1.Current Status in Technique and Clinical Application of CO_2-DSA

Purpose:To evaluate clinical utility of carbon dioxide digital subtraction angiography(CO_2-DSA).Materials anti Methods:CO_2-DSA was performed in 85 patients including hepatic.renal,splenic,and super mesenterie arteriography in 75 cases,abdominal artefiography and extremity arteriography in 3 cases,direct portography in 6 cases, hepatic venography in 1 case.Delivery method met the behavior of the gas combination with optimal imaging technique and postprocessing method were applied in order to obtain image accuracy. The images quality of CO_2-DSA was then compared with that of conventional contrast agent arteriograms.Results:CO_2-DSA provided good visualization of the large vascular trunks and their 1st,2nd.grade branches of the target vessels,which could be beneficial for guiding interventional procedures.It was inferior to the conventional DSA in visualization of small vessels, however,CO_2-DSA was superior to conventional DSA in the detection of arterioportal shunts (APS),tumor blood sinuses(including Cavernous hemangioma),retrograde visualization of portal vein.The side effects were minimal.Conclusion:CO_2-DSA could provide accurate, clinical useful veseular images.CO_2-DSA is believed to be a safe and effective alternative to iodine contrast agent.
2.Comparison of curative effects of GnRH-a and mifepristone in treatment of endometriosis after laparoscopic operation

0bjective To compare the curative effects of GnRH-a and mifepristone in treatment of endometriosis after laparoscopic operation.Methods 114 cases of patients were selected from March 2012 to December 2014 in our hospital with endometriosis after laparoscopic surgery,randomly divided into mifepristone group,GnRH-a group and untreated group,each group for 38 cases.mifepristone group were treated by oral mifepristone one week after operation,25 mg,qd,continuing to take 6 months;GnRH-a group,post operative 1 week received injection of GnRH-a (Tamiflu)3.75 mg,once every 4 weeks,6 times in a row;The untreated group,fails to drug treatment.To compare the symptoms,relapse rate pregnancy rate and serum hormones including FSH, LH and E2 levels.Results After treatment, the total effective rate of GnRH-a and mifepristone group is significantly higher than the untreated group(P<0.05),and the recurrence rate is lower than the untreated group(P <0.05),the pregnancy rate is higher than the untreated groups(P<0.05).The recurrence rate,the remission rate and the pregnancy rate of mifepristone group are lower than the untreated group,there was no statistical significance.Conclusion Mifepristone and GnRH-a can both,effectively reduce the recurrence rate after EMT laparoscopic surgery,can guarantee the pregnancy rate,reduce the adverse reaction.
3.Diagnosis value of PP65 antigenemia assay in febrile children with cytomegalovirus infection

Objective To evaluate diagnosis value of PP65 antigenaemia assay(AA) on cytomegalovirus(CMV) infection in febrile children.Method One hundred and twenty-eight febrile children with febrile duration between one to two weeks,their blood preparations and urine aliquots were screened,indirect IF staining(antigen PP65),ELISA(CMV-IgM) and light microscope(urinary cytomegalic inclusion).Three methods above mentioned were used in all patients.Result The positive rate of PP65 antigenaemia,CMV-IgM and urinary cytomegalic inclusion was 17.2%,8.6%,6.3%,respectively.The positive coincidence rate of PP65 antigen with CMV-IgM and PP65 antigen with urinary cytomegalic inclusion was 50%(11/22),36%(8/22),respectively.Nineteen childrens antigenaemia PP65 became negative with patient′s condition improved.Three children′s PP65 antigenaemia remained positive,when they were clinic cured.Two of them became negative after two weeks and one after three weeks.Conclusion Antigenaemia PP65 is effective in early diagnosis of active CMV infection,predicting patient′s condition and providing early intervention and treatment.
4.The Experimental Study on the Safety of Domestic-Made CO_2 as a Vascular Contrast Agent

5.Application of activatable cell-penetrating peptide in the field of tumor therapy.

Cell-penetrating peptide (CPP) is a kind of small molecular peptide which can pass through a variety of cell membranes. It can carry bioactive macromolecules into cells. Due to lacking of tissue-selecting and targeting behavior, the application of CPP in the field of tumor treatment is limited. Activatable cell- penetrating peptide (ACPP) has brought the dawn to the application of CPP. This review mainly introduces the applications of ACPP in the targeting antitumor drug delivery which was designed based on the differences between tumor microenvironment and normal tissues as well as the exogenous physical stimulation.

7.Changes of serum cytokines and the impact of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy before and after the intervention of neonates with asphyxia

