1.Role of ImmunoCyt in the early diagnosis of bladder cancer

Objective To evaluate the effect of ImmunoCyt on the early diagnosis of bladder cancer by comparing the result of cystoscopy with that of cytology. Methods Eighty-six consecutive patients with bladder cancer (mean age,63 years) were included in this group.Among them 38 had undergone transurethral resection of superficial transitional cell carcinoma and had been followed up and 48 had hematuria.These patients were evaluated with standard cytology and ImmunoCyt test.Then all the patients underwent cystoscopy and suspected lesions were biopsied. Objective To develop a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) screen-ing method for 45 poisonous alkaloids in blood. Methods Identification was based on the compound’s retention time and two precursor-to-production transitions. The method involved a liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) followed by LC-MS/MS with multiple-reaction monitoring (MRM). When 1 mL of blood was ex-tracted with diethyl ether at pH=9.2 with SKF525A as the internal standard, the target compounds were an-alyzed with LC-MS/MS in the positive ionization mode. Results The target alkaloids had good linearity (r>0.995 1), both the intra-day precision and inter-day precision being less than 14.77%. The limits of detection ranged from 0.05 to 25 ng/mL in blood. Conclusion The method is selective and sensitive in detecting poisonous alkaloids with a total running time of 12 minutes; therefore it was successfully ap-plied to some actual cases of suspected alkaloids poisoning.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)is prevalent in patients with characteristics of metabolic syndrome.The main clinico-pathological manifestations of NAFLD are fatty degeneration of liver parenchyma cells and fat storage,which can progress to liver cirrhosis and eventually lead to liver failure.Toll -like receptor 4 (TLR4)signaling pathway is involved in the development and progression of NAFLD.At present,the role of TLR4 in the onset of NAFLD is highly valued by clinical doctors.This paper reviews the structure of TLR4, the composition of TLR4 signaling pathway,the regulation of TLR4 expression,the function of TLR4,and the relationship between TLR4 and NAFLD,suggesting that TLR4 signaling pathway is going to be an important research field in the treatment of NAFLD in the future.
4.Drag resistance diversity of 1731 Pseudomonsd aeruginosa at Xinxiang City

Objective To explore the drug resistance diversity of pseufomonsd aeruginosa.Methods We did sensitivity experiments by 23 antibiotic of 1731 pseudomonad aeruginosa identified from clinic during 1997 to 2008,Results In 1 731 pseudomonad aeruginosa,the samples were main from phlegm,accounted for 58.5%.the second from secretion accounted for 24.7%.The drug resistance of pseudomonad aeruginosa for ampicillin、cefazolin and cefuroxime sodium were all higher than 90%,the second were trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole 83.2%.The antibacterial medicines of drug resistance higher than 70%were netilmicn(75.2%)、ofloxacin(70.4%)、tetracycline(74.1%)、choramphenicol(72.0%).The antibacterial medicines of drug resistance Iower than 30%were Cefoperazone/Sulbactam、cefepime、imipenem、ceftazidme.In 12 years,the drug resistance diversity had enhanced prevalent trend.The enhanced speed of proportion drug was slow in 2004~2007,but it was fast again in 08 year.Conclusion The pseudomonad aeruginosa have become one of the most clinical routine nosogenetic germs.It showed single and anti muhiresistance of antibioties seriously.In order to improve antibacterial treating effect,we should inspect the drug resistance continuously in our area.We could select rationally antibacterial medicine according to the result of medicine sensitivity experiments.

6.Application of a novel endoscopic suture device to endoscopic submucosal dissection

Objective To evaluate a new suture coil in endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). Methods Data of 15 patients with early gastrointestinal cancer undergoing ESD were retrospectively ana?lyzed. The edge of the lesion was pulled up by the new coil?assisted suture for the submucosal layer to be full?y revealed, then the submucosa were dissected,and the wound was stitched by suture coil. The success rate and complications were evaluated. Results The lesions were successfully resected in 15 patients. By pull?up, the submucosal blood vessels were completely revealed. No intraoperative uncontrollable bleeding oc?curred. Small perforation occurred in one patient, and was well stitched by the suture coil. The pull?ups were successfully completed in all patients, and the operation time was 5?10 min. The intraoperative slippage of fixed titanium clips occurred in two cases. All the wounds were stitched. Minor bleeding happened in 1 pa?tient, and was controlled by hemostatic clip. Conclusion The new suture coil is easy to use,and can effec?tively prevent and deal with the occurrence of intraoperative and postoperative ESD?related complications.
7.Clinical analysis of 49 cases with Pseudo-Meigs' Syndrome: a report of two cases and a review of literatures over the last decade

Retrospective analyses were conducted for the clinical data of two cases with pseudoMeigs' syndrome at our hospital.Both had respiratory symptoms,such as cough and dyspnea.Radiological examinations revealed ascites,pleural effusion and pelvic mass.The definite pathological diagnosis was pelvic malignant tumor.After surgical tumor removal,ascites and pleural effusion disappeared without recurrence.Along with reviewed cases from PubMed in the last decade,a total of 49 cases had pseudoMeigs' syndrome.The age range was 11-73 years.Their clinical manifestations include dyspnea (78%),abdominal distension (69%),cough (14%),abdominal pain (12%),fatigue (10%),weight loss (6%) chest pain (4%),fever (4%),abdominal mass (4%),and oliguria (2%).CA125 was commonly elevated.The primary tumors in pelvic cavity accounted for 78%.And ovarian metastasis from colon cancer was one of the most common in metastatic tumor.

10.Influence of Astragalus Injection on glomerular mesangial cells cultured with AGEs

AIM: To investigate the influence of Astragalus Injection on morphology,cell cycle and oxidative stress of rat's glomerular mesangial cells(GMC) cultured with advanced glycation end products(AGEs). METHODS: GMC were incubated in culture medium containing AGEs in the presence of Astragalus Injection and aminoguanidin for 48 h.At the same time,the normal and control groups were established.Then the cultured GMC was stained by mixed fluorescence liquid and observed under fluorescence microscope.Cell cycle of GMC was analyzed using flowcytometry.The activity of SOD、MDA and GSH-PX in GMC supernatant were measured by test kit.The level of ROS was detected by flowcytometry. RESULTS: Morphology analysis showed that the morphology and structure of normal GMC were normal.The structure of most cells in AGEs was unclear,cell counts increased markedly and they grew intensively.Cell cycle analysis showed that cell percentage of S phase increased and G_0/G_1 reduced.The level of ROS,MDA remarkably increased,and SOD,GSHPX activity reduced.Whereas Astragalus Injection was added,cell morphology tended to be basically normal and cell counts decreased,the percentage of S phase also decreased.The level of ROS,MDA and the SOD,GSH-PX activity restored in comparison with the control groups. CONCLUSION: Astragalus Injection can prevent GMC from lesion caused by AGEs.Astragalus Injection may protect GMC from retarding the progression of diabetic nepropathy by partially inhibiting the occurrence of oxidative stress.
