1.New concept and progress of surgery for pediatric anorectal malformation in China.
Chinese Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery 2011;14(10):741-743
Congenital anorectal malformation(CAM) is one of the most common colorectal diseases in children. Anoplasty has been the only treatment. Because of the fact that anorectal malformation is constantly complicated with congenital defect in the nerve and musculature, postoperative difficulty in defecation is common. Poor long-term quality of life of these affected children is a burden to the children, family, and society. With the advance of modern medicine, emphasizing the functional recovery after anatomical reconstruction of anorectum and conduction of individualized biofeedback training program to improve the defecatory function and long-term quality of life are the new treatment concepts and important progress. Novel methods for the prevention and treatment of CAM are still under exploration.

2.Co-culture mode of tissue-engineered tracheal epithelial cells and fibroblasts: Comparison with routine culture
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(15):-
AIM: To establish the co-culture mode of tissue-engineered tracheal seeding cells, and compare with the routine culture, so as to provide the fundament of tissue-engineered trachea construction by cell compound materials. METHODS: The experiment was completed at the laboratory, Department of Respiratory Diseases, Tangdu Hospital, the Fourth Military Medical University of Chinese PLA from May 2006 to May 2007.①Three healthy New Zealand male rabbits, weighed (250.00?0.75) g, were used in this study.②Co-culture mode: The tracheal epithelial cells and fibroblasts were isolated and then co-cultured for 7-10 days. The two kinds of cells were distinguished according to their different tolerances to trypsin. Subsequently, A hole received 0.5 g/L trypsinization, cells were suspended in DMEM medium containing 0.05 volume fraction of CO2 and then transplanted into B hole (fibroblasts); again, A hole was added with 2.5 g/L trypsin for digestion, afterwards cells were suspended with K-FSM medium and transplanted into C hole (tracheal epithelial cells). Routine culture: after isolation, tracheal epithelial cells were cultured and fibroblasts were purified, respectively.③The co-cultured cells and the traditionally cultured cells were compared via cell growth curve and cell proliferation detected by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazo-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. RESULTS: ①Cell growth: Co-cultured cells grew well, those in A hole increased intercellular apace after trypsinization, while cells in B hole were shaped as fusiform, without the manifestation of typical road stone-like cells, and cells in C hole were apposite, showing lamellar road stone-like morphology.②Cell growth curve: The growth curve of co-cultured cells was identical with that of cells by routine culture method.③Cell proliferation: MTT detection revealed no significant difference in the proliferation of co-cultured cells and cells cultured by traditional method (P

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(07):-
Functional constipation(FC) in childhood is characterized by a low defecation frequency in combination with either involuntary loss of stools(encopresis),passage of large amounts of stool, retentive posturing,or hard and often painful defecation. It represents 3%-5% of general pediatric outpatient visits and up to 25% of pediatric gastroenterology consultations.FC is a diagnosis made by history and physical examination. No testing is necessary or desirable. The decision to seek medical care for symptoms arises from a parent′s or caretaker′s concern for children. The caretaker′s threshold for concern varies with his or her experiences and expectations, coping style, and perception of illness, till now there is not an universal native criteria established in spite of much has been done in it.The criteria used are still to draw assistance from the foreign standard, among which the classic criteria, the Rome Ⅱ and Rome Ⅲ criteria are considered commonly used. The purpose of this paper is to descript the several foreign criteria, and to make comparison among them, and to explore their applicability and effectiveness in childhood FC
8.Application of continuous sutures for nasal septum after septoplasty.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2016;30(5):381-382
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the efficacy and safety of nasal septal suture in septoplasty.
METHOD:
Sixty patients who had undergone septoplasty were allocated into two groups: packing group and suturing group. Post-operative signs and symptoms (visual analogue scale) were compared between the two groups.
RESULT:
The patients of packing group experienced significantly more postoperative pain, epiphora, tinnitus, ear fullness, sleep disturbance and nasal congestion(P<0. 05). No statistically significant difference between two groups in hemorrhage (P>0. 05).
CONCLUSION
Nasal septum continuous suture is a feasible method to replace nasal packing after septoplasty.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(03):-
Objective To observe the changes in NO content and NOS activity of serum and the testis in Wistar rats with type I diabetes mellitus. Methods 63 rats were randomly divided into control group(C) and diabetes group(D). Diabetes was induced by intraperitoneal injection of Alloxan. Rats with diabetes were observed for 1 week(D 1), 2 weeks(D 2), 3 weeks(D 3), 4 weeks(D 4), 5 weeks(D 5), 6 weeks(D 6), 7 weeks(D 7) and 8 weeks(D 8), respectively, and they were sacrificed at the end of each observation period. Serum was obtained and testis homogenates were prepared, and the levels of NO content and NOS activity of them were determined respectively. Results Compared diabetes group with control group, NO contents and NOS activity of serum from diabetic rats were higher, then NOS activity began to decline to approach the control level. In the testis homogenates, NO content dropped slightly after injection of Alloxan, while NOS activity showed no significant change. Thereafter, both NO content and NOS activity of testis homogenates were increased. Conclusion There are changes in NO content and NOS activity of serum and testis of rats after diabetes are induced with Alloxan.

Considering a variety of theories such like Dunkin's, Centra's and Kolitch's, a set of 13 indicators are designed to evaluate effect of courses taken in high education of China currently, compro-mised by chief aspects of course designing, practicing, and effect. Three courses including medical nursing, humanistic cultivation and communication skills in nursing and fundamentals of nursing in a nursing de-partment are chosen to be objects of questionnaire survey about the above indicators. The results show that there are significant differences in curriculum effectiveness between different courses. The scores are 2.81, 2.80 and 2.60 respectively, and teachers and students have different evaluation on the same indicators of the same curriculum, which provides a reference for teachers, colleges and universities and teaching management departments to promote the improvement of teaching quality.
