Objective To explore the clinical effect by using of 654-2 to multigravidae.Methods Among 60 multigravidaes deliverying,30 were treated with 654-2 and oxytocin,the other 30 multigravidaes were treated with oxytocin only for control.The time of dilatation of the cervix,the rate of fetal distress and neonatal asphyxia,the rate of operative delivery and postpartum hemorrhage were observed.Results The time of dilatation of the cervix and the rate of operative delivery were shorter than the control.It was significantly different between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion 654-2 can promote the first stage of the multigravidae.It can reduce the rate of operative delivery.It is safety by using of 654-2 to short the first stage to multigravidae.

OBJECTIVETo study the correlation between lacunar cerebral infarction and level of serum uric acid in elderly male hypertension patients.
METHODSNinety-eight elderly male hypertension patients were enrolled in this study. They all underwent cerebral magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan, and their clinical and laboratory data were collected. The patients were divided into the 1st group (n = 32), the 2nd group (n = 32) and the 3rd group (n = 34) according to the level of serum uric acid.
RESULTSThe numbers of lacuner infarction, serum creatinine, urea and high density lipoprotein(HDL) were significantly diferrent from the other groups. The numbers of lacuner infarction were positively related with serum uric acid and urea. Multiple variant analysis showed that serum uric acid was the independent factor of the numbers of lacuner infarction.
CONCLUSIONThe elevated level of serum uric acid may contribute to the risk factors of lacuner infarction.

5.Study on the Serum Levels of Placenta Growth Factor During Normal Pregnancy and in Patients with Pregnancy Induced Hypertension

Objective:To detect serum levels of placenta growth factor(PIGF)throughout normal pregnancy and in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension(PIH)as well as to explore the relationship between P1GF and pathogenesis of PIH. Methods: Serum specimens were collected from 51 healthy pregnant women as a control group and 33 women suffered from PIH as third trimester of normal pregnancy(P<0.001).There was a trend that serum levels of P1GF in PIH group decreased with the severity of PIH(P<0.001).Conclusion:PlGF play important roles in placental angiogenesis throughout pregnancy, and decreased serum levels of PlGF is associated with PIH.
8.Effect of type I or type II collagen on biological characteristics of human chondrocytes

BACKGROUND:Experiments have shown that the col agen substrate has the capability of stimulating cartilage generation, but the stimulating role of different types of col agen substrates remains controversial. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of type I and type II col agen on the biological characteristics of human chondrocytes cultured in vitro. METHODS:Human chondrocytes at passage were cultured onto the ordinary culture plates (ordinary plate), type I col agen-coated culture plates (type I plate), and type II col agen-coated culture plates (type II plate). cellgrowth curves were determined by MTT method after cells were cultured for 10 days. By ELISA, PCR, and 1,9-dimethyl methyleneblue technology, type I and type II col agen and glycosaminoglycan contents were quantitatively detected in cartilage cells 28 days after culture. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The number of cartilage cells was the highest in type II plate, which was twice of that in type I plate and five times of that in ordinary plate. Cartilage cells in type II plate secreted the least amount of type I col agen, which showed significant differences compared with the ordinary plate (P<0.01) and had no statistical y significant difference with type I plate (P>0.01). Cartilage cells in type II plate secreted the most amount of type II col agen and glycosaminoglycan, showing significant differences compared with the other two plates (P<0.01). The cartilage cells cultured in col agen plates are better than that cultured in ordinary culture plate, type II col agen culture plate is better than type I col agen culture plate in maintaining cellshape, extending the dedifferentiation pattern, and promoting celldifferentiation.
9.The Screening of Bifidobacterium from Macrobian

Using colon adenocarcinoma cell line HT-29 as testing material, adhesion test was carried out for 24 strains of Bifidobacteria isolated from dejecta of longevous people aged one hundred years. The results showed that all strains could adhere to colon adenocarcinoma cells HT-29, among which the strains of TTF, Z2, TZ5 and (J-1) showed higher adhesive capability. Thus these four strains of Bifidobacteria were further tested for their endurance to stomach acid and bile acid. The production of vitamin B by these bacterial were also tested. All these tests indicated that the strain of TTF has high ability to produce Vitamin B_(1), B_(2), B_(6), B_(12), The survival rate after the treatment under pH 3.0 for 120 min was 93.11%, at the same time, the strain TTF can survive after being treated with 2% bile acid for 24h.

According to the theory of in vitro radioassay, using TSHAb as binder and 125I-staphylococcal protein A (125I-SPA) as tracer agent, a new method for detecting the abnormal immunoglobulin (aIgG) in the sera of patients with Graves disease (GD) was reported. In the initial study of the method, the most appropriate interacting conditions of TSHAb with aIgG were explored and compared with ELISA using ganglioside (GLS) as a binder. The relationship between aIgG and thyroid-stimulating imunoglobulin(TSI) was probed into. The results showed that TSHAb could interact specifically with aIgG in vitro; but it could not interact with IgG from sera of normal subjects, systemic lupus erythematosis (SLE) patients and diabetic patients. With aIgG as an evaluating index, the mean value in 29 normal subjects was 1. 06?0. 17. When the sera of 72 patients with GD in different clinical stages were studied, the aIgG index was positive in 83% of untreated GD patients (n = 24), in 12% of GD patients in clinical remission (n = 25) and in 82% of relapsed GD patients (n = 23). Very significant difference was observed between normal subjets and untreated and relapsed patients with GD (P
