[Summary] The article reported 107 cases of bile duct residual stones treated by plasma shock wave lithotripsy with inverse flush under fiber choledochoscope via T-tube fistula.Of the 107 patients, stones were completely removed in 98 patients, and residual stones remained in 9.Intraoperative biliary hemorrhage occurred in 5 cases, which were stopped after spraying the norepinephrine . There were 4 cases of arhythmia , 13 cases of subcostal or upper abdominal pain , and 11 cases of abdominal distention and diarrhea , all of which were cured by symptomatic treatment .Postoperative biliary infection occurred in 7 cases, which were cured by anti-infection and biliary drainage.Except for 1 patient of lost of follow-up, 106 patients were followed for 6 months.Ultrasound and CT examinations showed free of calculus in 101 cases, and intrahepatic bile duct residual stones in 5 cases.We deem that plasma shock wave lithotripsy combined with reverse flushing under fiber choledochoscope is a minimally invasive , safe, and effective treatment for difficult biliary residual stones .

Objective To explore the value f high sensitive c-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and CD4/CD8 ratio for monitoring of lung infection in elderly patients with esophageal cancer through detecting hs-CRP ,white blood cell (WBC)parameters and CD4 /CD8 ratio .Methods A total of 89 lung infection elderly patients with esophageal cancer after surgery from August 2012 to Decem-ber 2014 were collected as observation group ,special protein instrument ,blood cell analyzer and flow cytometry instrument were used to detect the hs-CRP ,WBC parameters ,CD4/CD8 ratio ,and compared with 82 cases of retired veteran cadres physical exami-nation for the same period in the control group .Results The hs-CRP ,WBC parameters ,CD4/CD8 in the preoperative group and the control group had no significant difference (P> 0 .05) .The three indicators in the preoperative group ,infection group and 3 days group had significant differences (P < 0 .05) ,although CD4/CD8 ratio in the cure group improved ,had not been completely im-proved .Conclusion Hs-CRP in diagnosis and monitoring of therapeutic efficacy is better than WBC parameters ,in the treatment of lung infection in elderly patients with esophageal cancer ,besides use the anti-infection treatment ,promote immune function recovery should not be ignored .

Objective To investigate the immunological effects of human keratin 17 (K17) on T lymphocytes from psoriatic patients. Methods Total RNA was extracted from the epidermis of psoriatic lesions, and mRNA was reversely transcribed to cDNA. The K17 gene was amplified by PCR and inserted into pGEX-4T-1 expression vector, and then K17 was expressed and purified. T cells were isolated and purified by gra-dient centrifugation and AET-SRBC (2-aminoethylosothiouronium bromide-treated sheep red blood cells) precipitation. MTT assay and direct cell counting method were used to detect the proliferation of T cells. The concentration of IFN- in culture supernatant was measured by ELISA. Objective To study the elongation factor 1α(EF-1α) gene functions in prostate cancer cell line DU145 in the aspects of cell proliferation and clone formation by using the RNA interference technique. Methods DU145 cell lines were divided into control group, transfection control group transfected with scramble siRNA and experimental group transfected with EF-1α siRNA. After transfecting EF-1α siRNA into DU145 cell line, the down-regulation of EF-la expression in DU145 cell line was confirmed by Western blotting and immunofluorescence staining. Then, the cell proliferation and clone formation assays were carried on in these 3 groups of DU145 cells. Results Compared with controls, the specific down-regulation of EF-1α expression was achieved in experimental group only. Compared with control group, after the down-regualtion of EF-1α in DU145 cell line, the cell proliferation rate decreased from day 4 to day 7 after transfection by 45. 9%, 53. 5% , 35. 3% and 38. 1% , respectively(P<0. 05). The clone formation number in experimental group decreased by 67.0% (P<0. 01). Conclusions The down-regulation of EF-1α has a negative impact on prostate cancer cell proliferation and clone formation. EF-1α might be an appropiate targeting gene in prostate cancer targeting therapy.

