Objective To explore the safety and feasibility of conservative laparoscopic salpingotomy and embryo removal . Methods A total of 24 patients with tubal interstitial pregnancy underwent laparoscopic salpingotomy and embryo removal between January 2012 and January 2014.A longitudinal incision was made on the bulge lesions under laparoscope .The gestational sac and affiliated organizations were removed and the incision was continuously sutured with absorption threads .Results The operation was completed in all the 24 patients.The operation time was ( 33.5 ±6.2 ) min, and the blood loss was ( 40.6 ±9.4 ) ml.No postoperative persistent salpingocyesis occurred .The postoperative serum β-hCG recovery time was (14.2 ±4.6) d.Postoperative hysterosalpingography showed unobstructed fallopian tube in 13 patients, connected but not patent in 4 patients, and blocked in 5 patients. Conclusion Laparoscopic salpingotomy and embryo removal is safe and effective , with the patency of fallopian tube partly retained.

AIM: To research the correlation factor of the anterior segment values of eyes with different axial lengths.METHODS: In this study, 697 cases 697 eyes were included.According to axial length we divided all the cases into short axial length group, normal axial length group, mild long axial length group, moderate long axial length group and severe long axial length group.The relevant indicators of the anterior segment values of patients in the five groups was comparatively analyzed.RESULTS: In the short axial length group, the anterior chamber volume (ACV) showed a significantly negative correlation with age;anterior chamber depth (ACD) showed a significantly negative correlation with age.In the normal axial length group, the ACV showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with axial length(AXL);the anterior chamber angle (ACA) showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with AXL, and a significantly positive correlation with corneal curvature;the ACD showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with AXL.In the mild long axial length group, the ACV showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with AXL, and a significantly negative correlation with corneal curvature;the ACA showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with AXL, and a significantly positive correlation with corneal curvature;the ACD showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with AXL.In the moderate long axial length group, the ACV showed a significantly negative correlation with age;the ACA showed a significantly positive correlation with AXL;the ACD showed a significantly positive correlation with AXL.In the severe long axial length group, the ACV showed a significantly negative correlation with age.There were no significant differences on ACV, ACA and ACD among mild long axial length group, moderate long axial length group and severe long axial length group (P>0.05), while the difference between other groups was significant (P<0.05).CONCLUSION: There has a correlation between the anterior chamber values (ACV, ACA, ACD) age and AXL for eyes which AXL were 22-27mm, while the correlation would disappear as the AXL became shorter or longer.There was a significant growth trend of anterior chamber values for eyes with AXL <27mm.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of abdominal Tuina and acupuncture in treating Swiss generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). Methods 80 patients of GAD caused by liver depression-qi stagnation were randomly recruited into a treatment group and a control group, 40 patients in each. The treatment group was treated with abdominal tuina & acupuncture; while the control group was treated with acupuncture exclusively. Clinical effects and hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) score were observed in both groups before and after the treatment. Results ①There was significant difference in total efficacy between the two groups CP<0.05), and the treatment group was better than the control group. ②The HAMA score of the two groups after the treatment was lower than that before the treatment, and the difference was significant (P< 0.05). There was also significant difference of HAMA score between the two groups after the treatment (/><0.05), with the treatment group showing better results than the control group. Conclusion Abdominal tuina combined with acupuncture has sound effects in treating Swiss GAD due to liver depression-qi stagnation.

In this paper, the authors summarized the advance in studies on neuroprotective mechanisms of Uncariae Ramulus Cum Uncis.

Objective To verify the value of routine laboratory markers for assessment of liver fibrosis status in chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) carriers.Methods A total of 196 patients who were clinically diagnosed with chronic HBV carriers with liver biopsy and routine laboratory test were included in this study. The data of complete blood count, aspartate aminofransferase/alanine aminotransferase (AST/ALT),aspartate aminotransferase to platelet ratio index (APRI) and ageplatelet index (API) were collected and calculated.Patients were divided into group S0 (n=112) and group S1- S3 (n =84) based on liver fibrosis stages.Measurement data were analyzed by Wilcoxon rank sum test and enumeration data were analyzed by chi square test.Results All 196 enrolled HBV carriers were HBV DNA positive,with 156 (79.6％) HBeAg-positive.Age,ALT,AST,AST/ALT,APRI and API were all significantly higher in group S1- S3 than those in group S0 (statistic value=7.705,6.33,7.095,4.977,11.059,8.936,respectively; all P＜0.05).However,PLT level was lower in the former group compared to that in the latter group (statistic value=10.196,P＜0.05 ).The area under receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC) of APRI and API were 0.827and 0.829,respectively.The highest sensitivity and negative prediction value (NPV) were 70.46 ％and 71.43 ％ respectively when using API.The best specificity and positive prediction value (PPV)was 92.94％ and 92.86％,respectively when using APRI.When APRI≥0.30 was used as the cut-off of liver fibrosis,97.62 ％ of 119 patients were diagnosed with liver fibrosis; when API≥4.0 was used as the cut-off of liver fibrosis, 96.43％ of 112 patients were diagnosed with liver fibrosis.Conclusion APRI and API are two simple and feasible non-invasive biochemical markers that can be used to determine liver fibrosis status in chronic HBV carriers.

AIM: To compare the accuracy of intraocular lens(IOL)power calculations by using five formulas(Haigis, SRK-T, Hoffer Q, Holladay-1, SRK-Ⅱ)in eyes with long axial lengths in order to improve the accuracy of predicating IOL powers.METHODS: Fifty-one eyes of 51 cases of age-related cataract and with mild long axial(24.5mm27mm) were collected who`s optical biometry were performed by the Zeiss IOL Master500 before operation.They underwent regular phacoemulsification and posterior chamber IOL implantation.The actual postoperative refraction was measured with the methods of phoropter and subjective optometry 3mo after surgery.Then we compared the differences of the predicted and actual postoperative refraction of the five formulas in each group.RESULTS: In the mild axial lengths cases, the differences between SRK Ⅱ formula and the other four formulas were statistically significant (P<0.05), and the difference between Hoffer Q and SRK-T formula was statistically significant (P<0.05);there was no difference among the other formulas (P>0.05).In the moderate and severe long axial lengths cases, the differences between SRK Ⅱ formula and the other four formulas were statistically significant (P<0.05), and the difference between Hoffer Q and SRK-T formula, Hoffer Q and Haigis formula were statistically significant (P<0.05);there was no difference among the other formulas (P>0.05).The differences of all the five formulas between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).CONCLUSION: In the mild axial lengths cases, Haigis, SRK-T, Hoffer Q, Holladay-1 performed well.In the moderate and severe long axial lengths cases, Haigis, SRK-T and Holladay-1 performed better than other formulas.The accuracy of all the five formulas decreases as the axial length getting longer.