ObjectiveTo explore serum interleukin-6 ( IL-6),interleukin-8 ( IL-8 ),tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) on neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) in the pathogenesis of clinical significance before and after the intervention of neonates with asphyxia.Methodsforty cases of normal neonates were selected as normal group,70 cases of neonates with asphyxia were selected as asphyxia group and they were randomly divided into Fructose-1,6-diphosphate (FDP)group (conventional treatment combined with FDP,n =40) and control group ( conventional treatment,n =30 ).Patients in the conventional treatment group were maintained good ventilation function,their heart rate,blood pressure were in normal range,and their blood sugar were in normal high-value.And measures were taken to control convulsions,increase intracranial pressure and eliminate the brainstem symptoms. Patients in the Fructose-1,6-diphosphate (FDP) group were treated with intravenous FDP injection 250 mg/( kg · d)within 6h after birth in addition to the conventional treatment,and the course was 10 days.No special treatment was given to the healthy control group,and they returned to hospital for a return visit after discharged form hospital at the birth of the 10th day.The level of IL-8,IL-6 and TNF-α were monitored in three groups after they were born 6 h,3 d and 10 d,and 72 h HIE incidence rate were observed.Results There was no significant difference on the level of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α within 6 h after birth in asphyxia group ( P > 0.05 ).Within 3 days after birth,IL-6 level was lower than that in the normal group [ (2.22 ± 1.26) ng/L vs ( 3.04 ± 0.98 ) ng/L,P < 0.05 ],IL-8,TNF-α levels were higher than those in the normal group [ ( 18.62 ± 14.56)ng/L vs ( 15.62 ± 11.25 ) ng/L,(50.28 ± 18.74 ) ng/L vs (42.02 ± 12.25 )ng/L,P <0.05 ].In FDP group,within 3 days after birth,the level of IL-6 was higher than that in control group [ (2.65 ± 1.13 ) ng/L vs ( 1.24 ± 1.06) ng/L,P < 0.05 ],the levels of IL-8 and TNF-α were significantly lower than those in the control group [ ( 17.24 ± 12.48 ) ng/L vs (22.46 ± 10.88 ) ng/L,(44.62 ± 18.27 ) ng/L vs (54.25 ± 17.28)ng/L,P <0.01 ] ;There was no significant difference on the level of IL-6 on the 10th day after birth among the three groups ( P > 0.05 ).While in the FDP group,the levels of IL-8 and TNF-αwere significantly lower than those in the control group [ ( 14.25 ± 12.75 ) ng/L vs ( 17.23 ± 11.33 ) ng/L,(37.41 ±17.55)ng/L vs (48.21 ± 16.54)ng/L,P < 0.01 ] ;The incidence of HIE and moderate to severe HIE in FDP group were significantly lower than that in the control group ( 22.5% ( 9/40 ) vs 46.7% ( 14/30 ),x2 =4.538,P<0.05;5%(2/40)vs26.7%(8/30),x2 =4.595,P <0.05].ConclusionBlood level of IL-6 was lower and the level of IL-8 and TNF-α were higher in perinatal asphyxia and HIE patients,they may be involved in the pathogenesis of HIE.Early intervention can reduce the incidence of HIE and the incidence of severe HIE.
8.Progress in the Study of Chemokine CXCL9/Mig

Chemokine CXCL9/Mig (monokine induced by IFN-?) belongs to the subfamily of chemotactic cytokines known as CXC-chemokines. In vivo CXCL9 is mainly induced by IFN-? in macrophages and primary glial cells. In vitro, CXCL9 can be secreted by cells such as macrophages, microvascular endothelial cells and neutrophils, in response to the synergy of IFN-? and TLR(toll-like receptor) ligands. CXCL9 is a chemoattractant for activated T lymphocytes, tumor-infiltrating T-lymphocytes, but not for neutrophils or monocytes. The receptor specific for CXCL9 is CXCR3, a G protein-coupled protein which has seven transmembrane domain. The structure and the chemical characterization of CXCL9, as well as its effects on autoimmune deseases, allograft rejection, cancer therapy were reviewed.
9.Expression and significance of toll-like receptor 4 in the uvea of endotoxin induced uveitis

Objective To investigate the expression and significance of Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)in the uvea of endotoxin in- duced uveitis.Design Experimental study.Participants 12 Wistar rats were divided into two groups at random,a group(n=6)of endo- toxin induced uveitis(EIU)and a control group(n=6).Methods Cholera vibrio was injected into hind footpad and abdominal cavity in the EIU group.In the control group,cholera vibrio was replaced by PBS.Anterior segment of the rats eyes were observed by slit lamp microscope at 4h,10h,16h,24h after injection.Immunohistochemical staining was performed using polyclonal antibodies to TLR4 on the frozen sections of the eyes and uveal wholemounts at 24 hours after LPS injection.Main Outcome Measures The inflammation of anterior segment and the number of TLR4 positive cells in uveal wholemounts.Results The inflammation began at 4h after LPS injec- tion.Cellulose exudates were observed at 16h after injection.The positive-stained protein located in cellular membrane or cytoplasm. The number of TLR4 positive cells in EIU group is evidently higher than that in the control group.TLR4 positive cells were hardly de- tected in the frozen sections of eyes.Conclusion TLR4 expression increases in the EIU,which suggests that TLR4 probably participates in the formation and development of acute anterior uveitis.(Ophthalmol CHN,2008,17:48-51)
10.Association of serum Cystatin C,hypersensitive C reactive protein level and the carotid intima-media thickness in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Objective To explore the relationship between serum Cystatin C (CysC) ,hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) level and the carotid intima-media thickness(IMT) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) .Methods 85 patients with T2DM were divided into two groups according to IM T level :Normal IM T group and IM T increased group .40 healthy people were chosen as control .The level of CysC and hs-CRP were measured and IMT of the carotid artery was determined by color Doppler ul-trasonography in 85 diabetics and 40 normal subjects .Results The CysC levels in IMT increased group was higher than normal IMT group and control group(P<0 .05) .The hs-CRP level in IMT increased group was higher than that in the normal IMT group and control group(P<0 .01) .The analysis of correlation indicated that the level of hs-CRP had positive correlation with IMT .And there was no association between serum CysC level and carotid IMT (r=0 .104 ,P>0 .05) .Conclusion There is no definite correla-tion between serum CysC level and carotid IMT in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus .Serum CysC level is not predictive index in carotid intima-media thickness of T2DM .Inflammatory play an important role in early carotid atherosclerosis in patients with T2DM .
