Objective To explore the relationship between the serum anticardiolipin antibody (ACA),vascular endothelial grow factor (VEGF) concentration and cognitive impairment in patients with ischemic stroke. Methods Totally 128 cases with acute ischemic stroke were admmitted in stroke unit ward of our hospital during June 2014 to December 2014.According to the score of Montreal cognitive assessnent (MoCA),128 patients with ischemic stroke were divided into groups A (53 cases with cognitive impairment) and group B (75 cases without cognitive impairment). The concentrations of serum ACA,VEGF were quantitatively determinated by ELISA.The differences of serum ACA,VEGF concentrations were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with normal cognitive function group, the cognitive impairment patients had significantly higher ACA concentration ((0.86±0.16) mg/L vs (0.52±0.08) mg/L,P<0.01),and lower VEGF concentration ((197.60±7.48) pg/ml vs (205.80±8.52) pg/ml,P<0.05).Logistic regression revealed that ACA and VEGF were independent effect factors for cognitive impairment (ACA:B =2.841,OR =0.33,95 % CI =0.118-0.926,P=0.025.V EGF:B =-1.674,OR =4.99,95% CI =1.688-4.741,P=0.034).Conclusion ACA and VEGF may play an important role in cognitive impairment after ischemic stroke.

Objective To investigate standardization of technique of retroperitoned laparoscopic ureterolithotomy. Methods Retroperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy was performed on 85 cases of ureterolithiasis(the stone size ranging from 0.8~2.5cm,40 cases in the left,45 cases in the right;and 25 had undergone unsuccessful ESWL).Results 84 cases succeeded,1 case opened becase of play D-J tube difficultly, the mean operation time was 75 minutes(48~220min),and the estimated blood loss 20~100ml,the drain tube was removed 5~12 days(mean 7 days),1 case experienced urinary leakage,1 case infective in the retroperitoneal. Conclusion Retroperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy was a safe operation,it can take the place of open surgery.

Objective To explore facial characteristics of patients with different organ diseases; To provide some references for objective study on TCM inspection information. Methods Smart TCM-I type Life Information Analysis Systems was used to detect facial characteristics of 510 patients with five zang-organs diseases. 36 specific quantitative parameters including red ?, green (G), blue (B) and hue (H), saturation (S), value (V) of the face, forehead, eyes, cheeks, nose and chin were collected, and the Kruskal M-Wallis H and Nemenyi test were used for statistical analysis. Results Among the 510 patients with five zang-organs diseases, 96 patients belonged to lung system diseases, 105 heart system diseases, 101 liver system diseases, 107 spleen and stomach system diseases and 101 kidney system diseases. There was statistical significance in R, G, B, H, S, and V in forehead, eyes, cheeks and nose. Conclusion Facial characteristics can provide objective references for the facial division of five zang-organs diseases.

Objective:To prepare dendritic cell (DC)-cytokine induced killer (CIK) tumor vaccine using DCs of patients with nonsmall-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring autologous tumor antigens and to observe its inhibitory effect on autologous tumor cells in vitro. Methods: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) extracted from NSCLC patients were cultured into DCs and CIKs in presence of different cytokines. Cancer cells from the patients were cultured in vitro and were used to prepare different tumor antigens: tumor cell lysates, necrotic tumor cells and normally-grown tumor cells. The DCs were stimulated by OK-432 and the phenotypes of the DCs were analyzed by flow cytometer. Then the DCs were co-cultured with CIKs. The anti-tumor effect of DC-CIK was evaluated by MTT assay. Results: Compared with the DCs harboring the antigens of necrotic tumor cells and normally-grown tumor cells, DCs pulsed with tumor cell lysates had significantly higher expression of surface molecules such as CD1a (85.1?2.7), CD80 (80.0?4.4), CD83 (75.4?5.3), and HLA-DR(80.5?7.8, all P

Objective To study the influence of different concentration of Fructus Chebulae (Hezi)water solution on the quality of Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix Praeparata (Zhicaowu),so as to optimize the process-ing technology and to find out the principle of detoxification of Hezi in processing. Methods Taking Hezi water solution with different concentration as the excipients,pH and content of total tannins were deter-mined.Then content of six alkaloids, indicator of toxic effect,in Zhicaowu were measured by reversed-phase HPLC.Results With the increasing of the concentration of Hezi water solution, the content of to-tal tannins increased,pH decreased at first, then kept stable, and the total six alkaloids increased slowly followed by irregularity. When the content ratio of Caowu to Hezi was 2∶1,consistent with Standard of Inner Mongolia Mongolian Medicines, the total alkaloids content was least. Conclusion Concentration of Hezi water solution and storage time changed the content of alkaloids in Zhicaowu. The content ratio of Hezi to Caowu recorded in Standard ofInner Mongolia Mongolian Medicines (in 1986)was scientific and valid.

Objective To develop a high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC), and conduct an qualitative analysis of quality control ingredients of Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii (Kusnezoff Monkshood Root, Caowu) processed with Fructus Chebulae (Medicine Terminalia Fruit, Hezi), and analyzed the effects of auxiliary materials and processing on the material basis of Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix (Zhicaowu). Methods HPLC specific chromatogram was performed using Waters SunFire C18 column (250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm), gradient elution using formic acid in acetonitrile (A) and 10 mmol/L ammonium acetate solution (B) with flow rate at 1 mL/min, column temperature at 35℃ and injection volume of 10 μL;detection wave length with a UV detector at 254 nm for fingerprint analysis, 271 nm and 235 nm for the determination. Results HPLC specific diagram of caowu processed with hezi was established, and 28 communal peaks were confirmed including 17 from caowu and 11 from hezi. Two new peaks (peak 6 and peak 16) were identified as gallic acid and chebulagic acid based on reference. This HPLC specific analysis method also quantified gallic acid, chebulagic acid, benzoylmesaconine and mesaconitine. Conclusion This specific HPLC method is easy to perform and also reliable. It could quickly identify raw, processed, and hezi-processed caowu, and distinguish different ingredients of caowu and its processed products.
