2.Effects of Exercise Training on Cardiac Function and Automatic Nervous Activity in Patients with Coronary Artery Disease following PTCA or Intracoronary Stent Implantation
Chinese Journal of Sports Medicine 1983;0(03):-
Objective The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of exercise training on cardiac function and automatic nervous activity in patients with coronary artery disease(CAD) following PTCA or intracoronary stent implantation. Methods For this study, 37 CAD patients (28 men and 9 women; aged 56.23 ?11.16 years) participated in a supervised 8-week training program with 35 healthy controls(27 men and 8 women; aged 55.72 ?10.34 years). Cardiac function was assessed with indexes obtained during exercise testing using the standard Bruce protocol (submaximal gradural treadmill exercise) before and after 8 weeks training. Meanwhile, heart rate variability (HRV) was used to value the automatic nervous activity. Results After 8 weeks, the margin between maximal HR and resting HR (△HR=HR max-HR resting) was significantly broader (P
4.Roles of integrin and vascular endothelial growth factor in angiogenesis
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(08):-
Integrin is a main factor that mediates adhesive attraction between the cell and the extracellular matrix, and it participates in the formation of new vessel lumens and the construction of the rete vasculosum by regulating endothelial cell adhesion and migration. The extracellular matrix is the ligand of integrin.Collagen and laminin's deposition form new vessel lumens. The vascular endothelial growth factor promotes the proliferation of endothelial cells, accelerates angiogenesis and increases the permeability of blood vessels. This review focuses on the roles and correlation of integrin and VEGF in angiogenesis.
5.Cellular adhesion molecule plasma E-selectin levels and deep vein thrombosis
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(46):-
BACKGROUND:White blood cells involved in the inflammatory response play an important role in deep vein thrombosis.E-selectin mediates the initial process of white blood cell and vascular endothelial cell attachment during inflammation.OBJECTIVE:To investigate the relationship between deep venous thrombosis(DVT) and plasma E-selectin.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:Completely random design and linear correlation analysis were performed at Department of Vascular Surgery,First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University and Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory of Chongqing Medical University from September to December 2007.PARTICIPANTS:Twenty-seven cases of deep vein thrombosis,16 males and 11 females with an average age of(57 ? 15) years, were selected, who attacked within 3 days or with aggregated condition.METHODS:Blood samples were obtained at the admission of the patients. After 72 hours,a second specimen was obtained, defined by thrombolysis and anticoagulant therapy.Determination of plasma E-selectin by ELISA and the blood coagulation abilities and platelet count of the 1st blood samples were performed, including part-time activation thromboplastin, prothrombin time, and plasma fibrinogen.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:E-selectin levels before and after treatment, blood coagulation abilities before treatment, platelet determination and E-selectin related analysis.RESULTS:No acute pulmonary embolism occurred in 27 cases of deep vein thrombosis during the treatment. One case underwent routine Forgart of thrombectomy catheter, and of the other 26 cases,15 were significantly improved, and 11 were not improved after 72 hours.Plasma E-selectin levels significantly decreased after thrombolysis, anticoagulant therapy in deep vein thrombosis patients with clinical remission(P = 0.001),but the plasma E-selectin levels were increased in those with no remission(P = 0.003).E-selectin levels and platelet count of deep vein thrombosis in patients before treatment showed no correlation(r =-0.113,P = 0.576),and were not related to fibrinogen content(r =-0.050,P = 0.802),or part-time activation thromboplastin(r=-0.046,P=0.822),and prothrombin time(r=-0.080,P=0.690).CONCLUSION:Plasma E-selectin levels are positively related to deep vein thrombosis severity.
6.The observation study of ultrasonic diagnosison the liver and gallbladder damage caused by long-term use of anti-schizophrenia drugs
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(9):352-353,356
Objective To observe and analyze the characteristics and trends of the liver and gallbladder damage caused by long-term use of anti schizophrenia drugs through the observation of the abdominal ultrasound. Methods From August 2013 to April 2016, the patients diagnosed as schizophrenia and met criterions were enrolled in our hospital. The observation group I included patients taking anti schizophrenia drug for 3 to 5 years. The observation group II included patients taking anti schizophrenia drug more than 5 years. In addition, the control group recruited healthy person who were over 30 years old and had never taken anti-schizophrenia drug. The change in ultrasound of liver and gallbladder were recorded and analyzed. Results The rate of cholecystolithiasis, chronic cholecystitis in observation group II were higher than those in the other two groups (P<0.05), while there had no significant difference between observation group I and control group. The rate of pure fatty liver in observation group II were higher than those incontrol group (P<0.05), while there had no significant difference between observation group I and observation group II, and there had no significant difference between observation group I and control group. There had no significant difference among three groups regarding as the rate of hepatic cyst and hepatic cavernous hemangioma. Conclusion Long-term use of anti-schizophrenia drugs could increase the risk ofcholecystolithiasis, chronic cholecystitis and pure fatty liver .
7.Clinical analysis of coronary angiography in coronary heart disease patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(8):1055-1056
Objective To study the angiographie characteristics of coronary heart disease (CHD) patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods 292 patients with CHD underwent a selective angiography were selected, the characteristics of coronary arteriongraphy were compared in CHD patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and nondiabetic group. Results In type 2 diabetes mellitus group, the degree of stenosis was higher than that in nondiabetic group (78.01% vs 52.32% )(P < 0.05 ), and the rate of three-vessel disease was higher than that in nondiabetic group (59.57% vs 36.42% )(P <0.05).Conclusion The angiographic characteristics were different in CHD patients with or without type 2 diabetes mellitus.Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus was associated with more severity of lesion and more lesion vessel.
8.Perioperative nutrition support in children
Chinese Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2011;19(3):144-147
Perioperative nutrition support may be required when the synthesis and utilization of nutrients become disordered due to gastrointestinal abnormalities and trauma anesthesia. Proper nutrition support can reduce or prevent malnutrition, and thus facilitate the recovery and lower complications and case-fatality rate.
9.Analysis on misdiagnosis of endometrial polyps by transvaginal ultrasound
Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2008;17(5):419-421
Objective To investigate the value of transvaginal ultrasound in the diagnosis of endometrial polyps. Methods One hundred and ten patients diagnosed as endometrial polyps by transvaginal ultrasound and undergone operative hysteroscopy and histologic examination, were analyzed retrospectively. Results Among 110 cases 75 cases (68.2%) were accurately diagnosed by transvaginal ultrasound, while 35 cases (31.8%) were misdiagnosed. The diseases misdiagnosed included endometrium hyperplasia, intrauterine adhesions and submucousmyoma. Conclusions Combining clinical symptoms with ultrasonogram characters and optimal time of detection can reduce the misdiagnostic rate of endometrial polyps.
10.Progress on the association between respiratory viral infections during early-life and asthma attack in later childhood
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(6):585-587
Respiratory viral infections are the most common cause of infantile wheezing, as well as one of the major inducents of acute exacebarbations of chronic childhood asthma. Recent studies focus on the mechanism of virus-induced airway inflammatory response which is still not completely clear. Many new pathophysiologic mechanisms such as epigenetics are advanced to explain the association between viral respiratory infections and asthma attack. In the present reports, recent data on the role of early-life viral infections in the development and progression of childhood asthma are reviewed.
