among whom 28 patients were with mild dysplasia,8 patients were with moderate dysplasia,7 patients were with severe dysplasia.In the NBI mode,gastric pits were divided into 6 kinds of types,dysplasia mainly expressed for Ⅳ and Ⅴ 1 type.In 7 severe dysplasia patients,2 patients of microvascular morphology were regular,the others were anomalism,and found neovascularization.Conclusions Endoscopic NBI technology has the advantage of simple operation,and can clearly observe the gastric pit and microvascular morphology after amplification.It can help to improve the accuracy rate of CAG and dysplasia targeted biopsy.
6.Quality Control of Determination of Formaldehyde in Indoor Air by 4-Amino-3-Hydrazine-Mercapto-1, 2, 4-Amilinoazaole Spectrophotometry

Objective To research the quality control of determination of formaldehyde concentration in the indoor air in the newly decorated houses with 4-amino-3-hydrazine-mercapto-1, 2, 4-amilinoazaole spectrophotometry. Methods 35 newly decorated houses in two urban districts of Guiyang were chosen and the air samples were collected from March to December in 2004. Formaldehyde concentration was determined as soon as the air samples were collected, and the laboratory internal quality was controlled by using the standard sample in the determination. Results The formaldehyde concentration range of 35 newly decorated houses was 0.01-1.71 mg/m3, the detection rates was 100%, the rate of exceeding national standard was 77.1% and the median was 0.28 mg/m3. The recovery rates of quality control samples were 90.70%-103.00%. Conclusion The quality control method used in the present paper can make the results of formaldehyde concentration determinated with 4-amino-3-hydrazine-mercapto-1, 2, 4-amilinoazaole spectrophotometry be controlled in the demanded ranges of errors.
7.Relationship between expression of Twist and KiSS-1 and progonosis in non-small cell lung cancer

Background and purpose:Twist has been identifi ed as tumor metastasis promoter transcription factor and KiSS-1 has been identified as tumor metastasis suppressor gene,and both of them have been identified to be associated with the metastatic potential of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) .Our aim was to identify the expression of both Twist and KiSS-1 in NSCLC and analyze their correlation with patients’ survival.Methods:Immunohistochemical staining using monoclonal Twist and KiSS-1 antibody were performed on paraffi n embedded specimens from 61 patients diagnosed with NSCLC,and 15 specimens of tumor surrounding lung tissue were used as control.The association with clinicopathologic data and prognosis of NSCLC were analyzed.Results:The expression of Twist was significantly higher in NSCLC than in tumor surrounding lung tissue(P
8.The effects analysis of sodium aescinate adjuvant treating tibial plateau fracture

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of sodium aescinate adjuvant in treatment with tibial plateau fracture. Method According to the principle of random draw, 160 cases of tibial plateau fractures patients were divided into observation group and control group, each had 80 cases. All cases were given the improved bilateral plate internal ifxation with conventional interventions, besides, the observation group were added intravenous infusion of sodium aescinate after surgery. Results The differences of operative time, blood loss and clinical fracture healing time between two groups were not signiifcant. After intervention, the overall incidence of complications with arthritis, deep vein thrombosis, joint stiffness and joint instability in observation group were signiifcantly lower than that in control group, but the value of joint activity with the HSS values were signiifcantly higher(P<0.05). The plasma TNF-αlevels between two groups before the intervention was not signiifcant, and the values were signiifcantly decreased after the intervention (P<0.05), and had signiifcant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Sodium aescinate has good effect on prognosis in treatment with tibial plateau fractures, the mechanism may be related to reducing the level of plasma TNF-α.
9.Expression and Clinical Significance of Twist Protein in Non-small Cell Lung Carcinoma

Objective To study the clinical significance and the expression of Twist protein in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods The expression of Twist protein was examined in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue samples of 61 NSCLC by S-P immunohistochemical method.Results The expression level of Twist in NSCLC was significantly higher than that of normal lung tissue;the positive expression of Twist protein was related to the histotype,clinical stage and lymph node metastasis;the expression level of Twist protein in the cases whose survival time was less than 4 years was significantly higher than that in the cases whose survival time more than 4 years;the Cox analysis revealed that smoking and lymph node metastasis were the noticeable affective factors on the death of the NSCLC patients after surgery.Conclusion s Twist gene played an important role in the genesis and development of NSCLC,and was related to the prognosis.
10.The expression of transforming growth factor α and its receptor in nasal polyps

Objective:To assess the possible role of expression of TGFα and EGFR in nasal polyps and its re-lationship with PCNA labeling index. Method: Specimens from 20 patients of nasal polyps were studied with im-munohistochemical technique. Result: The expression of TGFα,EGFR and PCNA were increased in the epitheli-um, gland cells and inflammatory cells of nasal polyps. There was a close correlation between the intensities ofTGFα,EGFR and PCNA. Conclusion: TGFα may play a key role in epithelial cell proliferation in nasal polyps.
