0.05).Histopathological examination showed no pathological change in the brain, liver, kidneys, and spleen of the mice, but reduced spermatogenic cells spermatozoa. The sperm motility was(40.58?7.75)% in the control,(7.40?1.06)% in the experiment group 1(q=16.909,P0.05).No significant difference in the sperm densities was found among the groups. Conclusions Intermediated alternating magnetic field has adverse effects on the reproduction of mice.Testosterone is one of the target organs of electromagnetic radiation. It is sensitive to IF magnetic field(40 kHz,28 mT).Blood, brain, liver, kidney and spleen of mice are not effected by IF alternating magnetic field.

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(04):-
Objective To observe the effect of iodine deficiency and hypothyroidism on the protein expressions of CREB in the entorhinal cortex of pups. Methods Twenty-eight female Wistar clean rats after pregnancy were randomly divided into control group, hypothyroid 1,2 group and iodine deficient group(7 in each group). From GD6 till PN28,iodine-deficient group was administered with iodine-deficient diet [iodine content:(14.11 ?1.96) ng/g] and tap water;hypothyroid 1 and 2 group were administered with 5 mg/L and 15 mg/L PTU in the drinking water and fed with normal diet [iodine content:(470.50?46.52) ng/g].Control group received tap water and normal diet during the experiment.Five pups from each group were sacrificed and intracardiac perfused at PN7,PN14,PN21,PN28 and PN42.Brains were removed, fixed and sectioned coronally. All sections were observed and were analyzed for the protein expression of CREB by immunohistochemistry in the entorhinal cortex. Results At PN7,there was no significant difference in the expression of Ng in all four groups. At PN14 and PN21,the expression of CREB in the entorhinal cortex in hypothyroid 1,2 group and iodine deficient group were significantly lower than those of controls(P

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of irregular antibody screening positive patients in the blood transfusion. Methods From September 2003 to September 2012,5 260 samples of blood test were given pre-transfusion irregular antibody detection, and the patients with positive antibody screening were statistically analyzed. Results Of 5 260 samples,38 cases (6.8%) had irregular antibodies, the difference between males and females was statistically significant(x2 =2.646,P < 0.05).The Rh blood group had the highest proportion in irregular antibodies;pregnancy history and history of blood transfusion group, pregnancy history group, history of blood transfusion group were significantly higher than those without history of pregnancy and transfusion history groups, the difference was statistically significant (x2 =28.827,P < 0.05).Conclusion Screening of irregular antibodies plays an important role in the safety of clinical blood transfusion.

Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2011;29(2):97-100
Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is a hereditary disease characterized by the progressive loss of photoreceptor cells. Disease pathology primarily affects rod photoreceptor cells first but light-insensitive cone photoreceptor bodies can survivor longer. Delivered by adeno-associated viral vector or lentiviral vector, expression of microbial-type rhodopsin, channelrhodopsin-2 or archaebacterial halorhodopsin in the survived retinal cells can substitute for the native phototransduction cascade in mouse models of retinitis pigmentosa. It can also restore light sensitivity and activate all retinal cone pathways and drive sophisticated retinal circuit functions. Thus, expression of channelrhodopsins or halorhodopsin might be a potential strategy for the restoration vision of patients with RP.

A molecularly imprinted film ( MIF) was prepared on the surface plasmon resonance ( SPR) sensor chip for the detection of testosterone. The nanometer imprinted film was synthesized by surface grafting approach. First, the gold sensor chip was modified with an iniferter of benzyl diethyldithiocarbamate to create the “grafting from” polymeric surface. Grafting of the MIF onto the SPR chip was subsequently achieved through ultraviolet light-initiated copolymerization of methacrylic acid ( functional monomer ) and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate ( crosslinker ) in the presence of testosterone as a model template. The template molecules were then removed to form a MIF with specific recognition sites for testosterone. With this iniferter technique , self-aggregation in the reaction solution phase was avoided and grafting polymerization was confined to the exterior of the chip surface. The grafting process was implemented by in situ monitoring with SPR, which permitted the thickness of the film to be easily and strictly controlled. The chip surface modified with a testosterone-imprinted film was characterized by the methods of polarization modulation infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy ( PM-IRRAS ) and atomic force microscopy ( AFM ) . According to the results, testosterone-imprinted film modification of the SPR chip was achieved by the distribution of numerous homogeneous, nanoscale holes on the surface. The testosterone-imprinted film was applied on a SPR sensor chip for the detection of testosterone in the range of 2 . 5 í 10-16 to 2 . 5 í 10-6 mol/L in acetonitrile with the lowest determining concentration of 2. 5 í 10-16 mol/L. Adsorption experiments showed that there were two kinds of binding sites in the MIF, and the linear correlations between the changes in reflectivity and the concentration of testosterone were y=19. 69 + 1. 21x(R2=0. 9913) and y=11. 5 + 0. 45x(R2=0. 9895), respectively. Control experiments utilizing estradiol, estriol, and progesterone as analogues showed impressive selectivity and specificity for testosterone determination. The testosterone-imprinted film reproducibility was evaluated with five cycles of rinsing-rebinding and the RSD was 16 . 8% and 11 . 2% for the SPR angle changes in rinsing and rebinding respectively, demonstrating that the MIF-modified SPR sensor had good reproducibility and repeatability. Finally, the SPR sensor was successfully used to determine testosterone in artificial urine samples with recoveries from 85 . 2% to 92 . 8%.
9.Diffusion tensor tractography quantitative assessment of the damage of corticospinal tract in acute intracerebral hemorrhage
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2009;25(7):1163-1166
Objective To investigate the value of diffusion tensor tractography (DTT) quantitative assessment of corticospinal tract (CST) damage in acute intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Methods Thirty-two patients were enrolled in this study. DTT was obtained in early stage of ICH. The CST was reconstructed with Volume One 1.64 and diffusion Tensor Visualizer (dTV) software from Tokyo University. The compression, the displacement, the destruction, and the relative remaining number of the CST were calculated. Results The compression, the displacement and the destruction of the CST were observed in DTT images in all patients. The correlation coefficient between remaining number of the CST and score of Fugl-Meyer after the onset of ICH was 0.75 (P<0.01). Conclusion DTT can quantitatively evaluate the state of CST injury in acute ICH.

Objective To investigate the cardio-protective effects of fructose-1,6-diphosphate on myocardium during coronary artery bypass graft. Methods A total of 30 patients were treated with coronary artery bypass graft(CABG) and divided into group A(treated group) and group B(control group) randomly. Each group included 15 patients. In the treated group, patients were treated with FDP three days before CABG and treated with FDP before cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB).FDP was replaced by 0.154mol/L NaCl of the same volume in control group.Blood samples were collected from all patients after induction and at 1h,4h,24h and 48h after aortic declamping to measure the serum concentration of cTnI,CK-MB,SOD and MDA.Results The levels of CK-MB and cTnI at 1h,4h,24h and MDA at 1h,4h after reperfusion were significantly lower in the treated group than those in the control group(P
