Objective:To develop a new nucleic amplication method for detection of Chlamydia trachomatis DNA by gap ligase chain reaction(G-LCR).Methods:A G-LCR DNA amplification assay that targeted the outer major membrane protein gene(omp1)of CT was established to detect CT infection.The sensitivity and specificity of a newly developed G-LCR test was examined by the use of highly purified elementary bodies (EBs).DNA fragments of different species and from other bacteria1 were detected with G-LCR and routine polymerase chain reaction (PCR).Results:Using G-LCR,DNA fragments of 54bp were amplified from five different species.The sensitivity could be improved to detect out 2 chlamydial elementary bodies.G-LCR detected ten-fold EBs than PCR.No signal was observed when C.pneumoniae and other bacteria were used as templates.Conclusion:G-LCR is sensitive,rapid and specific for detection of Chlamydia trachomatis.

It is generally agreed that motivation is one of the most important factors influencing the students success or failure in learning a language. Motivation, according to Harmer, is an internal drive that encourages the learner to pursue a course of action(1983: 3). Expressed more colloquially, when students perceive an attractive goal that they wish to achieve, they may do whatever is necessary to reach it. Then they are strongly motivated.This article aims at introducing the classification teaching method into English teaching. Studies suggest that classification teaching method has positive effects on motivation.

In view of the fact that the Pharmaceutical Patent Law will be put into effect in China,the authors suggest that the development of new drugs in China should be relied mainly rather on creating than on copying. However,some of the effective drugs should be still modelled on foreign products. We should pay great attention to the research work on pharmaceutical preparations and the development of Chinese patent medicine, intermediates of preparation and reagents.

Objective:To explore the relations between freshmen's self-identity status,personality characteristics and mental health status.Methods:188 new students were asked to complete the questionnaires of mental health scale and personality scale from the China college students mental health evaluation system,and eollnge students self- identity status scale.Results:①the most status of identity is achievement(43.1%),then the identity diffusion (30.9%);②male students in compare with female,were more likely in achievement status(60.7?13.8/53.9?11.4,P0.406);③the achieve- ment status had obvious negative correlation with depression,dependency(r=-0.17～-0.24),the diffusion status had obvious positive correlation with depression,social-withdrawal,and impulsion(r=0.15～0.34);④active,ac- commodating,tough-minded personality characteristics had obviously negative correlation with mental symptoms(r= -0.16～-0.56).Conclusions:encourage college students to form the achievement ego-identity status,to be ac- tive,accommodating and tough-minded,will be helpful for their psychological health.

Objective To study the radiosensitization effects of tetrandrine on advanced non small cell lung cancer and its toxicity.Methods The patients of 82 cases with advanced non-small cell lung cancer were confirmed by pathology or cytology.The first course of treatment was treated with radiation therapy.Patients were divided into three groups:tetrandrine group,paclitaxel group and radiotherapy group.Tetrandrine group(30 cases)took radiotherapy with 40 mg tetrandrine(3 times a day)from the first day to the ending.Paclitaxel group (29 cases)took radiotherapy with intravenous infusion of 60 mg paclitaxel(once a week).Radio-therapy group (23 cases)only received radiotherapy.Results Tetrandrine and paclitaxel had the same radiosensitizing effect in ra-diotherapy.The total effective rate of tetrandrine and paclitaxel group was higher than radiotherapy group (P <0.05 ).The inci-dence of radiation pneumonitis in tetrandrine group was significantly lower than the other two groups (P <0.05).The one year free disease survival rate was promoted in tetrandrine group than other groups.Conclusion Tetrandrine was known as the same radia-tion sensitizing effect of paclitaxel fairly,which can reduce the toxicity of radiotherapy.

