Objective To investigate the risk factors of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aneuryismal sub?arachnoid hemorrhage, aSAH) vasospasm (cerebral vasospasm, CVS) and provide the basis for the clinical prevention and treatment of CVS. Methods A retrospective analysis of clinical data was conducted on 255 cases aSAH patients receiving treatment between March 2012 and March 2014 in First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University Department of Neurosurgery, s treated. The clinical data included admission age, gender, ethnicity, history of hypertension, smoking his?tory, arterial tumor site, improved Fisher grading, admission Hunt-Hess grade, the dosage of Nimodipine, dehydrating agent, white blood cell count, blood glucose, blood lipids, blood calcium levels, platelet count. Univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic retrospective analysis were used to analyze the association between above-mentioned factors and the occurrence of CVS. Results A total of 73 cases developed CVS after aSAH and incidence rate of CVS was 28.6%. Uni?variate analysis showed that there were significant differences between patients with and without CVS in history of hyper? tension, smoking history, improved Fisher grade, admission Hunt-Hess grade, small doses of nimodipine, white blood cell count and blood glucose (P<0.05). The Logistic regression analysis showed that the history of hypertension, smoking history, improved Fisher grade, admission Hunt-Hess grade, a small dose of Nimodipine and white blood cell count were risk factors of CVS after aSAH (P<0.05). Conclusions the History of hypertension, smoking history, improved high Fish?er grade, high admission Hunt-Hess grade are independent risk factors of CVS after aSAH. A small dose of Nimodipine is a protective factor while increase in white blood cell count is a risk predictor, which should be controlled by enhancing clinical prevention.

Aim To explore the role of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate ( NADPH ) oxidase in high glucose-induced injury in H9c2 cardiac cells. Methods H9 c2 cardiac cells were exposed to differ-ent concentrations of high glucose(5. 5 mmol·L-1 ,11 mmol · L-1 ,22 mmol · L-1 ,33 mmol · L-1 ,44 mmol ·L-1 , 55 mmol · L-1 ) for 24 h and different time pints of high glucose(0 h,12 h,24 h,36 h,48 h,72 h) . Cell viability was measured by MTT colorimetry, the protein expression of Bcl-2 , Bax and NADPH oxi-dase submits such as p22 phox , p47 phox and p67 phox were determined by western blotting. Results H9c2 cardi-ac cells exposure to high glucose for 24 h showed on decrease in cell survival and the Bcl-2 expression while an increase in the Bax expression ( P<0. 05 ) . Moreo-ver, high glucose could markedly up-regulate the activ-ity of NADPH oxidase characterized by the enhanced expression of p22 phox , p47 phox and p67 phox ( P<0. 05 ) . Conclusion Activating NADPH oxidase may play an important role in high glucose-induced injury in H9 c2 cells.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of impulse oscillometry(IOS) in the patients with COPD. Methods The IOS parameters of 142 cases of COPD (COPD group) were measured and compared with those of 160 normal eases (control group). Linear correlation analysis was done between the IOS parameters and the conventional pulmonary function indexes such as FEV1 / Pred and FEV1/FVC, and the diagnostic value of the IOS parameters in COPD was discussed. Results Compared with those of the control group, respiratory impedance (Zrs),resistance at 5 Hz and 20 Hz (R5,R<<20>) and their difference (R5-R20), central resistance (Re) and peripheral resistance (Rp), resonance frequency (Fres)in the COPD group increased significantly, while reactance at 5 Hz (X5) decreased obviously (P< 0.01 ). In the COPD group, Zrs, Fres, R5, R20, R5-R20 and Rp were all correlated negatively with FEV1 / Pred, but X5 was correlated positively with FEV1/Pred. And the most strong correlation was found between Fres and FEV1/Pred. Fres, R5, R5-R20, Rp were correlated negatively with FEV1/FVC( P all < 0.05). Conclusions IOS is suitable for the diagnosis of COPD,and can be used to evaluate the severity of COPD. The application perspective is very extensive.

OBJECTIVETo investigate clinical effects of arthroscopy in the treatment of medial meniscal cyst.
METHODSFrom June 2011 to January 2013, 7 patients with medial meniscal cyst were treated with arthroscopy. There were 3 males and 4 females, ranging in age from 27 to 63 years old, with a mean age of (43.93±2.10) years old. The cysts have been discovered for 3 to 30 months, with a mean time of (10.6±1.3) months. All the patients complained of knee pain, especially in the medial joint gap. The Pisani sign, Caklin sign and medial McMurray sign were all positive. Preoperative MRI examination confirmed the diagnosis. Lysholm score changes and clinical efficacy were observed through a six-month follow-up.
RESULTSThe postoperative Lysholm scores were all significantly higher than the preoperative scores. According to Sarimo standard, 6 patients got an excellent result, and 1 good.
CONCLUSIONArthroscopic treatment of medial meniscal cyst has replaced the traditional method, which could retain the normal meniscus as much as possible and repair the meniscus injury simultaneously, as well as get a good curative effect and a good recovery of knee function. This method is worthy of clinical application.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(09):-
Objective To study the signal transduction pathway for myocyte contraction induced by Substance K (SK) in rats. Methods The fluorescent Ca 2+ indicator Fluo 3AM was used to quantitate the calcium signal directly in the primary cultured myocardial cells. Changes of free Ca 2+ concentration in cardiac myocytes were detected by flow cytometry. The phospholipase C (PLC) inhibitor, neomycin and IP3 receptor antagonist, heparin, were used to block signal system of phosphates Ca 2+ in order to investigate whether they took part in the SK induced changes of [Ca 2+ ]i in myocytes. Results SK(1.78?10 -5 mol/L) elevated [Ca 2+ ]i in myocytes. The effects could be blocked by neomycin and heparin. Conclusion SK can elevate [Ca 2+ ]i in myocyte, which may be mediated by a signal system of phosphates Ca 2+ .
