OBJECTIVE: To study the characteristics and regularity of adverse drug reactions (ADR) occurred in our hospital. METHODS: A total of 241 ADR cases occurred in our hospital form Jan. 2006 to Jun. 2009 were analyzed statistically in respect of patients’ status, category of drug, route of administration, organs and system involved in ADR and clinical manifestations. RESULTS: Of the total 241 ADR cases, 69.71%ADR cases were induced by antibacterials. 71.78% ADR cases were induced via intravenous administration. ADR mainly appeared as lesion of skin and appendants (50.92%). CONCLUSION: It is necessary to intervene and guide clinical use of drug, strengthen the monitoring of ADR and reduce the occurrences of ADR.

Objective To investigate the effects of ?-lipoic acid on the proliferation and activation of NF-?B induced by high glucose (HG) in rat mesenteric cells (MCs). Methods The rat mesenteric cells were cultured in the medium with normal glucose (5.6mmol/L, NG), high glucose (25mmol/L, HG), HG+100 ?mol/L ?-lipoic acid, or HG+200?mol/L ?-lipoic acid and HG+PDTC (a NF-?B inhibitor). Activation of nuclear factor-?B (NF-?B) of rat mesenteric cells were measured by electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA). The cell proliferation was assessed by MTT. Objective To discuss the development of the disinfection frame for lower limb and application of the frame. Methods The disinfection frame for lower limb was researched and developed. The patients in lower limb orthopedic surgery from July to December in 2009 were selected and divided randomly in two groups. The control group was 30 patients that the traditional bandage suspended disinfection was adopted, and the experimental group was 40 patients that the disinfection frame for lower limb was adopted. Disinfection effect, sterilization time, patient's comfort ability and medical compliance in two groups were compared. Results Infection pass rates were 100％ in the two groups. The differences are existed between two groups of sterilization time, quantitative pain comfort ability and labor intensity of lifting the patients' lower limb(t = 2. 163, X2 = 25.579,31.130;P ＜ 0. 05 or P ＜0. 01). Conclusions The human resource can be effectively saved by applying the disinfection frame in the surgical sterilization for lower limb, and the patient' s comfort ability is improved.

Objective The objective of this study was to explore the difference factors for PHC patients by transcatheter arterial chemoembolization of different age groups of senior people in China and support reference for individualized intervention by clinical medical workers.Methods 153 cases of PHC patients by TACE were selected by convenience sampling method from October 2013 to June 2014.The data were collected using general data questionnaire,Health Promotion Strategy Scale,QOL-LC,Memorial Symptom Assessment Scales and Social Support Scale to evaluate the physical,psychological and social aspects of the PHC patients.We divided the patients into young,middle-aged and elderly groups.Single factor and multiple factors regression analysis were used to compare the status and influencing factors.Results Psychological function,value of blood AFP,marital status entered the model and were self-care efficacy and correlated factors of young-aged patients,which could explain 50.6％ of the total varience.Physical symptoms,exploitation degree of support and intervention treatment times entered the model and were self-care efficacy and correlated factors of middle-aged patients,which could explain 47.8％ of the total varience.Symptom distress,degree of cuhural and psychological function entered the model and were self-care efficacy and correlated factors of elderly-aged patients,which could explain 42.4％ of the total varience.Conclusions The self-care efficacy were low in all ages of PHC patients by TACE,it is associated with a variety of factors.Doctors and nurses should pay more attention to the self-care efficacy for PHC patients by transcatheter arterial chemoembolization with different age groups.Also we should evaluate and make well-targeted policies and personalized inter-ventions to promote self-management self-efficacy.

