3.Will Chinese ovarian cancer patients benefit from knowing the BRCA2 mutation status?
Chinese Journal of Cancer 2012;31(1):1-4
In Western countries, the mutation status of the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes is commonly determined for genetic counseling among members of families with a history of breast or ovarian cancer, especially for women of the Ashkenazi Jewish ethnicity. Recent studies in the Cancer Genome Atlas project have demonstrated that BRCA2 mutation carriers are more responsive to platinum-based chemotherapy among high-grade serous ovarian cancer patients. Thus, in Western countries, the mutation status of BRCA1 and BRCA2 is recognized to have an important value with which to assess cancer risk and therapeutic response. However, very limited studies of BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations and their implications for counseling and therapeutic prediction have been conducted in China. Therefore, a potentially important genetic test that is technically simple has not benefited Chinese women with an increased risk of breast or ovarian cancer. This article summarizes the current progress in the study of BRCA1/2 mutation in China and recommends an increased effort in applying advances in genetic testing to the clinical management of Chinese patients with ovarian cancer.

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2015;24(11):1026-1028
Objective To explore the decision-making process in different types of behavioral activation (BAS) individuals. Methods According to the behavioral inhibition/activation system scales of China,27 low BAS,32 moderate BAS and 26 high BAS individuals were enrolled.Three different kinds of decision tasks (low-risk,high-risk and ambiguity) were programmed with E-Prime,at the same time recorded the scores of earnings, preference selection,decision-making strategy. Results Under low-risk decision, there was significant differences among low, moderate and high BAS groups (low BAS group(54.00±8.15),moderate BAS group(32.63±8.94),high BAS group(27.69±12.12),F=2.240,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the three groups on preference selection (F=0.759-2.926,P> 0.05).Under low-risk decision, there were significant differences on stay strategy (low BAS>moderate BAS,high BAS group,F=3.107,P<0.05) and shift strategy(moderate BAS,high BAS>low BAS group,F=2.309,P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference on quit strategy in the three groups (F=0.629-1.635,P>0.05).Conclusion Under the low-risk decision-making,low BAS individuals are easier to get more earnings.Moderate and high BAS individuals are easier to change the decision-making strategy than low BAS individuals.
5.Study Progress of Cluster A in Homeobox Gene Family and Its Relationship with Leukemia
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1993;0(03):-
Homeobox(HOX) gene is a kind of regulatory gene, which can regulate the embryonic development and cell differentiation, and participate in the regulation and control of hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell proliferation, differentiation and maturation, etc.Cluster A in HOX gene family is the master gene for proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells, which has an influence on the number of hematopoietic stem cells and the differentiation of hematopoietic stem cell into erythroid, myeloid, megakaryocytic and lymphatic system, and has a relationship with the generation of leukemia. In this article, study progress of Cluster A in HOX gene family and its relationship with leukemia were briefly stated.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2006;10(10):168-170
BACKGROUND: The effect of cognitive therapy on psychological stress is not remarkable and optimal. Some psychocatharsis through physical activities cannot be accepted by many clients.OBJECTIVE: To explore an effective method to treat and relieve psychological stress.DESIGN: A controlled (the blank control and the self-control) observation study and single blind trial.SETTING: Department of Preventive Medicine, Medical College of Jinagsu University.PARTICIPANTS: Clients who suffered from emotional suppression or nervous stress would be tested with "psychological stress test". Forty clients, with scores over 5, were selected as the subjects. They were randomly divided into two groups matching of ages and scores: control group (n=20) and experimental group (n=20).METHODS: Clients in the control group were treated with common cognitive therapy by means of talking, and those in the experimental group accepted a sing a song loudly therapy. The song named as Qinghai-Tibet Plateau was selected for the treatment. The clients were requested to sing the song loudly in order to release their stress and vent their repression. The psychologist used the language introduction by background music to make a client under a special kind of psychological situation and emotional state when the music was played for one to two times. Then the psychologist would turn up gradually the volume of sound to the maximum when the music was played for the third time. The volume from the VCD would overwhelm that from the client's voice in order to cover up the singer's shyness. The client sung the song of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau loudly for four to five times. The therapeutic room was required to have a blanch curtain. The sound insulation also was required. The soundscape of the loudspeakers should be wide. The power magnifier should be strong. The loudspeaker should be high fidelity. The questionnaire of psychological stress test was adopted in both groups before and after therapy respectively. It had 30 items for the self-diagnosis of symptoms. The client was diagnosed as a low stress if his or her score reached 5, 11-20 as sever stress, and above 21 as adaptability disorder.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Scores of stress level were observed before and after therapy in both groups.RESULTS: The scores in the control group before and after therapy were approximately the same (15.6±5.3 vs 14.7±4.8, t=1.739, P > 0.05). The scores in the experimental group after therapy was significantly lower than those before therapy (11.6±5.8 vs 15.5±6.1, t=9.863, P < 0.05). After therapy, the scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group (11.6±5.8 vs 14.7±4.8, t=4.811, P < 0.05).CONCLUSION: Sing a song loudly is an effective method that is easy to operate in treating psychological stress.

Chinese Medical Ethics 1996;0(01):-
The patient-physician relationship can be understood from the two aspects of patients′ trust and patients′ satisfaction.Compared with patients′ satisfaction, dimensions and attributes of patients′ trust indicate to better match with the measuring capacity of patients. Thus, the evaluation of the quality of medical services based on patients′ trust is justified theoretically. The existing literatures assert that the research on patients′ trust could help understand patient-physician relationship and eventually improve the quality of medical services. The conceptual model in this paper entails the concept, dimensions and attributes of patients′ trust. Also, this paper points out its effect on the measurement of the quality of medical services through the comparison of patients′ trust and patients′ satisfaction.
