The function of physics courses is important for medical students. The physics courses not only teach them knowl-edge of physics, but also train them scientific literacy. Some problems and mistakes were present in the physics courses for medical students in China. In this paper some views are advanced to solve this problems or mistakes. The physics courses in medical colleges must retain its physical characteristic and should diversify in education method.

Objective To investigate the influence of Wendan decoction on sleep indexes of insomniac patients.Methods 66 patients with insomnia in our hospital were chosen and divided into an experiment group and a control group.The experiment group was treated with the Wendan decoction,and the control group was treated with alprazolam.The curative effects and sleep indexes changes were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 96.97％ (32/33),which was significantly higher than the control group 66.66％ (22/33) with statistical significance (x2=1 0.1852,P＜0.05).After the treatment,the sleep latency (20.63 ±21.38) min,sleep efficiency (79.73 ± 25.69) ％,total sleep time (6.80± 1.50) h in the experimental group were superior to the control group with sleep latency (65.77 ± 46.41) min,sleep efficiency (61.04 ± 21.76) ％,total sleep time (4.43 ± 2.15) h,with statistical significance (P＜0.05).Conclusion Wendan decoction can prolong sleep time and improve sleep quality for insomniac patients.

Objectives:To determine the relationship between hyperuricemia and lipid meterbolism abnomaltity, hypertention, and weight index. Methods:Statistical analysis was given to 9 528 cases for their health examination results, including the blood uric acid,blood fat(total cholestrrol,trigly ceride,high density lipoprotein,low density lipoprotein), blood pressure,and BMI. Results:The detection rate of hyperuricemia was 18.13%(1 727cases),in which male were accounted for 13.44%,female 6.25%. In the 1 727 cases of hyperuicemia,41.31%(535cases) were detected with lipid metabolism,overweight 45.33%(587cases), obesity15.06%(195cases). Conclution:In the cases of hyperuricemia,there are more males than females,and the number of lipid metorbolism abnormality,hypertention,overweight, and obesity is higher than that in the normal groups. Reducing Weight,controlling hyperlipemia and keeping the normal blood pressure are the considerate measures for the prevention and care of hyperuricemia.

Objective To investigate the clinical values of CA199 ,CA242 and DKK1 in diagnosing pancreatic cancer (PCA). Methods The serum levels of CA199 ,CA242 and DKK1 were measured with ECLIA and ELISA method in 112 patients with PCA ,58 patients with benign pancreatic disease and 62 individuals undergoing physical examination.The Kruskal-Wallis single fac-tor analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Mann-Whitney rank-sum test were adopted to conduct the statistical comparison.The ROC curve was drawn by using the Logistic regression model and the area under curve (AUCROC ) was calculated.Results The levels of serum CA199 ,CA242 and DKK1 in the patients with pancreatic cancer were significantly higher than those in the benign pancreatic disease group and healthy normal control group ,the difference was statistically significant ( H=76.30 ,61.2 ,47.60 ,P<0.05);the sensitivities of CA199 ,CA242 and DKK1 for diagnosing pancreatic cancer were 76.7% ,69.6% and 85.7% respectively ;the speci-ficities were 95.0% ,96.7% and 92.5% respectively ;the accuracies were 86.2% ,83.6% and 89.2% respectively.The sensitivity , specificity and accuracy of combined detection of CA 199 ,CA242 and DKK1 by the Logistic regression equation P= 1/[1 +e-(-4.163+0.21X1+0.156X2+0.342X3) ] were 94.4% ,90.8% and 92.2% respectively ;AUC of CA199 ,CA242 ,DKK1 and pre-1 were 0.736 , 0.862 ,0.886 and 0.949 ,respectively.Conclusion Serum CA199 ,CA242 and DKK1 levels have an important value in the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer ,and their combined detection could significantly improve the sensitivity and accuracy of pancreatic cancer diag-nosis.

