Objective To explore the roles of NF-?B in expression of human ?-defensin-2(hBD-2) mRNA induced by TNF-? in the human airway primary epithelial cells.Methods After the human bronchial primary epithelial cells were stimulated with TNF? or first with NF-?B inhibitor PDTC,then TNF-?,the expression of hBD-2 mRNA was detected by RT-PCR.The I?B-? protein level in the cytoplasm was detected by Western blotting and the nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-?B) binding activity was analyzed by electrophoretic mobility shift assays.Results The hBD-2 mRNA could be detected after 2.5 h of TNF-? stimulation and expressed in a dose-dependent manner.The NF-?B could be activated after 0.5 h of TNF-? stimulation.The supershifts assays indicated that the p65-p50 heterodimer formed complexes of NF-?B were involved in the activated of NF-?B.Conclusion TNF-? can induce the expression of hBD-2 mRNA in a dose-dependent manner.The p65-p50 heterodimer formed complexes of NF-?B play an important role in the regulation of hBD-2 gene expression in response to TNF-?.

Objective To compare the volatile constituents and anti-tumor activity from the peel and shell parts of Podocarpus nageia fruits. Methods Steam distillation was used for extracting volatile oil from the peel and nutshell of Podocarpus nageia, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was exploited to compare the chemical compositions. Their anti-tumor activities were studied by the MTT assay. Results The yield of volatile oil from nageia peel was 0. 23%. 21 kinds of composition were isolated and 18 kinds were identified, the main composition was caryophyllene, accounting for 72. 44% contents of the total volatile oil. The volatile oil from nageia nutshell was 0. 15%. 15 kinds of composition were isolated and 13 species were identified from the nutshell. 4 compositions were found in both two parts. The volatile oil from both of nageia peel and nutshell inhibitted nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells proliferation in vitro, and the IC50 were 54. 58 and 114. 83 μg·mL-1 , which indicated that the volatile oil from the peel showed stronger inhibitory activity. Conclusion The main components in the volatile oil from nageia fruit are alkenes, alcohols and terpenes. The volatile oil extracted from peel shows comparable stronger anti-tumor activity.

Objective To establishment the model of angiotensin Ⅱ (AngⅡ) inducinged cardiomyocyte hypertrophy in H9c2 myocardial cells, and observinge the the changes of ubiquitin binding protein leveljunction protein ubiquitination level. Methods Myocardial cell isolated and subcultured H9c2 were cultured in vitro andmyocardial cell, they were divided into three groups in different AngⅡ concentration (10-8, 10-7, 10-6 mol/L), with in different hours (0, 6, 12, 24, 48, 72 h), and there is also a control group; measured the total protein contentlevel were measured useby BCA method , measured the number of cardiomyocytes in the same area were measured, and the relative surface area of myocardial cells were calculated. The expression of ubiquitin binding protein cardiomyocyte hypertrophy was time- and concentration-dependently induced by AngⅡ, wheremanifested, as total cellular protein content,relative cell surface area and the expression of ubiquitin binding proteinubiquitinated desmin significantly increasing compared with the control group (P < 0.05), which were most significant in 10-7 mol/L AngⅡtreated group for 48 h. Conclusions Cardiomyocyte hypertrophy model induced by 10-7 mol/L AngⅡ for 48 h , was successfully established , where H9c2 cardiomyocyte hypertrophy was induced by 10-7 mol/L AngⅡ in 48 h, and ubiquitin binding proteinubiquitinated desmin significantly increased in cardiomyocyte hypertrophy.

Objective To estimate the quality and efficacy of the academic thesis of compound anisodine in traumatic optic neuropathies(TON)treatment. Method We searched Chinese database last or"blunt trauma"as key words,and analyzed them using the standard of evidence-based medicine(EBM).Result 6 RCTS with a total of 415 eyes included are retrieved,and the OR value is 6.54 with a 95%CI of[4.14,10.35],P＜0.00001,the difference is significant;sub-category analyses are made and both show significant difference(P＜0.0001). Conclusion The existing evidence supports that prognosis of TON is better when compound anisodine are adopt in treatment,and this effect is significant in steroid treatment.Compound anisodine can be used alone for TON treatment.However.because there are only 6 thesis are retrieved and all of them have methodological short-comings,the evidence is not convincing.There is an urgent need of well-planed,large-scale and multiple-center studies to assess the role of compound anisodine in traumatic optic neuropathies treatment.

Objective To investigate the relationship between omentin-1 and Coronary heart disease in different glucose tolerance populations. Methods Serum omentin-1 levels were determined by ELISA in 143 subjects with normal glucose tolerance,impaired glucose tolerance with CHD, type 2 diabetes mellitus with CHD. The relationships between omentin-1 and waist- to-hip ratio, body mass index (BMI), blood Glucose, serum insulin,HOMA-IR and blood fat were also explored.Coronary artery stenosis was screnned by coronary interventional angiography and assessed by Gensini scoring system. Results Serum omentin-1 levels were all lower in T2DM and IGT subjects than those in control subjects (P<0.01). Serum omentin-1 was correlated positively with high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (P < 0.01),and inversely with body mass index,waist-hip ratio,diastolic blood pressure, triglyceride,fasting blood glucose,fasting insulin,HbA1c,[w1]and insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)(P<0.05 or P <0.01).Omentin-1 levels was negative related with Gensini coronary artery score (P < 0.01). Multiple linear regression showed body mass index,HOMA-IR,diastolic blood pressure were independently associated with omentin-1 levels (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusions Serum omentin-1 levels, associated with fat,insulin sensitivity, are likely to play an important role in insulin resistance and the development of CHD in populations with different glucose tolerance.

