Vascular cognitive impairment (VCI) is a cognitive impairment caused by cerebrovascular disease and its risk factors,its mechanism is very complex Recent studies have shown that cerebral microbleed (CMB) is correlated with VCI.This article reviews the relationship between CMB and VCI.

56 girls with central precocious puberty were divided into the depression group and non-depression group according to the short mood and feelings questionnaire;then the levels of basic estradiol ( E2 ) , follicle stimu-lating hormone ( FSH ) and luteinizing hormone ( LH ) at various time points were compared between the two groups. The E2 level of the non-depression group was higher compared with the depression group ( P <0.01 ) . However, the significant difference of FSH and LH between the two groups was not discovered (P>0.05). The re-sults above demonstrated a negative correlation between depression and the E2 level of precocious puberty girls.

Objective:To generate rabbit anti-human Fc?/?R and Poly Immunoglobulin Receptor(pIgR) polyclonal antibodies.Methods:The EC12 domain of human Fc?/?R and the D1 domain of pIgR were expressed as including bodies in Escherichia coli.The purified proteins were used to immunize rabbits to generate polyclonal antibodies.The immune sera were characterized by ELISA and Western blot analysis,then absorbed with cross-action and purified by antigen linked beads.Results:The titers of antiserum were 1∶6 4000 and 1∶25 6000,separately.There was little cross-reaction between the two immune sera.Conclusion:The polyclonal antibodies against human Fc?/?R and pIgR without cross-reaction were successfully generated and could be useful tools to study the relationship between the two receptors.

The effects of naphthylmethyl isoquinoline (NI) and verapamil (Ver) on contractile tension and volume of oxygen consumption were compared on isolated guinea pig left atrips and cat papillary muscles. The results showed that NI and Ver diminished the Ca++-dependent contractile tension and volume of oxygen consumption by electrically driven preparations. Under the influence of increasing doses of NI (10 ~100?mol/L)and Ver(0.72~3.6?mol/L) linear reduction of contractile tension and volume of oxygen consumption were seen. These effects were reversed by increasing the extracellular Ca++ concentration. These results indicate that NI may be an effective calcium-antagonist very similar to Ver.

Objective To analyze the incidence and related risk factors of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients with deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in the respiratory intensive care unit (RICU).Methods We recruited 204 patients from RICU of our hospital between January 2015 and December 2015.The basic clinical data of the patients were also collected.Bedside venous ultrasonography of double lower limbs was taken 24-48 hours after admission.The patients were divided into DVT group and non-DVT group.The clinical data of the two groups were analyzed and compared using Chi-square test or t test,Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze risk factors,and ROC curve analysis was used to identify the disease.Results Among the 204 patients,39 were identified with DVT,with the overall incidence rate of 19.1％.D-dimer in DVT group was significantly higher than that in non-DVT group (P＜0.001).The two groups did not significantly differ in age,sex,smoking history,underlying diseases,or other laboratory test results.The area under the ROC curve of D-dimer was 0.787,and the cut off value was 1.985 mg/L (sensitivity of 0.641,specificity of 0.817).Conclusion D-dimer is closely associated with increased incidence of DVT in COPD patients.

Aim This study is designed to analyze the influence of L-arginine (L-Arg) on expression level of angiotensin Ⅱ receptors (ATR) and the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) in cultured cardiomyocytes, with the intention to clarify the mechanisms relative to L-Arg's inhibitory effects on formation of cardiac hypertrophy. Methods Five groups of cardiomyocytes were established: control group, Angiotensin Ⅱ (ATⅡ) group, ATⅡ + Saralasin group, ATⅡ + L-Arg group, ATⅡ + L-Arg+L-NAME (N-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester) group. After 48 hours in supplemented culture, synthetic velocity of protein, NO production, expression level of ATR and p38 MAPK in cardiomyocytes were detected through the [3H]-leucine incorporation method, colorimetry, RT-PCR and western blotting, respectively. Results L-Arg could decrease the expression level of ATR1 and phosphorylated p38 MAPK, enhance NO production and reduce the synthetic velocity of protein in cultured cardiomyocytes stimulated by ATⅡ. Both ATⅡ and L-Arg had no influence on the expression level of angiotensin receptor type 2(ATR 2). Correlation analysis revealed that the relationship of negative correlation was significant between NO production and each of following factors: ATR1 expression level and phosphorylated p38MAPK expression level; As indicated by multiple stepwise regression analysis, not ATR2 expression level, but ATR1 expression level acted as the regression predictor of expression level of phosphorylated p38MAPK. Conclusion By enhancing myocardial NO production, L-Arg-NO pathway inhibits the p38MAPK activation mediated by ATR1, leading to inhibition of the hypertrophic response of cardiomyocytes. ATR2 seems to be independent from the activation process of p38 MAPK.

Objective To analyze and explore the clinical characterizations, treatment and prognosis of central neurocytoma (CNC).Methods The data of 62 cases of CNC from Jan 1995 to Jan 2008 confirmed by pathological examinations and underwent surgical treatment were analyzed retrospectively.Results CNC appeared some radiological figures.Conclusion Surgical resection with the help of post-operative radiotherapy can result in satisfied outcomes.
