In order to change the situations such as students’passivity and low enthusiasm in the traditional experimental teaching of Microbiology and improve students’comprehensive qualities,exploration and attempt on experimental teaching reforms including teaching contents,teaching modes,laboratory management and evaluation system of examination were done.Teaching practices showed that the normalized ex- periment syllabus based on the correct orientation of experimental teaching of Microbiology,the actualization of teaching mode of basic skill training-integrated experiment-designed experiment and the management of opening laboratory were effective measures in improving experimental teaching of Microbiology.

A total of 144 patients with Graves disease were divided into 3 groups according to their disease courses (≤ 1 year,1 year ＜ course ≤ 5 years,＞ 5 years).The bone metabolic biochemical markers and bone mineral density (BMD) of 144 patients with Graves disease and 26 normal controls were observed.Compared with control group,serum levels of calcium,phosphate,alkaline phosphatase and urinary levels of phosphate and magnesium in Graves disease patients were significantly increased(P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05),but serum levels of magnesium and 25 (OH) D3,1,25 (OH)2D3 were significantly decreased (P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05).BMD of all sites in patients were significantly lower than that of normal controls (P ＜ 0.01 or P ＜ 0.05).

OBJECTIVETo study clinical effects of surgery for the treatment of Mayo II B comminuted fracture in ulna olecranon.

METHODSFrom May 2008 to March 2015, a total of 37 patients with Mayo II B comminuted fracture in ulua olecranon were treated, including 20 males and 17 females, ranging in age from 40 to 65 years old ,with an average of 53 years old. All the patients were treated with open reduction and internal fixation within 4 to 7 days after injuries. All the patients had pain and functional disorder uf elbow joint. The X-ray and CT examination showed ulna olecranon comminuted fracture of Mayo II B. Postoperative complications were observed ,and Broberg-Morrey criteria was used tu evaluate therapeutic effects.

RESULTSAll the patients were followed up ,and the duraiton ranged from 9 to 30 months ,with a mean of 15 months. Two patients had surface infection around incision ,and were healed by changing dressings. No other complications occurred such as needle slipping to stimulate skin ,screw loosening and wire broken. One patient had slight uneveness of joint surface without obvious functional disorder. According to Broberg-Morrey elbow fracture curative effect criteria, 11 paients got an excellent result, 24 good and 2 fair,and the total score was 87.0 ± 7.3.

CONCLUSIONFor the Mayo II B comminuted fracture in ulna olecranon, preoperative preparation, intraoperative restoring of the articular surface smooth and reasonable internal fixation, and postoperative rehabilitation actively, can obtain satisfactory clinical effects.

Objective To investigate the effect of heparin-binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor (HB-EGF) on mitochondrial pathway of apoptosis in rats with neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC).Methods Sprague-Dawley neonatal rats were randomly divided into three groups with ten in each.NEC group rats were formula fed,and hypoxia exposed by 100％ N2 for 90 s and cold stress at 4 ℃ for 10 min twice a day for three days.Additionally,rats in HB-EGF group received HB-EGF 800μg/kg by gavage four times a day for three days.Rats in control group were given breast milk feeding for three days without any interventions.Seventy-two hours after born,all neonatal rats were sacrificed after fasting for 12 h,from which the terminal ileum was removed.HE-staining was done for histologic evaluation.Mitochondrial ultrastructure was observed under electron microscopy.Cytochrome C was detected by immunohistochemical analysis and apoptosis inducing factor (AIF) and apoptotic protease activating factor-1 (APAF-1) were measured by Western blot.Analysis of variance and q-test were used to compare the difference among groups.Results (1) The incidence of NEC in HB-EGF group was lower than that in NEC group (2/10 vs 9/10,x2 =7.27,P＜0.01).(2) In NEC group,mitochondria in epithelial cells and muscle cells of intestine were significantly swelling,appearing many electron-lucent zones in matrix.Ultrastructure of mitochondria were severely damaged.In HB-EGF group,mitochondria were less swelling and showed milder damage than those in NEC group.(3) The expression of cytochrome C in ileal tissue in NEC group was higher than that in control group (0.030±0.018 vs 0.002±0.001,q=6.15,P＜0.01).The expression of cytoehrome C in ileal tissue in HB-EGF group was lower than that in NEC group (0.014±0.018 vs 0.030±0.018,q=3.53,P＜0.05).The expression of APAF-1 and AIF in NEC group was higher than those in control group (1.364±0.299 vs 0.215±0.033,q=15.31,P＜0.05;0.181±0.050 vs0.127±0.045,q=3.71,P＜0.05).Compared to NEC group,the expression of APAF-1 was lower (0.455±0.123 vs 1.364±0.299,q=4.04,P＜0.05) and the expression of AIF was higher (0.289±0.045 vs 0.181±0.050,q=7.32,P＜0.05) in HB-EGF group.Conclusions HB-EGF could reduce the incidence of NEC in neonatal rats by inhibiting the mitochondrial pathway related apoptosis through down regulation of APAF-1.

Objective: To learn the influencing factors for self-violent thoughts and behaviors among the ninth-grade students in Jiangbei District of Ningbo, so as to provide the basis for carrying out psychological intervention. Methods: The ninth-grade students in a junior high school each of the six streets ( towns ) in Jiangbei District were recruited by multi-stage cluster sampling method from October to November 2018. A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the general information, life style, psychological condition, self-violent thoughts and behaviors in the latest year. Multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors for self-violent thoughts and behaviors. Results: A total of 1 300 questionnaires were issued and 1 238 valid ones were recovered, with an effective rate of 95.23%. The prevalence rates of self-violent thoughts and behaviors among the ninth-grade students were 16.88% and 8.48%. TheResults of the multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that abnormal marital status of parents ( OR=2.074, 95%CI: 1.139-3.775 ) , no moderate physical activity ( OR=1.764, 95%CI: 1.101-2.826 ) , sleeping less than 8 hours ( OR=1.858, 95%CI: 1.273-2.712 ) , alcohol consumption ( OR=2.108, 95%CI: 1.448-3.070 ) , sense of despair ( OR=6.397, 95%CI: 4.195-9.757 ) , sense of anxiety ( OR=4.094, 95%CI: 2.725-6.151 ) , sense of loneliness ( OR=1.879, 95%CI: 1.241-2.854 ) , and cyber-bullying ( OR=5.155, 95%CI: 2.780-9.556 ) were risk factors for self-violent thoughts; not living with parents ( OR=2.057, 95%CI: 1.021-4.145 ) , alcohol consumption ( OR=1.756, 95%CI: 1.074-2.872 ) , sense of despair ( OR=7.197, 95%CI: 4.365-11.864 ) , sense of anxiety ( OR=5.832, 95%CI: 3.276-10.382 ) , fighting ( OR=2.272, 95%CI: 1.219-4.232 ) and physical bullying ( OR=3.462, 95%CI: 1.135-10.558 ) were risk factors for self-violent behaviors. Conclusion Drinking, family relationship, bullying, and mental health problems such as sense of despair and anxiety were associated with the self-violent thoughts and behaviors of ninth-grade students.
