Objective To study the effect of in utero exposure of TCDD on synthesis of EGF and EGFR in submandibular gland of rat offspring. Methods SD rats were treated with TCDD 5??g/kg on Day 15 of gestation, the expression of EGF and EGFR in submandibular gland of rat offspring were analyzed by immunohistochemistry method. Results On PND32 and PND49, the expression of EGF and EGFR in TCDD experiment group were more than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion In utero exposure of TCDD can promote the synthesis of EGF and EGFR in submandibular gland of rat offspring from prepuberty stage through puberty stage. Objective To assess the clinical efficacy of levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system(LNG-IUS) in the treatment of adenomyosis. Methods Forty-two patients with adenomyosis diagnosed by clinical symptoms, MRI, laparoscopy and/or chromatic colour type-B ultrasound were treated with LNG-IUS, and the menstrual blood volume, severity of dysmenorrhea and uterine volume were observed three months later. Results After 3 month treatment of LNG-IUS, the menstrual blood volume reduced significantly to (27?11)% of that before treatment. The uterine volume was decreased from (143?33) cm 3 to (115?22) cm 3( P

OBJECTIVE To summarize the use of intraoperative neuromonitoring system for monitoring and protection of recurrent laryngeal nerve during thyroid surgery. METHODS There were 21 cases in this study, included 5 cases with thyroid cancer, 9 cases with thyroid benign tumor and 7cases with hyperthyroidism. Intraoperative neuromonitoring system includes the host monitor, stimulus detection pin of recurrent laryngeal nerve, special EMG endotracheal intubation tube which contacts vocal cord, grounding conductive circuit electrode, and anti-jamming probe. Operation method: a "three-step method" was adopted. First we revealed the cervical vagus nerve trunk and tested our instruments, and then dissected and protected the recurrent laryngeal nerve, followed by removal of thyroid tissue. RESULTS In all 21 patients, operative side recurrent laryngeal nerve were exposed from lower thyroid blood vessels to the larynx. All patients were phonated as well as before operation, and without drinking cough. CONCLUSION The intraoperative neuromonitoring system can avoid damage of the recurrent laryngeal nerves when we exposed the recurrent laryngeal nerve before resection of the thyroid tissue and tumor.

Objective To investigate influence of mirtazapine on polysomnograpy (PSG) of depression dysphylaxia patient and treatment effect. Methods 22 dysphylaxia patients and 22 healthy contrast persons were detected by PSG.The group of dysphylaxia patients were re-detected PSG 6 weeks later after treatment by Mirtazapine. In order to evaluate the patient' symptoms of depression and early awakening, the scale of HAMD was utilized at the time before and after 2 weeks,6 weeks treatment by mirtazapine. To compare changes of PSG index,HAMD scores and dysphylaxia scores before and after treatment. Results Compared with healthy controls, there existed much deviation with dysphylaxia patients on PSG index.6 weeks after mirtazapine treatment, the PSG showed the sleeping latency had shortened to ( 16.9 ± 6.6) min, sleep efficiency had improved ( 85.4 ± 6.7 ) %,awake time had shortened (27.7 ± 10.4)min,sleep maintenance rate had risen (87.9 ±5.3)%,decrease (9.7±4.1 )% of the S1 sleeping stage percentage,S2 had increased ( 148.0 ±30.7)%,REM density had decreased (56.1 ±3.8)%.the difference was significant (P<0.05).The scores of HAMD and early awakening after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment, the difference was significant (P<0.01 ).Correlation analysis showed there was no significant correlation between the HAMD,dysphylaxia reduced rate and changes of PSG all indicators(P > 0.05 ).Conclusion It may be one of the biological markers for dysphylaxi in shortened of REM sleep latency, prolonged of REM sleep time and increased of REM activity and density. There is no correlation between post-treatment changes of PSG.

Objective To analyze the molecular genetic basis of novel allele HLA-B * 9534 and establish the allele group specific primer PCR method. Methods Genomic DNA was extracted from whole blood by commercial DNA extraction kit. The HLA-B exons 1 to 8 coding sequences of the proband were am-plified by PCR and the amplification product was purified with double enzymes digestion and both strands of exons 2, 3 and 4 were sequenced. The exon 2-4 amplification of the HLA-B * 9534 was performed with al-lele group specific primers PCR and the PCR product was directly sequenced for exon 2 to 4. Results The proband has two HLA-B alleles. The result was assigned for HLA-B * 1518 and B * 4601 combination with a mismatch in 593A/G heterozygote by DNA sequencing of exon 2 to 4 with loci primers. After separating the two alleles of the proband with allele group specific primers polymerase chain reaction method, HLA-B * 4601 and HLA-B * 9534 alleles were identified after sequencing. The HLA-B * 9534 is identical to HLA-B * 1518 except for one nucleotide substitutions in exon 3 at position 593 A→G, this results in amino acid substitution at cedon 174 from Asn to Ser. The sequences of the novel allele have been submitted to GenBank (EU046491) and the allele has been officially nominated by the WHO Nomenclature Committee. Conclusion Identification of a novel HLA-B * 9534 allele and allele group specific primer PCR for HLA-B * 9534 was re-liable.

Objective To study the effects of estradiol-17β (17β-E2) on the synthesis of GnRH and GH in submandibular gland of rat. Method Immunohistochemical ABC method was used to observe the localization of GnRH and GH in submandibular gland of rat. Results The synthsis of GnRH was promoted and the synthesis of GH was inhibited by 17β-E2 in rat's submandibular gland. Conclusion The 17β-E2 may play an important regulative role in the synthesis of GnRH and GH.

BACKGROUND:Central pancreatectomy is a surgical treatment for tumors at the neck or the middle part of the pancreas, which can reserve more normal pancreas, not cut adjacent organs, and reduce the incidence of postoperative internal and external pancreatic secretion deficiency with respect to the expanded proximal and distal pancreatectomy. OBJECTIVE: To systematicaly evaluate the clinical efficacy of the central pancreatectomy and distal pancreatectomy. METHODS: A computer-based search of Chinese and English databases was performed, and then 15 controled clinical trials were included and systematicaly evaluated using RevMa5.2 software. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Totaly 1 079 cases were included in this study, which consisted of 436 central pancreatectomy cases and 643 distal pancreatectomy cases. Meta-analysis showed that compared with the distal pancreatectomy group, the incidences of postoperative pancreatic fistula and complications were significantly higher, the risk of postoperative endocrine and exocrine insufficiency were significantly lower, while the surgical time (SMD: 59.23, 95%CI: 22.41-96.05, P < 0.01) and hospital stays (SMD: 7.01, 95%CI: 1.94-12.09,P< 0.01) were longer in the central pancreatectomy group. These findings indicate that although the central pancreatectomy has a high postoperative complication incidence, it can be accepted clinicaly, which may be a reasonable operation method to preserve pancreatic exocrine and endocrine function.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(03):-
The histopathological changs of the dog eyes caused by acute and subacute toxic effectsof hematoporphyrin monoether--PsD-044 were observed in this research. The results showed thatPsD-044 could lead to keratoscleritis and scleral perivasculitis. Phototoxic cyclitis and inflammatory edema of the retina were more serious in deferred killed animals, suggesting that it is necessary to avoid exposure to light after the administration of PsD-044.
