Chinese Journal of Perinatal Medicine 1998;0(03):-
Objective To evaluate prognostic value of electroencephalogram (EEG) in neonatal with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Methods Sixty two infants with HIE was studied by doing physical examination, intelligence test, CT and EEG. Their clinical outcome was compared to their EEG in the first month after birth. Results Incidence of sequelae in normal or mild abnormal EEG and severe abnormal EEG were 3%, 29%, respectively. Among three infants of EEG cases, two dead and one developed cerebral palsy infant. Among four of burst suppression found in the EEGs, two cases dead, one developed cerebral palsy, one was normal. In five of hypoactive EEG, one dead, one developed cerebral palsy, and the other was with low IQ. Conlusion The prognosis is related to the background activity of EEG. The presence of a burst suppression EEG pattern and a hypoactive/flat EEG are negative prognostic criteria.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(05):-
Objective:To analyse the clinical characteristics and to study the effects of thalidomide combined with tripterygium glycosides in the treatment of Behcet disease.Methods:50 cases of Behcet disease were analysed retrospectively.26 of them were treated by thalidomide at 35 mg combined with tripterygium glycosides at 10 mg 3 times a day.24 cases were treated by levamisole at 50 mg 3 times a day with 3-day-treatment and 11-day-interval.All the patients were treated for 2 months.Results:Middle-aged male patients with chronic onset were common, oral ulcer was the first common symptom. The disease could damage all organs, however the oral mucosa, skin, oculus, genitalia and joint were commonly involved.Reaction of needle puncture was highly specific in the diagnosis. The effective ratio of treatment was observed in 92% of the patients treated by the combination of thalidomide with tripterygium glycosides and in 67% of those by levamisole. Conclusion:The clinical manifestations of Behcet disease are complex, its diagnosis mainly depends on symptoms and signs, reaction of needle puncture is helpful in diagnosis.Thalidomide combined with tripterygium glycosides is effective in the treatment of the disease.

Objective To evaluate the application effect of UK manual moving & handling skills in the training of preventing occupational lower back pain among nursing professionals, and explore effective ways of training on preventing occupational lower back pain to nursing professionals. Methods 86 nursing students,94 nurses with 12 months' work experience, and 88 nurses with work experience over 5 years were randomized selected, and they each were divided into the experimental group and the control group. For 86 nursing students,43 students in each group; For 94 nurses with 12 months' work experience,47 nurses in each group; For 88 nurses with work experience over 5 years,44 nurses in each group.A routine taught training was given to both groups, while the experimental group received an extra 25 academic hours' structured OLBP prevention training.Comprehensive proposition was used to assess theoretic learning outcome of all participants, and practical skills of all participants were tested through institutional cases.Ressults There was significant statistical difference between scores of participants from two groups, and the scores of the experimental group in nurses with 12 months' work experience were different from the experimental groups of nursing students and nurses with work experience over 5 years. Conclusions Structured OLBP prevention training should lead occupational health prevention and health promotion concepts, apply numerous teaching approaches, emphasize the content of maintaining physical and psychiatric health and occupational protection management, set new-enrolled nurses as the main focused group of training.

International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2016;39(1):-
The progress of objective and digital diagnosis of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is not optimistic. There is no denying that there are a lot of research ideas and methods,on the other hand, the understanding of TCM is very one-sided,fuzzy and even wrong. This paper attempts to absorb the quintessence of TCM in clinical medical information detection and treatment ideas from the measurement science and modem information detection and processing point of view.Ideas and means of clinical medical information detection and treatment in TCM not only coincide with, but also improve that of modem information detection and processing way and means, which have high reference value. The way of thinking and means, not only for medical information detection and processing, but also provide a valuable reference for other areas of information detection and processing.

ObJective To locate the cysteine-rich domains(CRD) of murine 4-1BB binding to its natural ligand. Methods A serial soluble extracellular CRDs of routine 4-1BB and 4-1BBL fusion proteins was constructed and prepared. The binding of purified 4-1BB-Igs to 4-1BBL and 4-1BB monoclonal antibody were tested using ELISA assay and Western blot analysis. Blocking experiment with 4-1BBL and 4-1BB mon-oclonal antibody was performed by ELISA assay. Results All truncated overlapped proteins containing ex-tracellular CRD Ⅱ of murine 4-1BB were able to bind to 4-1BBL by ELISA assay, excepting the CRD Ⅰ do-main alone. A 4-1BB monoclonal antibody proved to block the interaction of 4-1BB and 4-1BBI, was also able to bind to CRD Ⅱ. Conclusion Murine 4-1BBL whose specificity was mapped to CRD Ⅱ of 4-1BB ex-tracellular region with a possible conformational structure.

To study the transport mechanisms of drugs for transplacental treatment of fetal tachyarrhythmia, MDCKII-BCRP and MDCKII cell models was used. MDCKII-BCRP and MDCKII cell monolayer model was used to investigate the bi-direction transport of sotalol, propranolol, propafenone, procainamide and flecainide. Drug concentrations were measured by HPLC-UV or chemiluminescence. The apparent permeability coefficient (P(app)), efflux rate (R(E)) and net efflux rate (R(net)) were calculated. Drugs with R(net) greater than 1.5 were further investigated using cellular accumulation experiments with or without a BCRP inhibitor. The R(net) of sotalol, propranolol, propafenone and procainamide were less than 1.5, while R(net) of flecainide with concentrations of 20 and 5 μmol x L(-1) were 1.6 and 1.9, respectively. The results showed that the transport of flecainide on MDCKII-BCRP cell monolayer could be mediated by BCRP; and the affinity increased when the concentration of flecainide decreased. Cellular accumulation experiments further suggested that accumulation of flecainide in MDCKII-BCRP cells was significantly lower than that in MDCKII cells in a concentration-dependent manner. BCRP inhibitor quercetin (50 μmol x L(-1)) significantly increased the accumulation of flecainide in MDCKII-BCRP cells (P < 0.05). Our preliminary data showed that flecainide but not sotalol, propranolol, propafenone or procainamide can be a substrate of BCRP. Thus the effect of flecainide may be affected by the BCRP in the maternal placental trophoblast membrane layer when treating fetal tachyarrhythmia.