Objective To evaluate the short-term therapeutic effect of entecavir in treatment of HBV-related liver failure.Methods Randomized controlled trails on treatment of HBV-related liver failure with entecavir were searched in Embase,PubMed,BIOSIS Previews,HMIC,CNKI,Wanfang data,cqvip and SinoMed from March 2005 to September 2012.Meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan 5.0 software.Fixed effects model or random effect model was used according to heterogeneity differences.To evaluate the effect of entecavir,risk ratio (RR) was applied to assess the improvement of mortality rate and HBV DNA negative conversion rate,and weighted men differences (WMD) was applied to assess the changes of alanine aminotransferase (ALT),total bilirubin (TBil),albumin (Alb) and plasma thromboplastin antecedent (PTA) levels.Funnel plots and fail-safe number were used for sensitivitypublication bias analysis.Results Totally 10 eligible literatures with 790 patients were included in this analysis.Compared with the controls,the mortality rate (RR =0.68,95％ CI =0.56 to 0.81,Z =4.21,P＜0.01),TBil (WMD=-133.97,95％CI=-185.15 to-82.78,Z=5.13,P＜0.01) and ALT (WMD =-99.81,95％ CI =-187.37 to-12.24,Z =2.23,P ＜ 0.01) levels were lower in entecavir group,while HBV DNA negative conversion rate (RR =5.21,95％ CI =3.66 to 7.42,Z =9.15,P ＜0.01),PTA(WMD=21.49,95％CI=19.32 to 23.67,Z=19.37,P＜0.01) and Alb (WMD=3.81,95％CI=1.24 to 6.37,Z=2.91,P＜0.01) were higher in the entecavir group.Conclusion Entecavir can significantly reduce mortality rate,ALT and TBil levels,improve PTA,Alb levels and increase HBV DNA negative conversion rate for patients with HBV-related liver failure.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of thiophene tiotropium powder inhaler for postop-erative lung function recovery in lung cancer patients.Methods 80 patients of thoracic surgery lobectomy who had lung cancer were selected as research subjects.The patients were randomly divided into two groups.The observation group received tiotropium bromide powder for inhalation therapy,the control group was inhaled salmeterol /fluticasone propionate powder for inhalation therapy.Before treatment,after treatment,2d,6d of CRP,absolute neutrophil ANC, tumor necrosis factor α(TNF -α) were observed.Before treatment,after treatment 4 weeks,8 weeks of forced vital capacity (FVC),within one second force expiratory volume in FEV1 ,FEV1 percent predicted (FEV1%),FEV1 /FVC, PaO2 ,PaCO3 were detected.Results Before treatment,CRP,AND,TNF -αhad no significant differences between the two groups (all P >0.05).Postoperative 2d,CRP,ANC,TNF -αof the two groups were all increased.Postopera-tive 6d,the above indicators of the two groups were declined,and the decline of the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (t =3.163 4,3.651 8,4.025 3,all P <0.05).Before treatment,FVC,FEV1 ,FEV1%, FEV1 /FVC,PaO2 ,PaCO3 between the two groups had no significant differences (all P >0.05).4 weeks,8 weeks af-ter treatment,FVC,FEV1%,FEV1 /FVC,PaO2 of the observation group were significantly higher than the control group (t =2.041 8,4.116 7;2.043 1,3.722 8;3.056 2,4.138 6;3.227 6,5.161 9;all P <0.05),FEV1 ,PaCO3 were significantly lower than the control group (t =1.523 7,3.427 6;3.439 2,4.521 7;all P <0.05).Conclusion Tiotropium bromide inhalation powder agents has certain effect on lung function recovery for lung cancer patients after surgery,it is worthy of clinical application.

The bone turnover markers are composed of the metabolic products of bone matrix and bone cells.The changes of these markers in serum and/or urine represent the status of bone metabolism.To measure the level of these markers will offer important information for evaluating the diagnosis and the responses of therapy in metabolic bone diseases,and to predicat the risk of bone fracture.The biochemistry,measurement and clinical aplication will be introduced in this paper.

Objective To analyze the clinical significance of the single detection or the combination detection of 3 kinds of tumor marker alpha-fetoprotein(AFP),alpha-fetoprotein-L3(AFP-L3)and DKK1 for the diagnosis of primary hepatic carcinoma(PHC). Methods AFP,AFP-L3 and DKK1 in the PHC group,benign hepatic diseases group and control group were detected by adopting the ECLIA,affinity adsorption chromatography and ELISA methods respectively.The ratio of AFP-L3 in AFP was calculated.Re-sults In the single detection,the sensitivity of AFP,AFP-L3 and DKK1 was 60.9%,76.8% and 69.6% respectively and the speci-ficity was 88.7%,91.5% and 95.8% respectively.In the combination detection,the sensitivity and specificity were 91.3% and 87.3% respectively,the differences between the single detection and the combination detection had statistical significance (P <0. 05).Conclusion The combined examination of serum AFP,AFP-L3 and DKK1 can elevate the sensitivity and specificity,which is much better and more accurate for diagnosing PHC than most of traditional combination detection at present.

Objective To observe the effect of occupational therapy(OT) on unilateral spatial neglect(USN) in stroke patients.Methods 108 stroke patients with USN were randomly divided into OT group(54 cases) with OT and other rehabilitation therapy and control group(54 cases) without OT.They were assessed with line bisection test,number cancellation test,copying drawing test and clock-drawing before and 2 months after treatment.Results The incidence of USN of both groups were significantly reduced after treatment(P<0.01),while that of the OT group were lower than of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion OT can significantly improve the USN after stroke.
