Journal of Clinical Neurology 1995;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate the effect of calcitonic gene related peptide(CGRP) and endothelin(ET) on acute and delayed cerebral vasospasm(CVS) after subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods The SAH model in rabbit were established by single injection of autologous arterial blood(0.5 ml/kg) to cisterna magna on percutaneous suboccpital route. Transcranial Dopper(TCD) was performed to detect the spastic of rabbit basilar artery(BA). The CGRP and ET concentrations in cerebrospinal fluid were examinated quntitatively by radioimmunologlc techniques at 30 minutes, 3 days, and 5 days after SAH.Results The results of TCD showed that rabbit basilar artery was spastic at 30 minutes, 3 days and 5 days after SAH. At 30 minutes after SAH, CGRP concentration significantly increased upto about 18 fold( P

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(08):-
To prepare decalcified bone matrix particles(DBMP)with adriamycin(ADM) impregnated bone cement(BC) drug delivery system(DDS), its drug delivery characteristics were studied and analysed in vivo. DBMP were made according to the methods of Urist et al. ADM was putting into DBMP by vacuum absorption and freeze drying techniques. Then the DBMP with ADM were impregnated into BC in 1∶1 to form DDS. The DDS was implanted into the greater trochanter of femur in rabbits and the release test was done in vivo. The DDS could gradually release ADM for over 12 weeks in local bone tissues, maintained stable release for 4 weeks. The maximum ADM in local bone tissues was 29 times higher than that of the same intrarenous dose, while the maximum ADM in plasma was only 1/10 of the same intravenous dose. The DDS has a good sustained release function, and can meet the needs of local chemotherapy for limb salvage treament of bone tumor.

Journal of Endocrine Surgery 2011;05(1):43-45,48
Objective To evaluate and compare open and retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy. Methods Clinical data of 30 cases undergoing open adrenalectomy and 119 cases undergoing retroperitoneal laparoscopic surgery were retrospectively analyzed. The 2 groups were compared in terms of these aspects: operation duration, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative analgesic use, time to remove drainage tube, time to resume eat, postoperative hospitalization time, complications, and tumor recurrence. In open surgery group, tumor diameter was between 0.5 cm -10.8 cm, 4.57 cm in average. 18 tumors were located on the left side and 12 tumors on the right side. In laparoscopic group, tumor diameter was between 0.8 cm -14.5 cm, 2.78 cm in average. 59tumors were located on the left side and 60 tumors on the right side. Patients in open surgery group were followed up for 6-72 months and retroperitoneal laparoscopic group 4-20 months. Results Open adrenalectomy were successful in all the 30 cases. 12 cases in laparoscopic surgery group converted to open surgery among whom 8 cases were due to poor visibility, 1 case due to renal artery injury, 1 case due to large tumor size, 1 case because of diaphragmatic injury and 1 case because of pleural injury. Laparoscopic surgery was superior to open surgery in terms of operation duration, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative analgesic use, time to start food taking, time to remove drainage tube, and postoperative hospitalization time. The difference had statistical significance (P <0.05 ). Conclusion Retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy has advantages such as less trauma, less blood loss, and shorter recovery time, which make this procedure the modern golden standard for treatment of benign adrenal neoplasm.

Objective:To study the effects of smokeless tobacco extract(ST)on the proliferation and the heat shock protein 70 (HSP70)expression of human periodontal ligament cells(hPDLCs).Methods:hPDLCs were cultured in vitro and identified by im-munohistochemistry(IHC).The cells were stimulated with ST at 0.01 6 -50 g/L respectively for 24 h,the proliferation was examine by MTT assay,HSP70 expression was detected by immunehistochemical staining and Western Blot. Results:ST inhibited the prolifer-ation and increased HSP70 expression in cytoplasm and nucleus at 0.4 -50 g/L dose dependantly. Conclusion:ST may inhibit the proliferation and increase HSP70 expression of hPDLCs in a dose depandant manner.

Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2015;33(11):985-990
Background Retinal ischemia-reperfusion (RIR) injury is a common pathologic change. Its mechanism has not been identified. Objective This study was to investigate the relationship of microRNA-181a (miR-181a) ,tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and retinal ganglial cells (RGCs) in RIR injury. Methods RIR models were induced in 68 rats, then the rats were randomly divided into control group and RIR groups, including 0hour group,24-hour group and 72-hour group by random number table.Predicted target gene TNF-α was chosen, according to M iRanda,Targetscan and miRBase databases.Immunofluorescent labeling, Western blot and quantitative real-time PCR were used to identify the expression levels of miR-181a,TNF-α and RGCs.Immunofluorescent labeling of RGCs in retinal flat mounts was analyzed for RGCs counts. Results Compared with the control group, RGCs densitiy was obviously decreased in 24-hour and 72-hour RIR groups (P<0.001).The expression level of mir-181a significantly decreased with reperfusion time in the RIR groups (P<0.05).Futhermore, the expression level of miR181a was positively correlated with RGCs numbers (r=0.995 ,P=0.005).TNF-α and miR-181a were mainly located in inner layers of retina. As opposed to the changes in RGCs numbers and miR-181a expression,TNF-α in 24-hour group was obviously higher than that of the 0-hour group, though there was no statistical significance in overall correlation analysis. Conclusions In RIR,miR-181a may be involved in regulating RGCs apoptosis.TNF-α may be a target gene of miR-181 a.Interventions within 24 hours after reperfusion might be critical.Further study of miR181 a may help to explore new molecular targets for neuroprotection treatment.

International Eye Science 2016;16(6):1132-1134
? AIM: To investigate the differences between synoptophore and triple prism strabismometry and its possible cause.?METHODS: There were 347 patients with horizontal concomitant strabismus involved, in which 76 patients were esotropia, 37 patients were male while 39 were female, with average age of 13. 27 ± 7. 77 years old. There were 271 patients with exotropia, 131 cases were male while 140 were female, with average age of 15. 43 ± 8. 42 years old. All the patients were examined by synoptophore and prism plus shaded strabismometry in a long distance of 6m. Datas were analyzed by SPSS 17. 0.?RESULTS:In the exotropia patients, the conversions of circular degree(°) and prism degree(△) were:1°=0. 29△ ~1. 78△, which was statistically significant with intermittent strabismus (P=0. 001). While in the esotropia patients, the conversions were:1°=2. 01△ ~2. 15△.?CONCLUSION: The diversity between the two methods is enlarged with the increase of squint angle for exotropia patients. While in esotropia patients, the diversity decreased with the increase of squint angle. Synoptophore equipped with +7. 00D, defects of the triple prism itself and proximal convergence during exam may be the reasons for the diversity.
