1.Xinnaoxuemianning Combined with Statins on Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaque in Patients with Cerebral Infarction
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(9):65-66,69
Objective To investigate the effects of Xinnaoxuemianning combined with statins on carotid atherosclerotic plaque in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods 180 cerebral infarction patients were divided into the observation group (90cases) and the control group (90cases) by random number table method. The control group was given atorvastatin calcium tablets and the observation group was given additionally Xinnaoxuemianning. The changes and prognosis of carotid atherosclerotic plaques were evaluated before and after treatment, and the incidence of adverse reactions was counted. Results There were no differences in the carotid atherosclerotic plaque, TCM syndrome score and neurological deficit severity between the two groups before treatment. After treatment, the above indexes were significantly improved, and the increasing degree of the observation group was better than that of the control group. The incidence rate of adverse reactions was lower in the observation group than that in the control group (5.56% vs.13.33%) (P<0.05). Conclusion Xinnaoxuemianning can reduce the carotid atherosclerotic plaque area and correct the unstable plaques in patients with cerebral infarction.

Objective To investigate the effects of antibody against heat shock protein (HSP) B of Helicobactor pylori (H. pylori) on H.pylori associated gastric disease for the study of the relationship between serum antibody to HSP B of H.pylori and the pathologic changes of the gastric mucosa. Methods 1 036 patients from Shandong province were collected. Six hundred patients were infected with H.pylori. Of those, three hundred received triple therapy for eradication of H.pylori and the other received placebo. Five years later, patients with H.pylori positive chronic superficial gastritis, chronic atrophic gastritis, peptic ulcer, and H.pylori negative chronic superficial gastritis underwent gastroscopy and collected serum specimens again, each group had 20 patients. The Western blot techniques were used to assay antibody to HSP B of H.pylori in sera of these patients. Results The H. pylori positive patients with chronic superficial gastritis ( 0.505 ? 0.061 ) had higher titers of anti H.pylori HSP B IgG antibody compared with those of gastric atrophy ( 0.448 ? 0.105 , P

Considering a variety of theories such like Dunkin's, Centra's and Kolitch's, a set of 13 indicators are designed to evaluate effect of courses taken in high education of China currently, compro-mised by chief aspects of course designing, practicing, and effect. Three courses including medical nursing, humanistic cultivation and communication skills in nursing and fundamentals of nursing in a nursing de-partment are chosen to be objects of questionnaire survey about the above indicators. The results show that there are significant differences in curriculum effectiveness between different courses. The scores are 2.81, 2.80 and 2.60 respectively, and teachers and students have different evaluation on the same indicators of the same curriculum, which provides a reference for teachers, colleges and universities and teaching management departments to promote the improvement of teaching quality.

A moderately halophilic bacterium strain DF-B6 capable of degrading Tween 20 was isolated from solar saltern brine by plate method.Based on the phenotype, physiological and biochemical character-istics,and the phylogenetic analysis of 16S rDNA sequence, strain DF-B6 was identified as Idiomarina. The substrate specificity test showed that the lipolytic enzyme from strain DF-B6 was an esterase, and not a li-pase.The maximum esterase activity was observed in 8% NaCl concentration at 50?C,pH 8.0.The effect of various divalent cations was studied on the activity of esterase from Idiomarina sp.DF-B6 at the concentra-tion of 10 mmol/L,Mg2+,Ca2+ and Mn2+enhanced the esterase activity, while Zn2+,Fe3+ and Cu2+ inhibited its activity.

Objective To study dexamethasone and higher C-reactive protein(CRP) on effects of platelets concentrates(PC) transfusion for bleeding patients with thrombocytopenia. Methods To investigate peripheral blood platelets count, clinical bleeding before(CRP test simultaneously) and 12~16 hours after PC transfusion for 45 non-fever,non-splenomegaly and non-DIC(disseminated intravascular coagulation,DIC) patients with leukemia, aplastic anemia,or solid tumor chemotherapy, which had bleeding and needed PC transfusion. All cases were divided into two groups:CRP normal and CRP higher one according to their CRP results. Each group were also classified as non-dexamethasone and dexamethasone division(10mg dexamethasone intravenous injection before transfusions) respectively,in order to analyze the relationships between effects of PC transfusion and serum levels of CRP or dexamethasone. Results The peripheral blood platelets counts (33.2?9.2)?109/L after PC transfusions in CRP normal group were more than that (25.4?10.4)?109/L,in CRP higher group, with significant differences(t=4.42,P
