Objective To analyze and discuss the possible reasons of the bone resorption beneath the prostheses after chin augmentation.Methods Twelve patients were admitted to our department for further correction after chin augmentation with materials.The bone resorption was observed through the clinical research and X-ray examination.Results All the patients were underwent the removal of the materials,genioplasty was performed in 8 patients,and two patients were treated by chin augmentation with polyethylene.All the patients were satisfied with their facial contouring.Mild bone resorption was found in seven patients (depth of bone resorption ≤2 mm),in which five patients were used with silicone materials,two patients were performed with expanded polytetrafluoroethylene implants.Moderate bone resorption was seen in three cases.All of them were used with silicone implants (2 mm ＜ depth of bone resorption ≤4 mm).Severe bone resorption happened in two patients (depth of bone resorption ＞4 mm).One was used with silicone implant,and the other one was carried out with expanded polytetrafluoroethylene implant.Conclusions The imbalance among mentalis muscle,materials and underlying bone might be one of the key reasons.Thus for mild and moderate microgenia cases,chin augmentation with material is suitable,while long-term fellow-up study is necessary.But for the cases of severe mirogenia or microgenia and micrognathia with dentofacial deformity or mentalis muscle hyperactivity,genioplasty might be performed as well to correct their deformities.

Objective Through the correlation study of fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF-23) and chronic heart failure to investigate the pathogenesis of chronic heart failure and provide a new method for chronic heart failure diagnosis.Methods One hundred and twenty-eight chronic heart failure patients (chronic heart failure group) were involved in this study.According to the level of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),they were divided into LVEF slightly lowing group (LVEF 40％-50％,50 patients),LVEF moderately lowing group (LVEF 30％-39％,35 patients),LVEF severely lowing group (LVEF ＜30％,43 patients).Fifty healthy people was as control group.The level of FGF-23,parathyroid hormone (PTH),creatinine (Cr),urea nitrogen (BUN),blood calcium,blood phosphorus,N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) were detected.The patients in two groups were performed color Doppler ultrasonography.Results The level of FGF-23,blood phosphorus,PTH,left ventricular mass index (LVMI),NT-proBNP in chronic heart failure group were significantly higher than those in control group [68.44(55.85-94.73) ng/L,34.18(30.57-38.87) ng/L,(1.13 ± 0.13) mmol/L vs.(1.02± 0.12) mmol/L,(15.51 ± 3.99) ng/L vs.(9.97 ± 0.89) ng/L,(112.27 ± 52.02) g/m2 vs.(71.37 ± 12.95) g/m2,(6 265.3 ± 15 991.6) ng/L vs.(76.12 ± 51.80) ng/L](P ＜ 0.01).The level of blood calcium,glomerular filtration rate (GFR) in chronic heart failure group were significantly lower than those in control group [(2.28 ±0.16) mmol/L vs.(2.48 ±0.13) mmol/L,(78.28 ± 14.20) ml/ (min ·1.73 m2) vs.(85.03 ± 14.44)ml/ (min·1.73 m2)] (P ＜ 0.01).Spearman correlation analysis showed that FGF-23 had positive correlation with age (r =0.256,P ＜0.01),blood phosphorus (r =0.326,P ＜0.01),PTH (r =0.584,P ＜0.01),NT-proBNP (r =0.799,P ＜ 0.01),LVMI (r =0.540,P ＜ 0.01),and had negative correlation with blood calcium (r =-0.308,P ＜ 0.01),GFR(r =-0.527,P ＜ 0.01).The level of FGF-23 was increased when LVEF reduced.Conclusions It has significant correlation between the level of FGF-23 and the degree of chronic heart failure.It suggests that the level of FGF-23 can evaluate the myocardial systolic function and ventricular remodeling.

