Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2000;0(11):-
Objective To compare the treatment effects and side events between chemoradiotherapy and radiotherapy alone for patients with primary cervical cancer. Methods Totally 197 patients with primary cervical cancer in our hospital from 2000 to 2006 were studied. They were divided into two groups: radiotherapy alone(RT)or cisplatin-based chemoradiotherapy(CRT).Group of RT included 100 patients who received external irradiation by ~(60)Co and intracavitary irradiation by ~(192)Ir.Group of CRT included 97 patients who received cisplatin-based chemoradiotherapy. The RT regimen was the same as group RT.Results The local control(CR+PR)in two groups had no statistic difference(P=0.500).The total 5 year survival rate in the two groups were 82% and 79%,with no significant difference(P=0.177);however,there was a significant difference for stage Ⅲ squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix, the 5 year survival rate being 56% and 84%,respectively(P

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the clinical feature, diagnostic and therapeutic methods of ultimobranchial fistula and cyst of thyroid.
METHOD:
Four cases of ultimobranchial fistula and cyst of thyroid in our hospital were reported and the relevant literatures were reviewed.
RESULT:
The branchial fistula and cyst of four cases were adhered to thyroid, with unclear anatomical landmarks, the function of recurrent laryngeal nerve were bad before the operation in two cases. The nerve of four cases were retained, the function of thyriod and parathyroid gland were normal and no recurrence were found.
CONCLUSION
Ultimobranchial fistula and cyst of thyroid is rare and is easier to be misdiagnosed and wrong treated. Surgical excision is effective for it and recurrent laryngeal nerve should be protected when performing the operation.

Chinese Journal of Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases 2006;0(05):-
Objective To discribe the epidemiological features of injury among the urban elderly in Tongzhou district in Beijing. Methods A random cluster sampling was used to collect information from two neighborhood committees in Tongzhou, the Xi-ying neighborhood committee and the Shang-ying neighborhood committee. The all elderly above 60 yrs in these two neighborhood committees were investigated by home or by collective survey. Results The overall prevalence rate of injury was 7.8%,and 5.7%for male and 10.3%for female(x~2=5.190,P

Objective To study the effect, safety and quality of life of different operation opportunity on the patients with ureteral calculi after extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy. Methods From July 2015 to September 2016,45 patients with ureteral calculi who received lithotomy after 2 times of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) in our hospital were selected as observation group.Another 45 cases who received more than 3 times of ESWL and turend to lithotomy at the same period were selected as control group. The clinical effect was compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.56% (43/45),which was significantly higher than 71.11% (32/45) of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (χ2=9.680;P=0.002).The incidence rates of obstruction(17.78%),infection (26.67%) and hydronephrosis (24.44%) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (42.22%,64.44% and 60.00%),the differences were statistically significant (χ2=6.402,12.947,11.660;P=0.011,0.000,0.001).The scores of diet [(83.2±12.6)points],spirit[(85.6±13.3)points],sleep[(87.3±15.4)points] and psychological score[(85.9±13.6)points] in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group [(75.1±11.4)points,(76.2±11.6)points,(77.4±13.2)points and (73.2±10.7)points],the differences were statistically significant (t=3.003,4.038,3.514,4.513;P=0.004,0.000,0.001,0.000).The satisfaction rate of patients(97.78%) of the observation group was significantly higher than 77.78% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (χ2=8.389;P=0.004).Conclusion Patients with ureteral calculi who received more than 2 times of ESWLand the stones in the body has not been effectively removed, should be accepted as soon as possible stone surgery treatment,it can improve the clinical effect, reduce the incidence of complications, improve the quality of life of patients.

Abstrac:Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of medpor-coated tear drain in lacrimal bypass surgery without skin incision. Methods The data of 7 patients(7 eyes) who underwent no skin incision of lacrimal bypass surgery with medpor-coated tear drain were ret-rospective reviewed. The operation result and complications were observed. Results All patients were followed up for 5~17 months. Com-plete or significant improvement of epiphora was achieved in 5 cases at the last follow-up. Complications included conjunctival granulation hy-perplasia (3 eyes),nasal mucosal granulation hyperplasia (2 eyes),and discomfort (4 eyes). Conclusion The lacrimal bypass surgery with medpor-coated tear drain could be expected to improve epiphora of refractory lacrimal obstruction. The main complications are granulation hyperplasia and discomfort.
