Chinese Journal of Digestion 2001;0(10):-
Objective To review the clinical, histological and diagnostic aspects of 12 documented cases of nodular regenerative hyperplasia of the liver(NRHL),to make this condition be understood and dealt with better. Method Twelve NRHL cases were diagnosed based on liver biopsy from 300 portal hypertension patients who had been underwent splenectomy.Imaging studies were performed as part of the diagnostic evaluation.Clinical manifestation and biochemical tests were recorded at the time of diagnosis.Management and prognosis were also reviewed. Results Most patients were complicated with autoimmune disease,6 cases were diagnosed systemic lupus erythematosus and 1 was Crohn's disease and 1 suspected ulcerative colitis.Six cases were treated by prednisone and 3 cases by immunosuppressant.Eleven cases had suffered from portal hypertension. All cases had no history of viral hepatitis.Biochemical tests showed mild increase of liver enzyme and relative normal synthetic liver function. The histological finding was nodular in the hepatic parenehyma, with mild periportal fibrosis, intraportal lymphocytic infiltration, narrow and obstruction of branch of portal vein, and lack of hepatocyte necrosis. All cases were diagnosed liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension before operation.Management was directed to portal hypertension and varices bleeding with satisfactory results. Most of them keep a stable condition during the follow-up. Conclusion The NRHL was uncommon and its cause and pathogenesis was unclear, may be related with immune and hepatic blood circulation disorder. It should be considered in patients with unexplained portal hypertension and distinguished it from liver cirrhosis.Liver biopsy confirms the diagnosis.Management directed to portal hypertension may improve clinical condition.

Objective To evaluate the remission situation of early re-induction with priming low dose regimen containing G-CSF in treating acute myeloid leukemia (AML).Methods Ninety-seven AML patients in our hospital from March 2015 to January 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. All cases adopted the standard DA regimen for conducting the induction chemotherapy, among them,38 cases had significant residual disease on 14 d of induction chemotherapy,21 cases adopted the low dose priming regimen for conducting the early re-induction chemotherapy,17 cases adopted the tandard DA gregimen for conducting the re-induction chemotherapy. The complete remission(CR) rate and and adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results The total CR rate in all 97 cases was 60.8%;among 38 cases needing re-induction chemotherapy, the CR rate in the priming regimen re-induction group was 76.2 %,which was significantly higher than 41.2 % in the DA regimen re-induction group, the difference was statistically significant (P=0.028);the occurrence rates of side effects such as infection and cytopenia during re-induction chemotherapy process had no difference between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion For AML patients with obvious residual disease on 14 d of induction chemotherapy, adopting low dose priming regimen in re-duction chemotherapy has higher CR,which is superior to the standard DA regimen.
7.Progress in study of chemical constituents and anti-tumor activities of Cnidium monnieri.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2005;30(17):1309-1313
The main pharmacological constituents of Chinese traditional medicine herb Cnidium monnieri are coumarin compounds and volatile oil. In addition, it contains monoterpene polyols, glucides, as well as recently discovered sesquiterpene components. In recent years, rather active investigations of its anti-tumor were performed at home and abroad. C. monnieri possesses multi-aspect and comprehensive anti-tumor functions, involving directly tumor-inhibitory activity, anti-mutagenicity, reversing multi-drug tolerance of tumor, as well as improving immune functions and so on. In this review, chemical constituents, anti-tumor activities and relevant investigations of Fructus Cnidii were summarized recent decade.

OBJECTIVETo observe effect of acupuncture at Sifeng (EX-UE 10) on serum leptin level in the child of anorexia, so as to reveal relation between changes of blood leptin level and anorexia of child.
METHODSForty-two cases were randomly divided into 3 groups. The treatment group A (n = 15) were treated with acupuncture at Sifeng (EX-UE 10), once each week, 3 consecutive sessions constituting one course; the treatment group B (n = 15) were treated with acupuncture at Sifeng (EX-UE 10), once two weeks, 3 consecutive sessions constituting one course; the medication group (n = 12) were treated with oral administration of Lactein tablets, 1 - 2 tablets each time, 3 times each day, 4 weeks constituting one course.
RESULTSThe effective rate was 93.3% in the treatment group A and 93.3% in the treatment group B, which were higher than that in the medication group, with a very significant differences (P < 0.01); after treatment, the serum leptin levels in the 3 groups had very significant changes (P < 0.01); the improvement of serum leptin levels in the treatment group A and B were better than that in the medication group (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONAcupuncture at Sifeng (EX-UE 10) can promote secretion of serum leptin in the child of anorexia, and improve anorexia.

OBJECTIVETo study the role of lateral collateral ligament complex on the posterolateral rotatory instability and the relationship between the radiocapitellar ratio (RCR) and the injury of lateral collateral ligament complex on X-ray images.
METHODSTwenty elbow joints from fresh-frozen adult cadavers were used to make osteo-ligamentous elbow specimens. The specimens were fixed with a self-made device to maintain posterolateral rotatory instability of the elbow joint. All the specimens were divided into two groups: group A and group B. Surgical procedures were carried out as follows in the lateral structures of group A: A1, intact specimen; A2, transection of radial ulnar collateral ligament firstly; A3, transection of annular ligament secondly; A4, final transection of the radial collateral ligament. The procedures in group B were carried out as follows: B1, intact specimen; B2, transection of the radial collateral ligament firstly; B3, transection of the annular ligament secondly; B4, final transection of the radial ulnar collateral ligament. Lateral X-ray films of elbow joint were taken, and the radiocapitellar ratio (RCR) was measured by using PACS. All analysis was performed with SPSS 17.0 software.
RESULTSGroup A: the increases in RCR had statistical differences among A1, A2, A3, and A4 groups. Group B: the increases in RCR had no statistical differences among B1, B2 and B3 groups; but the increase in RCR in group B4 was more than that in B1, B2 and B3 groups.
CONCLUSIONThe radial ulnar collateral ligament is a key structure to maintain posterolateral rotatory stability;the radial collateral ligament and the annular ligament are the secondary important structures. There are 4 grades of the posterolateral rotatory instability of the elbow, according to the X-ray imaging classification.
