Objective Bio-ceramics has been widely utilized as a common type of bone repair material.The research was designed to focus on preparation and characterization of porous TCP.Methods By using hydroxyapatite (HA) as the raw materials,and adding calcium phosphate bio-glass to adjust the ratio between calcium and phosphate,in order to achieve making porous TCP bio-ceramic scaffolds during high temperature heating process.Results Test results showed that by applying this method,TCP scaffolds had significantly higher mechanical strength then those were made from powdered TCP,and its compressive strength reached 9.11 MPa.Conclusion Tri-Calcium Phosphate (TCP) has excellent biocompatibility and it is also biodegradable.In the physiological environment,it is able to be gradually decomposed,absorbed and to promote bone growth ultimately,it is capable of replacing the damaged bone components with brand new bone tissues.

Objective:To explore therapeutic effect of rehabilitation intervention on aged patients with vascular de‐mentia (VD) .Methods :A total of 108 aged VD patients hospitalized in our hospital from Jan 2011 to Oct 2013 were selected .According to random number table ,they were randomly and equally divided into routine treatment group (received routine drug therapy and nursing ) and rehabilitation intervention group [received rehabilitation interven‐tion based on routine treatment group ,including trainings of computing ability ,thinking ability ,memory and activi‐ty of daily life (ADL) ability etc .] .ADL ability score ,mini-mental state examination (MMSE) score ,Wechsler memory scale (WMS) score were assessed ,compared and analyzed between two groups before and one year after in‐tervention .Results:There were no significant difference in ADL ,MMSE and WMS scores before intervention be‐tween two groups (P>0.05) .Compared with before intervention after one -year intervention ,there were signifi‐cant rise in ADL ability score [ (36.87 ± 9.09) scores vs .(47.54 ± 9.72) scores] ,MMSE score [ (16.87 ± 3.55) scores vs .(22.25 ± 3.41) scores] and WMS score [(59.14 ± 6.84) scores vs .(62.88 ± 6.59) scores] in rehabilitation intervention group ( P<0.05 all) ,and they were significantly higher than those of routine treatment group [ADL score :(38.31 ± 8.95) scores ,MMSR score :(16.72 ± 4.25) scores ,WMS score :(59.25 ± 6.11) scores] ,P<0.05 all .Conclusion:Rehabilitation intervention can improve cognitive function and memory and improve self -care a‐bility and quality of life in aged VD patients ,so its therapeutic effect is significant .

Extra-cellular signals, including T lymphoc ytes, cytokines,growth factors,interferons and neuropeptides, which could modulate matrix metalloproteinases expression in synoviocytes of rheumatoid arthritis(RA), are often mediated by G-protein-coupled Receptors (GPCR)-initiated signaling and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascades. Drug targets which aim at the extra-cellular signals or intra-cellular cascades is required for ameliorating inflammatory reaction and preventing joint destruction in RA.

Objective To investigate the treatment of moed high anal fistula operation.Methods 110 cases of high anal fistula patients were randomly divided into the incision line selective suture group(treatment group 55 cases) and incision group(55 cases in the control group),on two groups of treatment time,the cure rate,the anal function were analyzed.Results The cure rate of the treatment group and control group were 98 ％,86％,respectively,the cure rates of two groups have no significant difference (x2 =1.557,P ＞ 0.05),the healing time and postoperative anal function evaluation in treatment group was superior than those in control group (t =3.440,4.671,all P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion Incisionunder selective suture in the treatment of high anal fistula operation is a better way.

The establishment animal model of Graves’ disease contributes to the study of etiology, pathogenesis and therapeutic modalities. After decades of studies and making improvements, the method of building mice model of Graves’disease has achieved a great development. Although there were many reports of animal model building in Graves’disease, as a mature technology A-subunit of thyrotropin receptor( TSHR)-expressing adenovirus was used to establish Graves’disease mice model, which has been accepted widely because of its high efficacy.

Objective To observe and evaluate the efficacy of the preventing antibiotic-associated diarrhea in infant with bacterial pneumonia using the live Clostridium butyricum and Bifidobacterium combined Powders. Methods 103 infants with bacterial pneumonia were randomly divided into the two groups,53 infants as the trial group,another 50 infants as the control group with normal antibacterial therapy,two or three hours afterword the live Clostridium butyricum and Bifidobacterium combined Powders was administered at dose of 0.5g ti-daily in the trial group,After diarrhea taken place,the live Clostridium butyricum and Bifidobacterium combined Powders was adminis-tered at dose of 0.5g ti-daily in the control group,to contrast the rate of secondary diarrhea and clinical efficacy in the two groups.Results The incidence of antibiotic-associated diarrhea was 13.2%( 7/53 ) in the trial group and 56.0%(28/50) in the control group (χ2 =21.00,P<0.01).There were significant differences between the two groups.Duration of diarrhea and period of treatment in the trial group was obviously shorter than that of the control group,the rate of dehydration in the trial group was lighter than that in the control group(χ2 =6.64,P<0.01). Conclusion The live Clostridium butyricum and Bifidobacterium combined powders with antibacterial therapy at reg-ular intervals can prevent antibiotic-associated diarrhea.It is worthy of preventive application.

Objective: The current study investigate the immunological reaction state of Th1/Th2 cytokines expression in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs) from patients with lung cancer,and evaluate the effect of astragalus(AG) on it.Methods:The PBMCs from patients were divided into 4 groups:one group as pre-cultured group,and the other cells were cultured with 10%AG,20% AG and without AG (control group) ,respectively.The PBMC from 23 lung cancer patients as well as 19 healthy controls before and after the culture with AG were collected respectively. The Thl/Th2 cytokines expression were detected by RT-PCR considering IFN-r and IL-2 as Th1 cytokines and IL-4,IL-6,IL-10 as Th2 ones. Results:The results showed that the mRNA expression rate of IL-4,IL-6,IL-10 in PBMCs from lung cancer patients was obviously higher than that from the healthy controls( P

Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) exist in bone marrow, umbilical cord blood and peripheral blood of adult mammals, including humans. Furthermore, the discovery of EPCs has led to the notion of adult vasculogenesis, in which bone marrow (BM)-derived EPCs home to and incorporate into sites of new blood vessel formation, where they differentiate into endothelial cells, which is consistent with postnatal vasculogenesis. It has become apparent that circulating BM-derived EPCs are involved in promoting physiologic and pathologic neovascularization, such as wound healing and tumor growth. They are of great clinical importance in pro- or anti-angiogenic therapies. [

This review discusses several strategies that have been employed to enhance the regenerative effectiveness of artificial nerve guidance channels. These strategies include the use of scaffolds, the integration of contact-mediated cues within the tubular construct, and incorporation or delivery of exogenous growth factors into the conduit lumen uniformly or in a gradient form. Animal and clinical studies are reviewed to explain some of the ideas involved in developing a guidance channel of the future.

Objective To explore the clinical effectiveness of urokinase perfusion and drainage in patients with hypertension cerebral hemorrhage broken into ventricles.Methods Patients with hypertension cerebral hemorrhage broken into ventricles(35 cases)underwent urokinase perfusion and drainage.Clinical effect was observed and the nursing point was summarized.Results Of the 35 patients,20 cases acquired good recovery,13 cases were mildly disabled,2 case were severely disabled,no death occurred.The complications mostly consisted of secondary hemorrhage,infection,disfunction.Conclusions The early lateral ventricle drilling operation,postoperative urokinase perfusion and drainage,active complications prophylaxis and treatment,rehabilitation training can reduce mortality and improve the quality of patients' life.
