2.Influencing factors of life quality in lung cancer patients
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(6):447-449
Clinical studies show that the factors that impact the quality of life (QOL) in patients with lung cancer are comprehensive.Physiological factors include breathing difficulties,cancer-related fatigue.Depression, anxiety and other psychological factors also play a major role.Social and family support is also crucial to improve the QOL in patients with lung cancer.

Objective To know the situation of nurses obtaining osteoporotic fractures related knowledge ,and provid guiding basis for further education and relevant training on target people .Methods Questionnaire survey and semi -structured interviews methods were used to investigate 595 nurses ,9 clinical nurse workers and nurse managers who come from a tertiary comprehensive teaching hospital were interviewed personally .Results The scores of the related knowledge in nurses were 35 .70 ± 6 .36 ,score rate was 67 .36% ;Interview data analysis showed that lack of professional training ,training was not systematic ,the approach obtain knowledge was simple were result in lack of the related knowledge in nurses ;By the multiple liner stepwise regression ,The educa‐tion level and professional title were main factors which affect nurses acquired osteoporosis knowledge .Conclusion It is necessary to focus on improving the strengthen of related knowledge education for the nurses with low education background and low profes‐sional title ,At the same time ,related departments of the hospital should strengthen the training of professional knowledge .
4.The value of MRI in diagnosing the premature closure of growth plate after trauma
Chinese Journal of Radiology 2000;0(11):-
Objective To evaluate the value of MRI in diagnosing the premature closure and other deformities of the growth plate followed physeal injury. Methods Twenty-one children with suspected or known premature closure of the growth plate followed injury were examined with X-ray and MRI. In addition to conventional T 1WI and T 2WI for all cases, 8 were also examined with spectral pre-saturation inversion recovery sequence. The value of MRI in diagnosing and imaging the premature closure of the growth plate (PCGP) was analyzed. Results PCGP was seen in all 21 cases, 6 in the distal femur, 6 in the proximal tibia, and 9 in the distal tibia. 19 patients with angular deformities and 2 cases with both angular and shorten deformities. MRI can much more clearly visualize the cartilage of the growth plate than conventional X-ray. A stripe of low signal intensity through the cartilage of the growth plate indicated premature closure of the growth plate. 8 cases with spectral pre-saturation inversion recovery sequence can visualize the PCGP more clearly than with Spin Echo and Fast Field Echo. Conclusion MRI has an important role in diagnosing and visualizing the PCGP. The configuraton of the PCGP can be accurately mapped with MR imaging and treatment planning is facilitated.
5.Dog-days Paste Treat Cough-asthma
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2006;0(03):-
[Objective]To appraise the clinical effect of acupoint application on cough-asthma.[Method] Choose clinic 144 cases, measure FEV1,PEF and FEV1% after treatment, make statistical analysis, compare the difference of the appraisal indexes between before and after treatment, study the relation among age,sex and TCM syndromes.[Conclusion] After treatment, the symptoms score and lung function were markedly improved.[Conclusion] After treated with Dog-days Paste, the patients’ clinical symptoms were obviously relieved, and the lung functional indexes improved too.

0.05). Conclusions In han-nationality people in Northern China, DRB1*04 is positively associated with Eales′ disease, suggesting that DRB1*04 may confer a major influence on Eales′ disease. Turbulence of immune function begotten by infect-agents attack may occur in the individuals with Eales′ disease due to the specific hereditary diathesis of HLA, which may cause the occurrence and development of Eales disease.

Objective To study the time of monoclonal immunoglobulinemia of undetermined significance (MIUS) transforming into multiple myeloma (MM),and the changes of immunoglobulin level and the clinical features. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted in 22 patients with MM.According to the follow-up of immunoglobulin levels, patients were divided into formal and informal groups. The changes in immunoglobulin, serum calcium, hemoglobin and creatinine concentrations, and the time of MIUS transforming into MM were detected, and the impact of treatment on the prognosis was analyzed. Results The median age at diagnosis as MIUS was 69 years in formal group and 79 years in informal group. The median time for MIUS transforming into MM was 9.8 years in formal group and 1.3 years in informal group (P 0.006).The initial average concentration of immunoglobulin in patients with MIUS was 12.5 g/L (2.0-31.6 g/L) in informal group and 11.5 g/L (2.8-29.0 g/ L) in formal group (P>0.05).There were no significant differences in levels changes of immunoglobulin, serum calcium, hemoglobin, creatinine index before and after the outcome. The transfer time for MIUS transforming into multiple myeloma was 9.8 years and 9.7 years, and the survival time was 13.6 years and 13.5 years in patients with versus without treatment (P> 0.05).Conclusions Regular formal follow up can accurately assess the transfer time for MIUS to MM,and the transfer time is longer in formal groups than in informal group. The changes in concentrations of immune globulin, serum calcium, hemoglobin, and creatinine cannot serve as indicators for outcome evaluation.Drug treatment neither delays the progress time of MIUS to MM nor reduces the complications of MM and nor prolongs the survival time.

Objective To investigate the effects of a short hairpin RNA targeting epidermal growth factor recereceptor (EGFR-shRNA) on Colo-16 cell apoptosis and sensitivity to rapamycin. Methods The expression vector of EGFR-specific shRNA was constructed. Colo-16 cells were classified into 4 groups, normal control group remaining untreated, liposome group transfected with lipofectamine 2000, negative control group transfected with shRNA-NC/Iipofectamine 2000 and positive interference group transfected with the expression vector of shRNA-EGFR/Lipofectamine 2000. After additional culture, immunocytochemistry and Western blot were conducted to detect the protein expression of EGFR, and flow cytometry to measure the apoptosis in Colo-16cells. MTT assay was performed to measure the sensitivity of Colo-16 cells to rapamycin. Results Compared with the normal control group, the expression of EGFR was down-regulated by 43.3% in positive interference group (F= 44.6, P< 0.05), and the sensitivity to rapamycin was increased by 2.44 folds. The apoptosis rate in positive interference group was (12.65±0.091)%, significantly different from that in the normal control group (F = 2042.9, P < 0.05). Conclusion The plasmid expression vector containing shRNA targeting EGFR can effectively suppress the expression of EGFR by Colo-16 cells, enhance the sensitivity of Colo-16 cells to rapamycin and induce the apoptosis in Colo-16 cells.