To study the expression of some protooncogenes in burn wounded skin tissue. Methods: The protooncogene expression was analysed by mRNA dot blot hybridization,autoradiography and densitermeter. Results: Thermal injury induced C-myc, C-myb, C-jun and C-sis mRNA expression. How-ever, those four protooncogenes showed different expression models. Expression of C-myc and C-jun in-creased at d 1, and peaked 1 and 3 d postburn, respectively. Expression of C-myb and C-sis increased 3and 5 d, and peaked 10 d after thermal injury. Conclusion: Thermal injury can induce some protooncogeneexpression which sh0wed temporal order and well controlled manifestation. Those results suggest thatthose four protooncogenes are involved with the repair process as a regulator.

Objective To explore the method of early training of management awareness for new nurses. Methods 15 new nurses enrolled into the study, who randomly assigned into control group and experimental group , were evaluated by different criteria separately. Results By self-comparison, there were statistical differences between the two groups concerning thinking stages and scores of graduation examination (P ＜0. 05), there were differences in evaluation of the overall quality of the questionnaire in the control group (P ＜ 0.05), however, no difference in the experimental group (P ＞ 0.05), and excellent proportion of the experimental group were higher than that of the control group. Conclusions Good teaching methods and effective evaluation criteria lay a solid foundation for new nurses' training of management awareness; and early acceptance of management awareness can form a good mode of thinking.

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) plays an important role in tissues angiogenesis. The adaptation of animals to hypoxic environment is relative to the microvessel density (MVD) in tissues. To further explore the adaptation mechanisms of plateau zokor (Myospalax baileyi) to the hypoxic-hypercapnic burrows, the VEGF mRNA and the MVD in cerebral tissues of the plateau zokor were studied. Total RNA was isolated from liver, and VEGF cDNA was obtained by RT-PCR, then the VEGF cDNA was cloned and sequenced. The coding sequence of plateau pika (Ochotona curzniae), rat (Rattus norvegicus) and mouse (Mus musculus) VEGF cDNA are obtained from GenBank, and the nucleotide and amino acid sequence homology of plateau zokor VEGF cDNA coding sequence with that of plateau pika, rat and mouse were analyzed and compared by using of bioinformatics software. The VEGF mRNA was detected by real-time PCR, and the MVDs in cerebral tissues of the plateau zokor, plateau pika and Sprague-Dawley (SD) rat were measured by immunohistochemical staining. The results showed that the open reading frame of the plateau zokor VEGF was 645 bp, and the coding sequence of the plateau zokor VEGF cDNA shared 92.1%, 93.6% and 93.8% nucleotide sequence homology to that of the plateau pika, rat and mouse, respectively. The deduced amino acid sequence of the plateau zokor VEGF cDNA was composed of 188 amino acids and the amino acids from 1 to 26 were signal peptide sequence. The plateau zokor VEGF188 was 90.2%, 94.9% and 94.4% homologous to that of plateau pika, rat and mouse. The level of VEGF mRNA in brain of the plateau zokor was significantly lower than that of SD rat, but there was no obvious difference in VEGF mRNA level between plateau zokor and plateau pika. The MVD in brain of the plateau zokor was markedly higher than that of plateau pika and SD rat. In conclusion, plateau zokor enhances its adaptation to the hypoxic environment by increasing the MVD. The level of VEGF mRNA in the brain of plateau zokor is lower than that of SD rat, which may be as a result of inhibition by the higher concentration of carbon dioxide in the burrow.

Objective:To probe the expression of miR-126 and VEGF in breast cancer, and the anti-tumor effect of miR-126. Methods:The expression of miR-126 and VEGF in breast cancer tissues and cells were detected by qRT-PCR and Western blot;after transfection with miR-126 mimics into MDA-MB-231,expression of VEGF was detected again,MTT assay and cell scratch test were used to verify the influence of miR-126 on proliferation and migration of tumor cells. Results: The expression of miR-126 was lower in the breast cancer tissues and cells,the expression of VEGF was negative correlation with it,increasing the expression of miR-126 may decrease the expression of VEGF and inhibit the proliferation and migration of breast cancer cells. Conclusion:miR-126 can reduce the proliferation and migration of breast cancer cells by inhibiting the expression of VEGF,which play an anti-tumor effect.