Objective To study the effect of down-rdgulation of EF-1 alpha gene in prostate cancer cell line DU-145 on cancer cell migration and invasion by using RNA interference technique. Methods The prostate cancer cell line DU-145 was divided into three groups: the control group (untransfected with siRNA), randomly control group (randomly transfected with siRNA) and experimental group (transfected with EF-1 alpha siRNA). Localization of EF-1 alpha and its relationship with F-actin in cytoplasm were analyzed by immunofluorescence technique. Cancer cell migration and invasion capability of DU145 cells were studied by transwell technique in these three groups. Results EF-1 alpha expression in DU145 cell line was down-regulated by using RNA interference technique. EF-1 alpha was localized in cytoplasm and co-located with F-actin. The down-regualtion of EF-1 alpha did not change the F-actin distribution in cytoplasm. The cell migration and invasion study showed that after seeding 20×104 DU145 cells into the upper chamber of transwall for 12 hours, the cells collected in the lower chambers were (10.6±1.0)×104 in control group, (11.2±0.8)×104 in randomly control group and (3.9±0.6)×104 in experimental group. Compared with controls, the cancer cell migration and invasion capability was significantly inhibited to only 37.1% (t= 13.9, P<0.05) after the specific down-regulation of EF-1 alpha expression in DU145 cells. Conclusions The down-regulation of EF-1 alpha expression has negative impacts on prostate cancer cell migration and invasion. EF-1 alpha plays important roles in prostate cancer local invasion.

The development of the imaging technology enables diagnostic methods of detect intracranial aneurysms diversified. In recent years, the diagnosis of aneurysms was confirmed by digital subtraction angiography (DSA) which was regarded as the "gold standards". However, CT angiography (CTA), which appears as a fast, non-invasive, and easily achievable examination, is becoming as a new option in clinic. With the development of the CT facility and upgrade of the workstation software, CTA is more widely used in both diagnosing and treating intracranial aneurysm. This article reviews the sensitivity and specificity of CTA in the detection of intracranial aneurysms, and systematically analyzes its advantages and disadvantages as well as its development, imaging methods.

Modern research showed that Clinopodii Herba contains triterpenes and its saponins, flavones, volatile oil, phenylpropanoids and other chemical components. It has many pharmacological activities such as hemostasis, antibiosis, hypoglycemic activity, anti-oxidation, and anti-in-flammation. The main clinical application of Clinopodii Herba is for the treatment of various types of bleeding. After searching literatures on Clinopodii Herba for the recent 20 years, this article reviewed the chemical components, pharmacological activities, clinical application and research condition of Clinopodii Herba in order to provide further references for this medicine.

This study was aimed to evaluate the quality ofYuan-Hu Zhi-Tong (YHZT) tablet from different manufacturers by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) fingerprint. An HPLC method was developed to establish the fingerprint of 12 batches of YHZT from 10 manufacturers. The common peaks were confirmed by mass spectrometric analysis. Similarity analysis (SA), hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) and principal component analysis (PCA) were applied to analyze the fingerprint chromatography. The results showed that there were 15 common peaks in which 12 components were from Corydalis Rhizoma and 3 from Radix Angelicae Dahuricae. The similar degrees of 12 batches of YHZT tablet were between 0.498 and 0.999. Based on the values, they could fall into three groups. The result of HCA showed that 12 batches of samples could be divided into 3 classes. The results of PCA indicated that the first three principal components (PCs) could represent the 15 common peaks. According to the scores of 3 PCs, 12 batches of samples could be divided into three categories. The classification result was mainly affected by the components of Corydalis Rhizoma. The classification results of three methods were basically the same. Based on the combination of three methods, 12 samples can be divided into three grades in the aspect of quality. It was concluded that the quality differences of YHZT tablet from different manufacturers were obvious. The combining application of three methods can be used in the evaluation on fingerprint of samples from different sources and influence factor analysis. It can be used as an effective method for quality evaluation.
