Objective To study the value of procalationin (PCT) in neonatal infection disease diagnosis. Methods PCT was measured in 118 neonates in neonatal department of our hospital, then compared with C-reactive protein (CRP). According to the results, the 118 neonates were divided into three groups; severe infection group (n=51) , local infection (n=37) and non- infection group (n=30). Objective To assess the efficacy of submucosal injection of thiotepa for the prevention of recurrence of superficial bladder cancer. Methods Sixty-six patients with superficial bladder cancer were chosen, they were randomly divided into injection group(33 cases)and control group(33 cases). In injection group, 33 patients had submucosal injection of thiotepa, after 30 minutes resection of bladder tumor were treated by PKRBt, after one week, they were given perfusion 27 mg BCG. In control group, 33 patients after the PKRBt were given perfusion BCG. Results The recurrence rate in injection group was 15.2%, and that of the control group was 27.3%. There was significant difference between the twO group (P<0.05). Con-clusions The submucosal injection of thiotepa , PKRBt and perfusion BCG could prevent tumor recur-rence,it has the following advantage,such as simple , safe, less side effect ,more economical. The submu-cosal injection is a practical method to prevent tumor recurrence and is worth popularizing.

Objective To investigate the clinical application of anti-β2 glyeoprotein Ⅰ antibodies (IgG, IgM, IgA)in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE). Methods The anti-β2-GP Ⅰ antibodies and anti-cardiolipin antibodies(ACL) level were measured by ELISA in 100 SLE patients, 39 other rheumatoid arthri-tis patients and 30 healthy control people. Their clinical application was analyzed in SLE diagnose and thera-py. Results The level of anti-β2-GP Ⅰ (IgG, IgM, IgA)were significantly higher in SLE than that in healthy (P < 0. 01 ). Sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 17.2%, 95.7%, 85.0% and 44. 6%, respectively. There was a significant and positive correlation be-tween anti-β2-GP Ⅰ antibodies and ACL antibodies ( IgG, IgM, IgA) (r = 0.418, 0. 624, 0.518, 0. 583, P <0.01). In multivariate analysis the factors(anti-β2-GP Ⅰ antibodies, ACL antibodies, dsDAN, u1-RNP, Sm, SSA, SSB, Jo-1, Scl-70, P-protein, PT, APTT) associated with SLE disease activity index(SLEDAI) were anti-β2-GP Ⅰ (IgG) and dsDNA. Conclusion anti-β2-GP Ⅰ antibody has high specificity and positive predict value, also is associated with SLE's thrombosis. It has some values in the clinical application.

Objective To investigate the significance of total bilirubin/albumin in predicting bilirubin neurotoxicity.Methods Eighty-three cases with hyperbilirubinemia who treated from May 2007 to August 2010 were selected,the serum total bilirubin and albumin were detected and total bilirubin/albumin was calculated.According to brainstem auditory evoked potential(BAEP)results,the patients were divided into normal BAEP group and abnormal BAEP group and compared.Results There were 27 cases of abnormal BAEP group and 56 cases of normal BAEP group.Total bilirubin and total bilirubin/albumin in abnormal BAEP group were higher than those in normal BAEP group[(356.50±59.23)μmol/L vs.(318.70±55.12)μmol/L,(5.02±0.49)×10-3 vs.(4.56±0.43)×10-3],the differences were significant (P<0.05).Multiple regression analysis showed:abnormal BAEP was closely related to total bilirubin/albumin(r=0.72,P<0.05),whih abnormal BAEP was not obviously related to total bilirubin(r=0.19,P>0.05).Conclusion Total bilirubin/albumin can reflect serum unconjugated bilirubin level of neonatus with hyperbilirubinemia better than total bilirubin,and it can can be taken as one index to evaluate the risk factors of bilirubin neurotoxicity.

Quality control of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has become bottlenecks of TCM industry devel-opment and TCM international recognition. To solve the retational problems, we explored the establishment of new quality control method based on efficacy and safety. Firstly, material basis of TCM efficacy was investigated deeply and systematically. Then, quality control method based on efficacy was established by using active ingre-dients as markers. We also establish detection methods based on safety, such as pesticide residues, heavy metals and harmful elements , mycotoxins .

Objective To investigate the role of sLOX?1 and leptin in metabolic syndrome ,glucose and lipid metabolism. Methods 58 patients with metabolic syndrome were included in the study ,with other 35 normal controls as control group. Fasting venous blood samples were collected. ELISA method was used to detect serum sLOX?1 and leptin levels. The related biochemical indicators were tested. Results The sLOX?1 and leptin levels in the metabolic syndrome group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.01). The levels of sLOX?1 and leptin were further compared between different genders. The differences were not statistically significant (P > 0.05). sLOX?1 and leptin levels were positively correlated. They were positively correlated with WAIST,TG,SBP,DBP,and negatively correlated with HDL?C. Leptin and age,FPG also had positive correlation,but sLOX?1 was not correlated with age and FPG. Conclusion sLOX?1 may be able to predict endothelial damage in patients with metabolic syndrome in an early stage. Combined with leptin ,the endothelial dysfunction could be reflected more accurately. They may be the important factors for early diagnosis and risk assessment of metabolic syndrome.

