1.Impact injuries of pedestrians: 90 cases study.
Journal of Forensic Medicine 2014;30(5):350-354
OBJECTIVE:
To explore the relationship between pedestrian traffic accidents and the type of vehicles and summarize the characteristics.
METHODS:
Ninety cases of pedestrian traffic accidents were reviewed, and the relationship between the types of vehicles and the injuries (site, feature and severity) were analyzed.
RESULTS:
Different impact injuries were caused by different types of vehicles. The primary sites of the impact injuries depended on the body posture and the height of protruding parts of the front when the accident happened. The injury characteristics were related to the size, direction of acting force and contact surface.
CONCLUSION
The analysis of position, feature, and severity of pedestrian injury can determine the type of injury vehicle.

Objective To explore the clinical therapeutic effects of Ⅰ-stage or delayed Ⅰ-stage cervical plexus reinnervation for recurrent laryngeal nerve(RLN)injuries. Methods During the process of neck dissection of papillary thyroid carcinoma,18 cases with recurrent laryngeal nerve deficit underwent cervical plexus reinnervation on Ⅰ-stage or delayed Ⅰ-stage RLN prosthosis basis.Therapeutic effects were evaluated by fibrolaryngoscope and voice evaluation preoperatively and postoperatively. Results All the cases were followed-up for 3 months to 2 years(average 8 months).Abductory motion of the vocal cords of 16 patients totally or partly restored, and not improved in 2 patients, with the recovery rate of abductory motion of the paralyzed vocal cords of 88.9%(16/18).Patient's phonation was restored totally or partially in 16 cases and the hoarseness was ameliorated significantly. Conclusions Cervical plexus-RLN reinnervation should be considered as a suitable treatment for unilateral vocal cord paralysis. One stage or delayed one stage cervical plexus reinnervation for recurrent laryngeal nerve injury is convenient and easy to perform.Postoperatively the abductory motion of vocal cord could be restored by this reinnervation satisfactorily.

Objective To introduce the processes of vascularized parathyroid gland reservation and parathyroid autotransplantation applied in thyroidectomy. Methods In 46 cases who underwent total/near total thyroidectomy, in situ vascularized parathyroid gland reservation was performed in 24 cases, isolated parathyroid autotransplantation was performed in 5 cases, in situ vascularized parathyroid gland reservation of 1~2 parathyroid glands combined with immediately transplantation of the remaining isolated parathyroid glands were performed in 17 cases. Results Five cases suffered from transient hypocalcaemia, including 2 cases of vascularized parathyroid gland reservation and 3 cases of vascularized parathyroid gland reservation in 1~2 parathyroid glands combined with immediately transplantation of other parathyroid glands. Two cases who received parathyroid autotransplantation suffered from hypocalcaemia and received conservative treatment with activated vitamin D3 and caleium for 4 weeks or 8 weeks. Permanent hypoparathyroidism occurred in 1 case of 46 cases which undergone the total/near total thyroidectomy(2.2%). Conclusion Application of vascularized parathyroid gland reservation and parathyroid autotransplantation in total/near total thyroidectomy could reduce the incidence rate of post-operative hypoparathyroidism.

Journal of Practical Radiology 1992;0(11):-
Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of MRI in hepatic echinococcosis. Methods MRI features of 37 cases with hepatic echinococcosis proved by operation and pathology were analysed in comparison with that of CT.Results The hepatic echinococcosis could be divided into five types according to the manifestations of CT and MRI:simple cyst in 8 cases, multiple daughter cyst in 13 cases, ruptured cyst in 7 cases, consolidated and calcified cyst in 4 cases and mixed cyst in 5 cases. Conclusion MRI can clearly show and determine the location, size, form, number and types of hepatic echinococcosis, that are helpful for the plan of operation.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(07):-
Objective To investigate imaging parameters on low field MRCP and to optimize the quality of images. Methods MRCP in 77 cases were performed using Airis-Ⅱcomfort open 0.3T low field MR imaging system made by HITACHI company.3D-FSE combined with 2D single-shot breath-hold FSE sequences were used. The 3%~5% compound solution of Gd-DTPA was taken to restrain the hige signals from remaining liquid in stomach. Results MRCP examination was succeeded in all 77 cases and the images in all cases but 2 were fine for diagnosis. The total diagnostic accuracy was 79.2%.The accuracy of MRCP in the detection of the degree and location of pancreaticobiliary duct obstruction was 100%. Conclusion The distinct MRCP images can be obtained with low field MR system using combination of several scanning techniques and proper scanning parameters, and also patients have to prepare fully.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of the low field MRCP in obstructive jaundice by comparing its result with that of US and CT. Methods 55 cases of obstruction jaundice patients proved by clinical diagnosis were studied and compared the collected original diagnosis results by low filde MRCP with US and CT.Results Of 55 cases of obstructive jaundice, 30 were cholelithiasis ,21 were tumors and 4 belonged to the other type. The accuracy of MRCP for defining the site of obstruction was 100%. The accuracy for identifying the cause of obstruction was 81.8%.Conclusion The low filde MRCP can accurately define the obstructive site in biliary obstructive disease .When used together with 2D single-shot breath-hold MRCP , T 2WI, T 1WI and 3D-FSE MRCP shows high accuracy and sensitivity in diagnosing obstructive jaundice.

Objective To explore the antitumor mechanism of xianhe yanling recipe( XHYLR ). Methods The mechanism of action of 241 compounds contained in the Chinese medicine, XHYLR was studied by using computational pharmacological. Methods including molecular docking, biotechnology network, chemical space technology and the prediction of absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and toxicity( ADME/T). Results Most of the compounds in XHYLR had good drug-like properties. Distribution of 241 compounds in chemical space also revealed that these compounds showed similar anti-tumor activity. It suggested that the prescription of XHYLR was reasonable. The phenomena that one molecular interacted with multiple target proteins and several molecules interact with one target protein were observed in XHYLR. For example, the COX-2 interacted with 40 micromolecules, and catechin interacted with five targets including COX-2. Conclusion These results are helpful for understanding the complicated mechanism of anti-tumor activity of XHYLR.

Objective To investigate the induction of tolerant dendritic cells(DOs)and its mechanism in mice. Methods The dendritic cell line derived from C57BL/6 mouse.DO2.4 cells were co-cultured with TGF-?_1(20 ng/ml)to induce the tolerant DCs(TGF?-DC)and stimulated wihh li- popolysaccharide(LPS)for 48 h to induce the mature DCs(LPS-DC).Special small interference RNA molecule(siRNA)of PIR-B was chemically synthesized and was transfected into TGF?-DC by lip2000 (si-DC).The expression of paired immunoglobin receptor A/B(PIR-A/B)in DC2.4 cells was mea- sured by semi-quantitative RT-PCR and flow cytometry(FCM).The allogeneic stimulating capacity of DCs was measured by mixed lymphocyte reaction(MLR)using ~3H-thymidine incorporation test with the Balb/c spleen cells as reaction cells. The concentration of IFN-?in supernatants of MLR from dis- tinct groups was tested by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results TGF-?_1 up-regula- ted the PIR-B mRNA expression and down-regulated the PIR-A mRNA expression(P
