Analysis on the relationship between hypernatremia and prognosis. Results The 185 eases of severe craniocerebral injury with hypernatremia, the incidence is 52 %. Including 136 death cases, the mortality rate was 73.5 %. Hypernatremia appeared after admission since 1~18 days, the average days for this were 4.1 days. 69 cases appeare hypernatremia in 24 hours,60 cases in 48 hours,16 cases in 72 hours,145 cases of hypematremia appeared after admission within 3 days, about 78%. Blood sodium level was 148~196mmol/L, average was 172mmol/L, duration time was 1~25 days, average was 5.4 days. Conclusion It seems that almost hypernatremia appeared, when severe crartiocerebral was injuried in 3 days. The mortality is very high.

Objective To study the effects of main ingredients from microemulsion extract of Compound Longqincao in vitro on anti-influenza virus H1N1 activity; To analyze effects of main ingredients from microemulsion extract on influenza virus inhibition rate. Methods Uniform design was used to conduct the experiment. MTT method was used to detect the effect rate (ER) of anti-influenza virus H1N1 on A549 cells. Setting ER as the index, Minitab17 software was used to establish mathematical model to come up with regression equations of all factors. The effects of ingredients on ER were analyzed and the efficient composition ratio of the optimum anti-influenza virus H1N1 was chosen.ResultsIn the compound compatibility, baicalin showed the most obvious antivirus activity, and licorice glycosides had certain inhibition effects on pathological changes of cells. Five ingredients had coordinative or controlled relation with ER. When per milliliter liquids containing licorice glycosides, baicalin, leucine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid was 13.94μg, 49.44μg, 0.23 mg, 1.25 mg, and 2.50 mg, ER was the best. ER was 85.34%±4.72% after verification.ConclusionThe optimized combination of main ingredients from microemulsion extract of Compound Longqincaocan better play a role in anti-influenza virus H1N1.

This article was aimed to study the proteomic spectra expression of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) cold and heat constitution rats with two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE), in order to search for the cold and heat-associated proteins for the investigation of the biological basis of TCM cold and heat body constitution formation. The total protein in rat’s liver cell was extracted. The 2-DE and MALDI-TOF/TOF mass spectrometry (MS) were used in the screening and identification of differentially expressed proteins of cold and heat constitution rats. The results showed that a total of 10 different points in the protein expression were obtained with statistical significance after screening and MS, which were carbamoyl-phosphate synthase, protein disulfide isomerase associated 3, catalase, hydroperoxide isomerase, cytosol aminopeptidase, glutamate dehydrogenase 1, 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A synthase 2, heat shock protein 60 (Hsp60) precursor, homocysteine, 78 kDa glucose-regulated protein precursor. It was concluded that some differences were existed in the proteomic spectra expression of TCM cold and heat constitution rats. The abnormality of enzyme protein metabolism may be one of the material bases for the formation of cold and heat constitution.

Objective To explore facial characteristics of patients with different organ diseases; To provide some references for objective study on TCM inspection information. Methods Smart TCM-I type Life Information Analysis Systems was used to detect facial characteristics of 510 patients with five zang-organs diseases. 36 specific quantitative parameters including red ?, green (G), blue (B) and hue (H), saturation (S), value (V) of the face, forehead, eyes, cheeks, nose and chin were collected, and the Kruskal M-Wallis H and Nemenyi test were used for statistical analysis. Results Among the 510 patients with five zang-organs diseases, 96 patients belonged to lung system diseases, 105 heart system diseases, 101 liver system diseases, 107 spleen and stomach system diseases and 101 kidney system diseases. There was statistical significance in R, G, B, H, S, and V in forehead, eyes, cheeks and nose. Conclusion Facial characteristics can provide objective references for the facial division of five zang-organs diseases.

Objective To investigate the effect of early rehabilitation intervention model on improving intelligence, motor function and prognosis in premature infants with brain injury. Methods 150 cases of premature infants with brain injury who were diagnosed in the department of pediatrics in our hospital from June 2012 to October 2015 were selected. A total of 114 cases whose parents actively participated in the intervention guidance were selected as the observation group. 36 cases whose parents were not willing to participate in the early intervention guide were selected as the control group. The control group was given routine intervention, and the observation group was given early rehabilitation intervention model on the basis of the control group. The two groups of children were given intervention for 24 months. The intelligence and motor development index 12 and 24 months after intervention were observed and compared between the two groups, and the rate of nerve disability was compared. Results After intervention for 12 and 24 months, MDI and PDI in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0. 05). After intervention for 24 months, the incidence rate of neurological disability in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0. 05). Conclusion Early rehabilitation intervention model has a positive effect on the recovery of premature infants with brain injury, which can improve the level of intelligence and motor development, develop the potential of children, reduce the rate of nerve disability, and improve the prognosis of children.

Objective To study the influence of different concentration of Fructus Chebulae (Hezi)water solution on the quality of Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix Praeparata (Zhicaowu),so as to optimize the process-ing technology and to find out the principle of detoxification of Hezi in processing. Methods Taking Hezi water solution with different concentration as the excipients,pH and content of total tannins were deter-mined.Then content of six alkaloids, indicator of toxic effect,in Zhicaowu were measured by reversed-phase HPLC.Results With the increasing of the concentration of Hezi water solution, the content of to-tal tannins increased,pH decreased at first, then kept stable, and the total six alkaloids increased slowly followed by irregularity. When the content ratio of Caowu to Hezi was 2∶1,consistent with Standard of Inner Mongolia Mongolian Medicines, the total alkaloids content was least. Conclusion Concentration of Hezi water solution and storage time changed the content of alkaloids in Zhicaowu. The content ratio of Hezi to Caowu recorded in Standard ofInner Mongolia Mongolian Medicines (in 1986)was scientific and valid.

The central nervous system (CNS) plays a key regulatory role in glucose homeostasis. In particular, the brain is important in initiating and coordinating protective counterregulatory responses when blood glucose levels fall. This may due to the metabolic dependency of the CNS on glucose, and protection of food supply to the brain. In healthy subjects, blood glucose is normally maintained within a relatively narrow range. Hypoglycemia in diabetic patients can increase the risk of complications, such as heart disease and diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The clinical research finds that the use of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has a positive effect on the treatment of hypoglycemia. Here the authors reviewed the current understanding of sensing and counterregulatory responses to hypoglycemia, and discuss combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine and the theory of iatrogenic hypoglycemia in diabetes treatment. Furthermore, the authors clarify the feasibility of treating hypoglycemia on the basis of TCM theory and CNS and have an insight on its clinical practice.