Objective To explore ladder and compensation system of nurse-staffing which is suitable for the situation of our country.Methods The ladder management and compensation system to nursestaffing of National Health Service (NHS) in UK were given detailed introduction and analysis through the official documents,references and personal study experiences,and summarize its scientific and referenced aspects.Results NHS has formed a set of mature competency-based ladder system,and linked the ladder system to compensation system,made a relative scientific performance appraisal system,realized the scientific competency matches the level,salary changes along with the level model.Conclusions It provides references and thinking to the in-depth reform of public hospitals in our country,and the development of high quality nursing service,as well as the implementation of nursing ladder management and compensation reform.

Stem cells with the capacity of self-renewal and multilineage differentiation are promising sources for generation of pancreatic cells for cell replacement therapy in diabetes mellitus.Stem cells also show their potential in the studies regarding the embryonic development of several endocrine organs including pancreatic islets,thyroid,parathyroid,and adrenal glands.Moreover,they would be much useful for investigation of pathogenesis and drug screening in endocrine and metabolic diseases.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of plastic surgery of double-palpebra with reposition of lacrimal gland for blepharochalasis.Methods We operated on 10 cases (20 eyes) with dermatolysis palpebrarum which stopped attack and was static for more than one year.A double eyelid fold incision was made.Then redundant skin and sphincter palpebrarum as well as protrusion of intraorbital fat were removed.In the operation of dislocation of lacrmial gland we sewed up lacrmial gland in full thickness and fixed it to the periosteum of lacrmial fossa,and the levator muscle of upper eye lid aponeurosis prothesis or plication was choosed when the levator muscle of upper eye lid aponeurosis was broken or not.And for the shorted transverse diameter of coloboma of eye lid we sewed up the external palpebral ligament and fixed it to the periosteum of lateral orbital margin.Results All the 10 patients got satisfactory therapeutic effect,the cutis laxa had been amended obviously,the good upper double eyelid shape could be achieved,the reposition of lacrimal gland was finished,lapsus palpebrae superioris and shorted transverse diameter of coloboma of eye lid had been rectified satisfactorily.All cases we followed up for three monthes to one year,and dislocation of lacrmial gland had been amended in one case,others had been reposited well,without recurrence.Conclusions Blepharochalasis can be effectively treated by surgery,and it is convenient and effective to treat dislocation of lacrimal gland and blepharochalasis through a double eyelid fold incision.This multiple surgical treatment is not only a curative operation but also a cosmetic surgery.

Objective To investigate the effects of different oxygen inhalation modes on retinal vessels development in neonatal rat in order to approach its etiopathogenesis and provide experimental evidence for proper oxygen therapy for premature.Methods Totally 150 postnatal day 7(P7)Wistar rats were randomly assigned into 5 groups according to different oxygen inhalation modes(n=30 in each group).Experimental group 1 were exposed to 75%,60%,50%,40% and 30% oxygen in turn for one day,followed by room air exposure for 5 d.Experimental group 2 were exposed to 30%,40%,50%,60% and 75% oxygen in turn for one day,then exposed in air for 5 d.Experimental group 3 were exposed to 75% oxygen for 5 d,then oxygen supply was suddenly stopped,followed by room air exposure for 5 d.Experimental group 4 were exposed to 75% oxygen for 5 d,then the oxygen supply was reduced by 10% per day till oxygen supply level equal to room air,finally room air exposure for 5 d.The control group were exposed to room air in the same experimental condition.The retinal vascular development and proliferation were evaluated by stretched preparation(ADPase stained retina)and eyeball cross-section.The nuclei of proliferative retinal vessels of 5 groups were counted and the vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)expressions in retina were detected by immunohistochemical staining.The dependability between the nuclei of proliferative retinal vessels and the VEGF expressions in retina were also analyzed.Results In the experimental groups 2 and 3,there existed retinal hypoxia and formed abnormal new vessels as retinopathy of prematurity(ROP).The VEGF expressions increased after hypoxia,mainly in endochylema and nucleus of capillary endothelium of ganglionic layer of retina and inner nuclear layer.Linear correlation analysis of the data indicated the positive correlation was between the nuclei of the proliferative vessels and the VEGF levels in retina(r=0.807,P
