Eighty cases of intrauterine adhesions who received adhesion separation technique were divided into two groups equally. The control group was placed intrauterine device and ballon catheter in intrauterine, and received o-ral female estrogen cycle treatment. The test group with the same treatment was added growth hormone treatment. Three months later, all of the patients were checked the hysteroscopy and intrauterine device was took out, also the uterine cavity form, and follow-up recovery of endometrial and menses were evaluated. Then it showed:①Endome-trial thickness increased by an average of (1.73±0.83) mm in the test group, while the control group average in-creased by (1.10±0.66) mm. The difference was statistically significant (t=3.73,P<0.01).② The re-adhe-sion rate was 45.0% in the control group, while it was 32.5% in the test group, respectively. The difference was not statistically significant. ③ The difference of mensual recovery between both groups was not statistical significant. Therefore growth hormone can promote the growth of endometrium of intrauterine adhesions after resection of adhe-sions.

Purpose To investigate the expression of estrogen receptor ( ER) and progesterone receptor ( PR) in endometrial tissue in patients with intrauterine adhesion ( IUA) and their clinical significance. Methods Two experimental methods, immunohistochemical MaxVision two step method and real-time fluorescencequantitative PCR ( qRT-PCR) , were used for detection of ER and PR in endome-trial tissue both in group IUA ( study group) and non IUA group ( control group) . Results MaxVision immunohistochemical method showed that ER protein expression in the study group (3. 52 ± 0. 71) was significantly higher than that (2. 75 ± 1. 00) in the control group (P=0. 01), ER mRNA expression by qRT-PCR was also significantly higher in the study group (1. 59 ± 0. 26) than that (1. 00 ± 0. 19) in the control group (P=0. 00). The immunohistochemical detection of showed that PR protein expression in the study group (3.26 ±0.70) had no significant different from that (3.58 ±0.28) in the control group (P=0.12), qRT-PCR also showed that ER mRNA in the study group (1.15 ±0.21) had no significantly different from that (1.00 ±0.31) in the control group (P=0. 21 ) . Immunohistochemical expression of ER and PR proteins showed a significant difference between the endometrial glands and en-dometrial stroma (χ2 =5. 797, P=0. 016,χ2 =4. 857, P=0. 027). Conclusion The expression of ER in endometrial tissue in the study group is higher than that in the control group, but the expression of PR has no different between the two groups, ER and PR pro-teins expression are higher in endometrial glands than that in endometrial stroma. These provide a theoretical reference for clinical use of estrogen and progesterone to IUA patients.

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of angiographic diagnosis and effectiveness of transcatheter therapy in hemorrhage after cholecystectomy. Methods The site and cause of hemorrhage after cholecystectomy were verified by selective DSA in 5 patients and then followed by treatment with target artery embolization. The cause of hemorrhage after cholecystectomy wasn't verified by selective DSA in 4 patients, surgical resection was then carried out. Results Nine cases had hemorrhage with various degrees after cholecystectomy. 55.56% of them were arterial hemorrhage identified by angiography, including 5 cases treated with target artery embolization effectively without any other important complication. The other cases were cured by abdominal exploring operation totally belonged to venous hemorrhage. Conclusion DSA and interventional therapy are of great value for arterial hemorrhage after cholecystectomy, especially the method of embolization is safe and efficient.(J Intervent Radiol,2007,16: 696-698)

Chronic osteomyelitis is one of the most common disorder in clinic. In recent years due to diabetes, peripheral vascular disease and trauma induced disease increased, the prevalence rate increased. With the development of magnetic resonance imaging and CT imaging technology, it greatly improved the accuracy of clinical diagnosis of chronic osteomyclitis and ability to describe the infection characteristics, and provide a reliable basis for clinical treatment. The current research on chronic osteomyelitis mainly concentrated on the aspects of imaging applications and ways of using antibiotic optimization control inflammation, defect restoration and reconstruction of blood supply and treatment. But the best time to the antibiotic therapy and the use of program is still uncertain, for after debridement, bone grafting time and defect repair function of fast recovery still need further research.

Objective To investigate the gray matter volume differences between adult hypothyroid subjects and healthy controls using voxel-based morphometry (VBM).Methods A total of 28 untreated hypothyroid patients and 28 age and gender-matched uormal controlswere recruited. The coucentrations of their freetriiodothyronine (FT3),free theroxine (FT4),and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH)were testedfrom their venous blood on the day they accepted MR scanning.High resolution 3D-datawereobtained using 3.0 T MRI scanner.VBM analysis was performed to detect the volume differences between the groups by using voxel-wise two sample t test.Multiple regression analysis was employed to analyze the influence exerted upon gray matter volume by serum FT3,FT4,and TSH concentrationof hypothyroid patients. Results Compared to controls, gray matter volumes in the bilateral superior frontal gyri, left precentralgyrus and bilateral cerebellum were decreased in hypothyroid patients (voxels 211-2 142,t=3.36-3.69,P<0.01,corrected).No significant correlation between the gray matter volume in the above-mentioned brain regions and the clinical variables (serum FT3,FT4,and TSH concentration) (P>0.05) was found in the multiple regression analysis. Conclusions VBM analysis revealed that hypothyroid patients exhibited reduced gray matter volume in multiple brain regions. It suggests that the lack of thyroid hormones can lead to the structural abnormalities in adult brain and selective gray matter atrophy in multiple brain regions.