Most of the present antiepileptic drug trials focus on efficacy and short-term safety with limited information relevant for daily clinical practice, such as spectrum of efficacy, effective dose, titration method, drug interactions, and long-term outcome. Antiepileptic drug trials more akin to daily clinical practice should also be emphasized in future trials. There are, limited randomized control trials for certain seizure types or epilepsy syndromes, such as Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and severe myoclonic epilepsy in infancy. The author proposed self-controlled “class S” study in patients who has well-defined epilepsy syndrome with homogeneity in evolution of illness and high frequency of seizures.

Objective To discuss the influence on cerebral oxygen balance and metabolism of propofol target controlled infusion induced tracheal intubation in patients with laparoscopic surgery.Methods A total of 96 patients with gynecologic laparoscopic surgery were selected from January 2012 to October 2013.All patients were in propofol target controlled infusion anesthesia induction downward internal jugular vein retrograde through jugular vein ball tube,radial artery catheter.According to propofol target controlled infusion target concentrations,96 patients were divided into A group (32 cases,3 μ g/ml),B group (33 cases,5 μμg/ml) and C group (31 cases,7 μg/ml).Hemodynamic and Nacotrend index (NI) change were monitored in the process of surgery patients,with internal jugular vein and radial artery blood at pre-induction (To),intubation (T1),30 min after intubation (T2) and the end of the operation (T3) were detected and arterial blood oxygen saturation (PaO2),arterial oxygen content (CaO2),internal jugular vein ball blood oxygen saturation (SjvO2),internal jugular vein ball blood oxygen partial pressure (PjvO2) at different time points were compared among three groups.Artery-internal jugular vein ball low blood oxygen of components (Da-jvO2),brain oxygen uptake rate (CEO2),poor lactic acid content (Da-jvL) were calculated.Results The systolic blood pressure,heart rate and NI at T1,T2 was lower than that at To in three groups,and there was significant difference (P ＜ 0.05),but there was significant difference in NI at T1,T2 among three groups (P ＜ 0.05).Compared with T0,PaO2,PjvO2,SjvO2 and CaO2 at T1-T3 in three groups were increased significantly (P ＜ 0.05),and the highest was C group,and then B group and A group.In the process of propofol target controlled infusion,Da-jvO2,CEO2 and Da-jvL showed a trend of gradual decline,Da-jvL decline highest significantly (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Propofol target controlled infusion induced endotracheal intubation can decrease the laparoscopic surgery in patients with cerebral oxygen metabolism and the brain tissue of ischemia hypoxia tolerance,but will not lead to cerebral oxygen supply and demand imbalance,and 7 μ g/ml concentration of propofol anesthesia effect is the best.

Objective To analyze the clinicopathologic features of primary cutaneous CD30 positive lymphoproliferative disorders. Methods A clinical, pathological and immunohistochemical analysis was carried out in 4 cases of lymphomatoid papulosis and 5 cases of primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma. Results Lymphomatoid papulosis was divided into 3 subtypes, A, B and C. The lymphomatoid papulosis of subtype A was pathologically characterized by pleomorphic anaplastic large cells or Steinberg-reed cells scattered or patchly distributed among many inflammatory cells; subtype B showed pathological changes characteristic of granuloma fungoides, and manifested as a broad infiltration zone of lymphocytes in dermis with scattered small- to middle-sized atypical gyrus-like lymphocytes; subtype C was characterized by a diffuse distribution of anaplastic large cells and could clinically subside spontaneously. Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma clinically manifested as subcutaneous nodules or papules, and was pathologically characterized by large, pleomorphic, round or ellipse cells with plentiful, eosinophilic or bicolor cytoplasm, large nuclei and obvious nucleoli. The neoplastic cells characteristically expressed CD30 antigen in both lymphomatoid papulosis and primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma, and all the cases showed a favorable prognosis.Conclusions Primary cutaneous CD30 positive lymphoproliferative disorders are a spectrum of cutaneous T cell lymphoma with favorable prognosis, and a synthetic analysis of clinical, histopathological and immunohistochemical findings is beneficial to the diagnosis of these entities.

Objective To explore the interventional effect of two different methods in the prevention of chemotherapy phlebitis caused by 5-fluorouracil.Methods Eighty cases of patients treated with cisplatin+5-fluorouracil (PF) chemotherapy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from May 2015 to July 2016 were selected and divided into the observation group and control group according to admission time,40 cases in each group.The observation group was smeared with 2% anisodamine along the direction of vein puncture after peripheral venous puncture success,while the control group was smeared with mucopolysaccharide polysulphate emulsion paste.The occurrence of phlebitis and degree of local pain after intervention were compared between the two groups.The blood biochemical indexes and inflammatory factors levels before and after intervention were compared too.Results After the intervention,the distribution of phlebitis level and local pain degree had statistical difference between the two groups (Z=2.57,2.53;P=0.01);the observation group was superior to the control group in the aspects of phlebitis lesion degree and local pain alleviation;WBC,MPV and PDW in the observation group had statistical difference between before and after intervention;WBC,PLT and PCT in the control group had statistical difference between before and after intervention (P<0.05);PLT count was positively correlated with PCT in the two groups (r=0.952,P<0.05);the CRP level and WBC count after intervention had no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion 2% anisodamine can effectively prevent and alleviate the occurrence of 5-FU caused chemotherapy phlebitis and local pain.At the same time,PLT can provide a basis for preventing chemotherapy phlebitis.