Objective · To explore family medical intervention model of senile dementia with behavioral and psychological symptoms. Methods · Four streets of Changning District in Shanghai were randomly selected and subjects were enrolled according to the inclusion criteria, who were randomly divided into the intervention group (n=71) and control group (n=70). The intervention group received door-to-door service from psychiatric doctors, given drug treatment and psychological intervention. Subjects were evaluated by several scales, including Behavioral Pathology in Alzheimer's Disease Rating Scale (BEHAVE-AD), Mini-Mental State of Examination (MMSE), Activity of Daily Living Scale (ADL), Quality of Life-Alzheimer's Disease (QOL-AD), and Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74 (GQOLI-74), at baseline and by the end of 6 months and 12 months. Results · ① There was no significant difference in the total scores and all factor scores of BEHAVE-AD between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). Repeated measures analysis of variance revealed a significant main effect of time (P<0.001). The between-group effect was significant in the total scores of BEHAVE-AD and the factor scores of affective disorder, anxiety and terror (P<0.001). The interactive effect of time×group was significant in the total scores of BEHAVE-AD and the factor scores of delusion and affective disorder (P<0.05). ② Intergroup comparison of the BEHAVE-AD scores indicated that by the end of 6 months, factor scores of hallucination, circadian rhythm disorder, affective disorder, anxiety and terror of the intervention group were remarkably better than those of the control group and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.01). By the end of 12 months, total scores of BEHAVE-AD, and factor scores of delusion, conduct disorder, affective disorder, anxiety and terror of the intervention group were remarkably better than those of the control group and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.01). ③ There was no significant difference in the scores of MMSE, ADL, QOL-AD and GQOLI-74 between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). Conclusion · The family medical intervention model of door-to-door services from psychiatrists integrating multidisciplinary team is effective to attenuate the mental and behavioral symptoms of senile dementia patients, and can improve the quality of life of patients and caregivers. The effect of persistent implementation will be more remarkable.

Objective To explore the effect of targeted surveillance on the control of nosocomial infection in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).MethodsThe nosocomial infection rates were retrospectively analyzed after continuous improvement of targeted surveillance in NICU from January 2013 to June 2015.ResultsDuring the research period, 59 cases has nosocomial infection in 1011 case who were selected in accordance with inclusion criteria, nosocomial infection rate is 5.8% and daily infection rate is 3.5%. On semiannual basis, the daily infection rates decreased from 8% in the ifrst half of 2013 to 2.2% in the ifrst half of 2015. The ventilator associated pneumonia cases/1000 ventilator days decreased from 12.8‰ to 0‰ from the ifrst half of 2013 to the ifrst half of 2015. The central ventral indwelling catheter related bloodstream infection cases/1000 central ventral indwelling catheter days decreased from 4.5‰ to 0‰ from the ifrst half of 20133 to the ifrst half of 2015. OBJECTIVE To discuss the preventive methods of hepatitis B virus reinfection after liver transplantation. METHODS Eighty eight liver transplantation recipients with HBV-related end-stage liver diseases including chronic fulminant hepatitis B,end-stage liver cirrhosis and liver carcinoma were analyzed retrospectively,and were given lamivudine pre-transplantation to prevent hepatitis B virus reinfection.Post-transplantation medicines of lamivudine were administered in 3 cases;lamivudine and hepatitis B immunoglobulin(HBIg) in 85 cases.The follow-up criteria included serum HBV,HBV-DNA,liver biopsy,immunohistochemical study of liver biopsy specimens and clinical manifestations.All of patients were followed-up 6 months at least.RESULTS Two of the three cases who taken lamivudine developed reinfection,the little time is 6 months following liver transplantation.There were three of eighty five cases taken lamicudine and HBIg(small dosage) developed reinfection.CONCLUSIONS Liver transplantation is an effective treatment for HBV-related end-stage liver diseases.Given lamivudine at the pre-transplantation could reduce the levels of the HBV virus copies.Lamivudine and HBIg post-transplantation offer effective prevention against hepatitis B virus reinfection.

A novel and sensitive HPLC-UV method has been developed for the simultaneous determination of twelve major compounds in Longdan Xiegan Pill.The chemical profile of the twelve compounds,including geniposidic acid（1）,geniposide（2）,gentiopicroside（3）,liquiritin（4）,crocin（5）,baicalin（6）,wogonoside（7）,baicalein（8）,glycyrrhizic acid（9）,wogonin（10）,oroxylin A（11）and aristolochic acid A（12）,was acquired using high-performance liquid chromatography-diode array detector coupled with an electrospray tandem mass spectrometer（HPLC-DAD-ESI-MS）.The analysis was performed on a Dikma Platisil ODS C18 column（250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm）with a gradient solvent system of acetonitrile-0.1% aqueous formic acid.The validation was carried out and the linearities（r〉0.9996）,repeatability（RSD〈1.8%）,intra-and inter-day precision（RSD〈1.3%）,and recoveries（ranging from 96.6% to 103.4%）were acceptable.The limits of detection（LOD）of these compounds ranged from 0.29 to 4.17 ng.Aristolochic acid A,which is the toxic ingredient,was not detected in all the batches of Longdan Xiegan Pill.Furthermore,hierarchical cluster analysis was used to evaluate the variation of the herbal prescription.The proposed method is simple,effective and suitable for the quality control of this traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）.