Objective:To construct high level prokaryotic cell expression vector carrying human upstream regulatory element binding protein1 (hureb1) gene for producing GST hureb1 fusion protein and generating anti hureb1 antibody Methods: After the Xho I/Not I fragment from hureb1 open reading frame was recombined into the prokaryotic expression vector pGEX 4T 2, the vector was transformed into E coli BL21(DE3) strain and induced with IPTG to express the fusion protein, GST hureb1 The crudely isolated fusion protein was applied to immunize rabbit and mouse for generating anti hureb1 polyclonal antibody and monoclonal antibody respectively Results:The prokaryotic expression vector expressing GST hureb1 fusion protein was constructed and induced to produce high level GST hureb1 that was detected up to 33 45% of the total bacterial protein expressed The GST hureb1 fusion protein immunizing animals generated high titer and specific anti hureb1 antibodies Conclusion:Recombinant hureb1 protein and anti hureb1 antibodies can be used to analyze the biological functions of hureb1

Purpose To investigate the 18F-FDG PET/CT manifestation ofextranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (ENKTCL) for providing important reference for the early diagnosis,accurate staging and guiding treatment of the disease.Materials and Methods The imagings and clinical data of twenty-six patients with nasal ENKTCL were analyzed retrospectively.The diagnosis was confirmed by pathological biopsy and immunohistochemistry.The distribution and metabolic signs of the lesions were summarized,and the influence of PET/CT on nasal ENKTCL staging was analyzed.Results Totally 102 positive lesions were detected in 26 patients.The SUVmax of all lesions was 12.2±5.4 (3.2-28.5).The primary lesions were mainly located in the nasal cavity (16/26,61.5％).Facial soft tissue and paranasal sinus tissue involvement were most common adjacent invasions.The distribution of the remaining affected tissues and organs in the whole body showed no obvious regularity.Lymph node involvement was most common in cervical lymph nodes.The lesion detection rates of PET/CT and conventional imaging (plain scan/enhanced CT,plain scar/ enhanced MRI,ultrasound,etc.) in lymph node and extranodal organ involvement were 96.7％ and 65.5％,respectively,and the accuracy of staging were 92.3％ and 73.1％,respectively.Clinical stages were changed in 15 patients (57.7％)because of PET/CT examination,among which,the staging was improved in twelve cases for finding more lesions,the staging of the suspicious lesions were reduced and the nature was defined in three cases because of their lack of metabolism on the PET/CT,and the treatment plan was affected in nine cases for staging adjustment.Conclusion 18F-FDG PET/CT can accurately show the distribution of nasal ENKTCL lesions.Compared with the conventional imaging methods,more lymph nodes and extranodal organ involvement can be detected by 18F-FDG PET/CT,which makes the staging more accurate and guides the clinical treatment more effectively.

ObjectiveTo explore the mechanism and prevention for the hypertension complicated by the retroperinoneal paraganglioma operation.MethodsBlood pressures were monitored during operations on 15 patients with retroperinoneal paraganglioma. Also,the reason and the prevention for the changed blood pressure were studied emphatically during operation.ResultsThe elevated blood pressure of 12 patients was detected during operation,and all dropped to a varied degree after operation,with 2 of them below the normal value.ConclusionThe retroperinoneal paraganglioma operation was liable to cause blood pressure elevated,which was related to the anesthesia induction and the operation stimulation of tumor. After the excision of the tumor,blood pressure of most of the patients dropped to some degree. Therefore,during the retroperinoneal paraganglioma operation,the blood pressure should be monitored closely,and the short-acting antihypertensives should be applied on time. Meantime,occurrence of hypotension was also considered after the excision of the tumor.

Objective To explore a new modified stable genioplasty with modified MortiseTenon joints technique and to analyze the surgicaI results in clinic as well as to discuss the advantages in theory.Methods Eleven patients were performed by the genioplasty with Mortise-Tenon joints technique intraoral approach from June 2012 to March 2014,who were suffered from retrusion of chin with different degree accompanying with long chin.The two segments of the chin by osteotomy were made into the Mortise-Tenon joints and fixed by titanium plates.The results were evaluated by clinical appearances and image analyses.Results All 11 patients were satisfied with the procedure and the contour of the chin.The surgical effects were stable without any complications.The advancement in average Mortise-Tenon joints technique was 7.38 mm.Conclusions Much better in stablility and less relapse are achieved by using modified Mortise-Tenon joints technique;furthermore,the genioglossal muscle and geniohyoid muscle are reserved as much as possible,and therefore the normal function of them could be maintained.This method is a good alternative technique for chin retrusion coexisted withlong chin.
